Last night I flashed a rom Arrow_Final_A860S_4Oct14.zip on my sky vega 860s through TWRP 2.7.1.1. Everything went smooth and the rom was stable but then there It found an update a 60mb update. I download the update and when tried to install it, it rebooted to a Chinese syhost twrp 2.7.1.1 recovery and since then whenever i try to flash a rom, on reboot it starts the recovery and whenever I try to flash another recovery it is somehow deleted and that chinese recovery comes back. Can Anyone please help me?

I recently flashed a new 4.3 rom to my S3 (Imperium 21.0).
After a while i decided to update the kernel to Googy Max, downloaded it from OTA and went to install it via TWRP, after installing the galaxy decided it wouldn't boot and just returned to the recovery all the time, i thought it must be the broken kernel and re-flashed the rom, everything was fine until i went back to the recovery (to backup the rom), after i finished backup and tried to restart my S3 the same happens, the galaxy just reboots back to the recovery, and the only way i found to get of it is to re-flash the rom :/
I don't want to re-flash it again... Any ideas what can i do?

Can close thread, after installing another recovery via Odin it was fixed

I'm from India and I was on stock 4.1.2. Since I didn't want to root my phone, I installed cwm through odin and then installed philz touch recovery 6.00.8 and installed Neatrom lite v4.8. Everything was normal till today and I wanted to install the full version of neatrom(4.1.2), so I booted into recovery, but suddenly I'm getting into boot loop and not able to enter neither the recovery nor the phone. But I'm able to get into download mode... Please help!!!!! I didn't do anything except this.....:crying:

I reflashed cwm touch thru odin again and was able to get the phone working again!!! so, does the latest version of philz touch cwm is having any issues??? I'm not sure, if this is the right thread to be asked about this!!!!!
This is a commonly answered question. Please search before making a new thread. Glad that you fixed your phone. Make sure the rom you are trying to install is spefically for your phone. I tried to update my cynagonrom nightly when my phone got stuck and was not working. I just went to my Teamwin recovery program.
I tried to wipe my cache etc but my phone just gotten worse.
Now I can only get into the recovery mode. Can i recover my from phone here
Easy solution...

Happened to me because i tried an upgrade of a CM unofficial without update the recovery
The solution is "easy": download a stock rom from samfirmware, flash it with ODIN (google: flash stock rom with odin) and your phone come back to life. After that make sure to update the Recovery (suggest Philz), add the zip file of the rom and flash it ...of course,don't flash the last rom that cause this
THE NEXT TIME, before flashing a NIGHTLY CM rom ,do a NANDROID Backup!!
Mid year I decided to root and flash Cm 11 onto my little s3 mini (gt-i8190) and everything went great. Recently I read on the Novafusion website that they recommend using TWRP instead of CWM, searched on Google and saw it was safe to flash over custom recoveries. I used Odin to flash over the TWRP I downloaded from the Novafusion site. When odin completed its process my phone rebooted into TWRP and it all seemed fine, then I proceeded to flash the latest version of the Cm 11 4.4.4 rom. Again everything went great and my phone booted up normally.
I got the zip file for the Android L keyboard and I used Rom manager to reboot into recovery and showed the "Samsung Galaxy sIII mini gt-i8190 screen and just went black for 10 seconds, rebooted and continued going black then rebooting. I pulled the battery out and booted up my phone again then used rom manager to flash CWM again and it worked! I used CWM to flash the keyboard apk and it worked.
I was a little bit worried about the recovery bootloop and decided to make a nandroid backup. I couldnt reboot into recovery, manual way or with Rom manager.
I have used odin to flash CWM and TWRP a few times now without any luck. My phone just reboots normally when odin finishes.
If anyone could shed some light on this issue I would be grateful.

I have a problem with my Gionee e3 Indian firm ware.
i have rooted and flashed my phone and was successfully running custom roms on it,
But flashed cwm 6.0.2.8 initially but later i changed it to 6.0.3.3 and installed xperia HD rom. and
i have a problem in charging my phone. due to loss of tracks. and when i got it repaired. and tried to swithch on my mobile its taking me to recovery mode and if i install any of rom and reboot its again coming back to recovery mode.
Please help how to degrade to older version of CWM
