I just got a Tab for Christmas and was wondering, what is/are your favorite case(s)? I'm looking for a case with a built in stand and good protection. Material and cost really don't matter.
I have had the official samsung galaxy tab 10.1 case for several months now and it's holding up nicely. Contrary to 3rd party cases, it fits the tab perfectly, not adding excessive bulk to the tab. You can stand the tab up or just have it rest at an incline. When completly opened it gives much better grip to hold the tab with one hand. You'll find several reviews on youtube if you search for "galaxy tab 10.1 case review"

Are you referring to the Official Book Cover? The only problem is the cost, is the case worth the ~$60 price?

Yeah... That's the one I was referring to. It is in fact a little steep at ~60$, but I find it's worth it because of the fit. The leather ones wrap around the corners and cover the sides, which actually may protect the tab better, but I just don't like the extra bulk... The galaxy tab 10.1 is a very thin tablet, I want a case that keeps it that way as much as possible.
On youtube one of the reviews compares the official case to the Belkin one, which gives a good idea of diffences in fit.

I really like it.
Clip case by Pyro Skins. I sent an email to him applauding the case and mentioned what MAY have been a problem with the case, and 30 minutes later I had a tracking # for a second case, no questions asked. You cant beat that kind of customer service.
Indeed the Official Samsung Book Case takes this one. Very functional and keeps the thin profile of the device. Only gripe is when taking pictures, since you'd have to hole up the front cover. But who takes a lot of snaps from their tabs anyway?
I do. Not a problem with Pyro Skins. Also thin and cheaper to buy.
I chose 360 case because of
A. Price
B. Don't have to leave case open in order to charge the tab. I want my tablet covered when left out on desk/table when charging. The official book case has to be left open to charge (I believe).

this case is very thin and I love it
After looking at all the suggestions, I purchased the VIPERTEK Premium Slim Leather Case Folio with Built-In Standbest from Amazon for $25. I really wanted a clip case and I chose the ViperTek over the PyroSkins clip case for the ability to charge while the case is closed. Thank you all for your input.
I am using the Belkin - Ultrathin Folio & very happy with the case so far.

I got the official samsung case and it's pretty awsome. A little expensive tough. A friend of mine was looking for a case for his tab and he found a similar case at dealextream. It does look a lot like mine, at least from the pictures.
Hello guys I'm gonna upgrade my Nexus S. I'm trying to find a phone that has a better battery life combined with speed (I TOTALLY hate lag while typing) and screen size.
Can you suggest me a phone under 450€?
(I already know the Galaxy Note & the SII but I hate the "poor" plastic case so I'd love a good HTC)

I didn't like the plastic case of the SII first too. But after comparing all other aspects (screen, microsd, user changable battery, 2000mah available,...) I bought one some time ago.
I have bought a silicon / rubber case from Mumbi for the phone. It fits very good with the extended 2000mah battery. And I really like the sturdy silicon surface around the phone. So I don't feel the cheap surface of the phone anymore and the phone is very well protected.
Just think about this option.
There are many possible choices... check this.
just as an add-on:
We have a HTC Sensation at work to check for compatibility etc. It really feels more sturdy than the pure Galaxy SII, but also thicker and less handy.
The SII with the case feels sturdy and handy.
What about the Sensation XE?

Motorola Droid Razr Maxx is pretty good
Does anyone know a case that is good looking but also great when it comes to the phone dropping? My gf is a clutz and she has broken many screens before haha. So something with style and great protection. Thanks!

hmm but it seems like damage could still be done on the device. i was looking for something that protects all around though. however, if it was for me, then i do love those flip cases! you dont see that in america much! first time buying an international phone haha
Lanyards are pretty awesome for preventing your phone to fall out your hand and out your pocket. I was pretty devastated not having a lanyard anchor for this phone.Has anyone found a way or a case that allows a lanyard?

I searched this forum and didn't find anything particular to a 360° rotating case. Tab 2 10.1"
I own a rotating case and love it, but what I don't love is that the channels that hold the tablet at various angles aren't deep enough - it slips out quite easily.
Anyone got a good recommendation for a 360° rotating case? I prefer that type of case because I can use the tablet while it's charging without having to worry about the cord being in the way.

Check out the RooCase, for a good price and good capability. Most people have complained with the 10.1" screen, most dual-axis or 360 not being worth it because in portrait mode, the screen would fall back, easily..
