No matters how I had tried, clean or dirty install 5.0 or 4.4 ROM, factory reset, wipe everything, I still have problem with delayed message whenever someone text me. I take at least 5-10' for message arrive. everything else including sending message, receive call from someone or calling are fine.
it happens to all AOSP ROM but stock ROM. it works fine on any stock ROM.
Please help me!!!
I found out the problem!
I flashed latest baseband and its gone.

Hey I was hoping I could get some help with an issue I'm having with texting. I recently rooted my phone and had been using the superclean 2.9 ROM. But after I rebooted it, I went into a force close loop and so I had to wipe everything a re-install 2.9 but ever since then no matter what ROM I use or what kernel I flash I haven't been able to receive or send texts. Everyone I text receives blank texts and I don't receive texts at all. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas/suggestions as to what I can do to fix this. Thanks.
Since you only mentioned trying different ROMS and kernels the other thing to try is flashing a different radio. If you are on an older radio that could be your problem.

I have a problem with the stock rom.
I had a cyanogenMod rom but I decided to retrieve the stock rom.
But when I make a call or someone else call me, the screen is stays black during the call.
Its comes on only when the other side hang out.
I search for a setting to disable this but I couldn't find.
Any suggestions?

You should try wiping everything (mainly problems come from the remaining data of the old rom), flash lastest stock rom which is ginger bread.
so i installed simply honeycream with mms fix and ics theme a while ago and i love the rom, but i just noticed, if someone calls i get a black screen and cant answer it and its kind of annoying. at the same time no call log is shown, just my outgoing calls, which is no help either. can anyone help me? and also on docs ics rom i installed jarmez' wifi calling. it installs but doesnt ever activate wifi calling, just says its connecting to tmobile. any help for either of my problems?
Can anyone help with my problem? Ignore wifi calling I know it isnt yet working.

Perhaps a bad flash? You can try flashing again. If that doesn't work, you can try wiping data, cache, and system and flashing it again.
Probably a bad download or flash if no one else is reporting that problem on the ROM you are using. Re-download and push the .apk alone if it still persists reflash the whole badboy!

I have gotten the messaging app to FC when the message is sent just like you are describing.

Maybe it blocks some applications, it is possible? I tried another ROM now and again the same. After FLASH sends the message, but after installing it freezes on send and not send anything ...
What radio version do you currently have?
11.73.3504.00u_11.23.3504.09_m2
In that case I wouldnt know. Try wiping cache and delvik cache as well as fixing permissions in recovery.
I also tried and no result. It must be some applications because it does not do the fresh ROM. But that ... Install them about 30 and I can not install after each test to send sms Is it possible that it has made an application?

I just updated omega 44.3 to 44.4 and the problem still persist. The problem is that there is no sound when i get an sms only vibration...(the problem started today). Even if i rebot the phone it doesnt help.
And when i try to acces the settings for sms messages it wont let me. it just freezes up the phone and after a few seconds it gives me an error that "messages has crashed". And i cant seem to find a way to get the ringtones for my messages up as i cant get into the settings... And also when i try to acces winamp shoutcast feature it freezes up the phone and after a few seconds i get an error that winamp has crashed (winamp is working fine btw. only the shoutcast feature isnt working). i didnt get these errors when i was on stock.
Other than that the ROM is working much faster than stock it just randomly crashes sometimes. like the galery crashes alot.
How is with the errors on 43.3 is it more stable?
and if i want to downgrade from 44.4 to 43.4 do i have to do a full wipe?
Any help would be appreciated.

First of all, did you do a full wipe before upgrading or flashing 44.3? Even if you did a full wipe did you restore your messages and other with TB? If you did that - that is where your problem begin. You wrote that you had problem with that version even before flashing 44.4 and I assume that you didn't do a full wipe before upgrade from 44.3 to 44.4. That versions of Omega are based on leaked Samsung FW and it could have bugs.
If you plan to flash 43.4 you must do a full wipe. That version of Omega is based on official Samsung FW and it is definitely more stable than 44.x versions.

i did a full wipe when i installed v 44.3 and it was all normall except a few crashes of the gallery facebook music player winamp and so on.
The problem with the sms accoured today and i did not install any new apps or so it just happened i have no idea why the ringtone for sms is gone and i cant acces settings for messages as it crashes... i tought that installing the v 44.4 would fix this but the problem is still there.
I ll just have to make a full wipe again and install omega 43.4 and see if it fixes the problem. If not i ll have to go back to stock...
