Unrooting is not required. You can either use the SP Flash Tool method or you can flash an image in recovery. Flash tool method will need you to root again.

friends i have a micromax a 27,unfortunately i removed the default launcher s3 for the phone and now the phone is not starting..i had the rom in .zip file.Please tell me a solution ,tell me how to install the ROM to the device.

There is one prob, I use cwm in which .rar file cant be detected for flashing. When i converted file into zip format and flashed there was error. Please help out

I am actually in an exace similar scenario. I need to be on stock ROM without any root access, etc.
I tried SP Flash tools but no matter how many links I use for downloading SP Flash Tools the file when installed always throw the same error about some corrupt RAR/ZIP file.
What could be the reason? Any idea?
