[Q] LP with customizable Navy bar - Verizon LG G3

Earlier this week I read on one of the forms that the nav bar buttons were customizable. Tonight I was going to finally update and I can't figure out what ROM that was. Anyone willing to help?
Found my answer. Vanir ROM

Does that mean you simply used vanir or there is something there that shows you how to change the buttons? Are you on 5.0?

[Q] Bottom status bar for a Froyo Rom?

Hi, long time lurker, new poster.
I couldn't find any info on the G-tab forums on this, so I figured I would ask:
I am just wondering if any of the devs have considered tweaking their Froyo ROMs to replicate the bottom status bar tweak found in CM7. There are a few Froyo ROM's over on the Nook Color forums where this has been implemented (i.e. Nookie-Comb or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=999214).
It seems like a mod like this would include the best of both worlds; smooth flash and the bottom status bar tweak similar to CM7. Just curious if it has ever been considered? If a Froyo ROM implemented this, I would probably hop back on that because of the speed and smoothness, but honestly I'm jonesin for the tablet tweaks in CM7 (mainly, bottom status bar), making my ROM of choice a GB ROM with choppy flash.
Any thoughts? Please correct me if I'm out to lunch.
try downloading the new VTL Launcher by GoJimi...its pretty nice

I agree! I did ask this in the Vegan thread and have received no response on it yet.
rbansal2 - I already use VTL Launcher and it is great but I like the CM status bar along with it.
VTL makes for a better tablet experience that's for sure.
Having bottom status bar in Caulkin's ROM would be mighty fine though.
VTL + button savior is a good alternative for the time being..
i read that the status bar at the bottom causes issues with the keyboard. Thats why they dont do it.

Status bar mods

Ive got two SGS2 phones one running the stock XXLPQ rom ( which has been rooted and had CWM installed ) and the other running the Omega_ICS_v4.0_ICS_XXLPH ROM.
I'm looking for a customizable 14 statusbar toggle buttons with QuickPanel Settings app type of deal that i can install via APK or even flash through CWM if possible.
I did look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1289896 but didnt know if I would have to mess around coding etc to get it to work
Im wondering if anyone has made a stand alone version of the status bar that is ion the omega version so I can install that on the Stock ROM phone along with Go Launcher EX.....I will be driving down to spain later this year and I want to use the stock phone with Sygic sat nav for stability as my main phone and the omega Rom'd phone as my media player plugged into the stereo in the car.
Just to clarify im looking for a status bar tweak / mod for the standard ICS 4.0.3 XXLPQ rom n
I know for a fact that FOXHOUND 0.5 is using the customizable 14 status bar tweak.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1162715
But whether or not you can get a standalone installer for it i'm not really sure.
Looks like you might need to follow lidroid's guide if you want it on your custom rom
Im not wanting it on my custom rom I would like to have it on the standard ICS 4.0.3 XXLPQ rom if possible
Ah, my apologies.
It would seem you would most certainly have to follow lidroid's guide.
Seems like a hand full of mucking around to do but if it is something you really want, then I guess it's worth it?
EDIT:
Just a quick look on the market place and I found this application: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.notificationToggle&hl=en
This could be exactly what you're after?
Hmm working phone v bricked phone.....knowing my luck ill wait until someone else who is more experienced than me is able to do something like this.
excellent thank you very much bud....ill give it a whirl when i get back home this afternoon.....top dude

[Q] Any mods planned to implement onscreen nav buttons (like Galax Nexus)?

I really like the on screen customization of the Nexus on screen nav buttons, has there been any talk of a ROM implementing this?

I'm pretty sure Romans aokp can do this on the Samsung captavate so id guess when he gets it working for us that rom will have it, but mod for stock rom I doubt it ..
We're going to experiment with it in our Warm ROM.
Some details on the implementation are available here if you want to give it a shot.

[Q] Speed Rom 8.0, transparent notification bar - How to disable?

I am back to Speed Rom 8.0 and absolutely loves everything it has to offer. There are minor bugs which can be dealth with if you want a stable, fast and battery saving rom.
Only thing which annoyes me (not ROM itself) is transparent notification bar and status bars. How can I go back to default like in Sense 3.6?
Is it possible? I did search and didn't find anything useful. Its probbaly becasue everyone likes transparent but not my style
20+ views and no reply?
Well while playing around I found settings to change background to any image (my fav all black), its in app called Energy Tweaks installed with SpeedRom.

[Q] Notification bar problems on JB 4.2 launcher

Hi,
I´m using Hairybean 2.2 RC1 and JB 4.2 launcher. It seems really good but with couple questions concerning the new notification bar.
The upper bar, where notifications and quicksettings are, hides with some apps. Eg. MX-player and games. I cant open them without going to previous apps selection or home.
Is this a more of an apps developers problem or just an feature in the new launcher? Or could it be a problem in ROM?
I haven´t tried any other ROMs cause, I have a replacement digitizer which inverts the X-axis. With Hairybean I can use that invertaxis.zip kernell.
And big thanks to flumpster for that!
I´ve tried to search the forums for any comments on this matter but could not find any.
I do like the new notification bars, so I would prefer to keep them. Don´t wanna go back to the old 4.1 launcher. Although the movement of the back/home/recent apps- buttons to the center wasn´t so good improvement.
Thanks for any comments. My first post. :victory:
