Hi,
I'm very happy with the smart connect app and I love all the options you can set up, but it seems it's not working properly when setting up my car's bluetooth as a trigger of an event. I just created an event that whenever the phone connects to the car's bluetooth handsfree, then the phone data connection, volume, and brightness are turned off, and once disconnected from the car (when I get off) all get turned on again and the bluetooth switches off.
All is working properly except for this last action, the bluetooth never is turned off and I have to do it manually. I've tried several configurations with no luck... any workaround or the app is faulty??
Thanks for your help!

Hmm, which Rom are you using ? And if GB, did you try ICS ?
I am not sure why it won't work but maybe it's set by default that way!
I got this watch over the Neo mainly because the curve fits my wrist better. I did not put it on my cell plan since I'm never anywhere with the watch that I don't also have my phone. My question is on the data feed. Is there a setting to force the watch to use WiFi where available or does it always default to Bluetooth first? Thx!
You can just turn bluetooth off in the watch settings. The only problem is that you'll have to remember to turn it back on when you're not on WiFi. The watch will always use bluetooth over WiFi when connected to your phone, there's no option that I know of to force WiFi over bluetooth without turning bluetooth off.
Just picked up my C5 Ultra, was happy until I tried to use its bluetooth with my car's built-in system (Mazda).
I have two problems:
- continuous stuttering to the point it's not usable, usually starts 1-2 minutes after starting to play music
- when trying to make a call, the phone doesn't route the call to the car, it shows it sending audio to bluetooth device, but no sound comes it also doesn't respond to the call end button in my car
Anybody else with bluetooth problems? Strange thing is it's only my car, it seems to work fine with my bluetooth headset. And there were no issues with my car with my old phones.
same problem here
Thank God someone posted this. I also have a bluetooth headset and from time to time, there's some stuttering then the music stops playing. To fix this, I have to turn off my bluetooth in my phone and restart my bluetooth headset and pair the two again.
I thought this issue is only limited to audio devices. I bought an LG watch urbane and from time to time, the watch gets disconnected. When I try to pair it again, it won't connect even if I try several times. It will only connect if I restart my watch and try to pair it again.
I also have a Moto 360, and there's a lot more random disconnects with this phone than any other phone I've used before. However, it does normally reconnect very quickly. But I did have to disable the vibrate on connect/disconnect because it got to be annoying.
I've given up on my car's bluetooth and using another bluetooth receiver and aux-in to my car's stereo. It seems that the older the bluetooth device, the more likely to have issues. Bluetooth 3.0/4.0 headsets seem to work fine.

by the way, I have tried my watch urbane connecting to my huawei 4x and it doesn't get disconnected randomly. If it gets disconnected because I left my phone from another room, it will quickly get connected again when I'm near unlike the C5 Ultra that needs my watch to be restarted to be able to connect again.
Check In settings -> xperia connectivity -> throw settings -> Auto-select wirelles option if it is close. if not, close and try. Maybe this help
Not working with my Huawei Watch, it gets paired but inmediatly disconnects asking "add as trusted device?" and after that it's imposible to reconnect. Any help will be will be welcomed.
This phone honestly sucks in many ways. I love the hardware but the software and the cpu is the problem on this phone. Bluetooth sucks, slow processor and ...yea..slow loading on everything. I know it's the phone's bluetooth that disconnects my bluetooth earphones and car audio because it never happened on my Nexus 6. We'll just have to wait till Sony releases Marshmallow on our phones.
Bluetooth cuts in and out when paired
Updated to marshmallow and my Bluetooth still cuts in and out when paired to my boss mini speaker .Sony really has to fix this if they want to remain in the competitive cellphone market. If any suggestions on how to solve this issue please help.
After the update I am also having problems with Bluetootn. In sleep mode Bluetootn off. Accordingly, all the time the connection is lost with the Sony SmartWatch 3 hours. Tired of this problem

Yup, bluetooth shutting off is causing all sorts of problems with my Pebble smartwatches too. Basically made them completely useless because of the disconnects soon after the phone is idle.
I'm pretty sure it's tied to the Doze function in Marshmallow, but even when I disable Doze for the Pebble watch app and bluetooth share app, I still have issues. I even got an app called "Disable Doze" to completely turn off Doze functionality. It seems to help, but I still have occasional drops.
Bluetooth seriously sucks on this phone...
Found a solution
I found out what causing that bluetooth disconnects on my Xperia C5 Ultra Dual. It's when wifi and bluetooth are turned on at the same time. I turned off wifi and bluetooth connection is now stable.
My pebble also was disconnecting and it was annoying with all the vibration and it wasn't event reconnecting. But after I turned off the wifi bug is gone. I read that this is a common bug with Xperia Sad...

I'll have to give that a try, I stopped using my C5 because I couldn't stand the bluetooth issues anymore. I'm using, of all things, my 4 year old Nexus 4 now (which I should say works perfectly...)
bluetooth of sonyc5ultra is worst working in connectivity . useless , disconnecting from blue tooth device by its own. Getting irritating by bluetooth issue.
Same Problem here also
I have BLUEDIO bluetooth headphone, it disconnect after restarting bluetooth in my sony c5. When I try to pair it again, it won't connect even if I try it again and again the whole day. It only connect if I restart sony c5 and try to pair it again.
My android wear watch won't stay connected to my Z5C. I've tried reseting the watch, and the phone is stock. The watch will stay connected to my Note 5 so I know it works. The watch seems to disconnect when I connect my phone to my Bluetooth headset. Then I have to factory reset the watch and pair it again.
Any ideas?

I use moto 360 2015, every thing works well
Old thread, I know, but while my 2nd gen Moto 360 works fine with my Z5c, I'm having weird issues where things are delayed, or the pause button doesn't work while playing music. I'll press pause on the notification on my watch, and it'll change to a play button, but my phone won't respond or notice that I paused it for up to 20 minutes. If I go and pause it on my phone, about 20 minutes later it'll start playing once the toggle actually makes it to my phone. After wiping data, and resetting the watch entirely the issue was resolved for a few days, but now it's back
So here's my concern. My stratos with the latest firmware when not in the airplane mode connects to the phone when phones wifi and bluetooth are both on (using bluetooth for wireless headphones) and after im done with headphones or something that uses BT besides watch I turn it off. Same goes for wifi. But then i noticed that my watch is still connected to the phone in amazfit watch app. I can see battery status, watch uploads sport info,I even can test for notifications and there you go - its shows in watch. So I am little bit lost here, how does these two talk between them if bluetooth and wifi are both off? Had pace few months ago and i havent got that problem. It wouldnt be a big of a problem but i noticed slighty drop in battery life. Phone - xiaomi mi a1. Both international versions.
You gave the the app permission to turn Bluetooth on.
