Can't be based on KitKat, because we don't have kernel source for device. It is based on JellyBean with MIUI V6 default theme. Can someone provide a fast mirror for download?Baidu is very slow in EU.

Xiaomi instead of releasing kernel source on 13th Jan 2015, did a beta Selection thread, but someone how their "To be available for beta" ROM was posted on their forum which was a Kitkat based MIUI6 ROM for Redmi Note 3G, but it has hell lof of bugs, and has chinese as primary language.
but as that rom was running kitkat and had kernel in it, can't we make use of it and attempt to port a kitkat based Rom for Redmi Note 3G ?
I know posting kernel is not allowed, I am only asking about possibilities and not posting anything.

-You can use and set up swap in the settings (i made screenshot of it ), and it is fast!

I changed so many ICS, JB roms but was never satisfied. Stock ICS and roms based on stock were very laggy, CM9 based were not totally stable (in my opinion) and had low volume, LED bar issues, battery is not good. JB roms based on stock from Sony are not smooth, battery is awful. CM10, CM10.1 and CM10.2 still have so many bugs, not ready for daily user.
So i decided to go back to GB till a stable CM10.2 build comes out.
drvijayanand made a really lightening fast GB-ROCKS version but due to warez XDA's rule, his rom had been removed.
I got his permission to use his old rom as based to continue his perfect dev and make a new rom called LongevityGB

I get status 6 installation aborted in recovery when trying to flash it.
You just reuploaded GBROCKS rom without Root Explorer in it...

No, I optimized many things but I don't have my xU rightnow so I asked because I don't know if it can boot up. Ok deleted the link. I will try to remake it when I got my device back.

You can go for S5 Sensation ROM V7 if u want stable and fast S5 feeling in ur S3
You can also wait for few more days for Glamour S5 V8 ROM!
Or else if you want a stock 4.4.2 ROM then you can go for QS note 2 port!

One thing to note here , choose any room of your liking, but better not install s5 apps. You might face ram issues. Using s5 sensation rom for 4 days and it is smooth and working great with minimal s5 apps

I would recommend paranoid 4.6 beta1 or Blekota s5 v7
Can't vouch for others mentioned as i havent used other Sammy roms
it depend if u prefer Samsung features (with some lag but good camera for example....) or u prefer phone more speedy but without Samsung features!

about 4.4.2 exist:
- PORT ROM from note 2 (with samsung features)
- AOSP ROM like cyanogen and all others (more speedy but without samsung features)
only u can decide!!
if you want kk (stock) with out s5 features then QS-i9300-KK is gud option.

Well here i present to you guys the Final Solution ROM.
Most of the roms available are deodexed for customization but deodex leads to lag in interface and usage of more ram.
This ROM has odexed framework as well as most important system apps.
Let us face the truth for a minute, all the Z3 ports available right now slow down the phone and eat more ram ,
If we can't have a smooth interface then why should we use it on a phone which has only 1 gb memory.
This rom includes all the customisations and apps you would actually need, after a lot of research and hard work, i was able to find the core of the problem ie deodexing and and all the app eating most of the ram.

Install xposed framework
Download more modules and enable
Set up your needs and then
Also enable xperia and gem.
Finally reboot the device

This ROM included includes william's kernel which is also overclocked so the benchmark will definitely be great.
But the question here is not about benchmarks but the actual problems of our device which have been fixed with this rom. Read the OP fully please (I know it's long though)

Every antutu benchmark my phone freeze and reboot when i had william kernel so benchmark will not be great -_-

well whatever rom i use ihave a bug while touch on screen multitouch issue like playing dead trigger on touch works bt other nt in the same time
i only hv this issue with custom roms

are you looking at stock ROM or AOSP based?
This is easy, stay away from Samsung based roms and use a minimal gapps package. (Play-store etc, music won't affect performance tbh)

It's a known CM13 bug. It will be fixed hopefully in next update. Until then you can use another alarm app or just stick with the force close like what I do.

the kind of requirements you have, you can try
1. justArchi 4.3 ROM in the development thread.. it is a very stable and smooth ROM
2. QS KK 4.3 ROM
4.4.x ROMs are ports from higher devices and may not be what you need.. still if you want to try, you can try the following
1. QS-KK 4.4.2 ROM (NL1 is the smoothest)
2. Eclipse ROM
3. Hyper ROM (v1 is much stable)

When I call someone , the voice of the person speaking to me is distorted, similar to the robot . I downloaded the alarm from google play . I had it for a number of ROM . I liked ROM DIrtyUnicorn 8.2 but unfortunately it also occurs as in many others. I do not understand this

There's a flashable camera zip (if only you read the thread...) And you were looking for a stable ROM, not an "entertaining" ROM. You can use CM13 if you want to be entertained by the huge pile of bug it has.

In my opinion , Neat ROM (Android 4.3) is one of the best ROM that fits Stable and Fast.
Another one is going to be Blekota S5 Lite V12 (Android 4.4.2) but that ROM has some text errors. For example when you disable Airplane Mode on the lockscreen it's going to tell you some random crap but actually it means "Do you want to disable Airplane mode?"

hi prowoj1221. i had the same problem. i suggest you to flash a new/other modem, the correct one will solve the problem.

No stock , i like custom themes and icons etc.
you cannot simply expect a non-stock ROM to be as stable, I already said the official CM11 is the most stable with these tight requirements you are throwing at us.
