G2 Testers Threadfor DEVELOPERS find TESTERS, and TESTERS find COOL stuff
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war. Please do some research if you have any concerns
* about being a tester.
* YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
CyanogenMod statement modified, very useful for this!
Hello folks, I'm elaborating this thread as an index thread where DEVELOPERS can find TESTERS for their ROMs/Kernels/Tools before officially posting in XDA Development Sections. The idea seems to be profitable and worthy because I haven't seem this kind of thread out of the 'apps' sections, and I think it will organize and make our development threads greater without things that don't even work. It will help not just devs, but all the community.
DEVELOPERS ---> Read post #3 for information.
TESTERS ---> Keep reading this post and reply this thread to get in the INDEX.
But how this is going to work?
Well, the best arrangement I could find to make it easier is listing for each variant it's testers in the post #1 as people reply/feedback their respective variants and their willing and possibility to be testers.
In my point of view, to be tester you need to fit some parameters. So, here we go.
You need to know how to deal with possible problems that maybe these stuff can cause, like BOOTLOOPS, SOFTBRICKS...;
Have a good knowledge to feedback errors;
Don't change/sell your cellphone fast;
Constantly use XDA, thirty minutes to one hour a day is enough;
All related to the world of custom (Kernels, ROMS, etc...);
Know XDA politics and rules (end of the post).
If you fit these parameters, which is probably possible you are ready to be a tester. CHECK OUT once more to be sure.
G2 Variants Specifications:
D800 is the AT&T US variant;
D801 is the T-Mobile US variant;
D802 is the Global variant;
D803 is the Rogers Wireless Canadian variant;
D805 is the Latin America variant [D802];
D806 is the Argentina's variant [D802];
LS980 is the Sprint US variant;
VS980 is the Verizon Wireless US variant;
L-01F is the NTT DoCoMo Japanese variant;
F320S/K/L are the Korean variants.
Example of reply (just need to specify your variant):
D802
And then I'm gonna add your XDA profile link in the second post on the correct variant. So devs can ask you using a PM to test whatever they have to test and it's up to you ACCEPT or not.
So, all this stated we can start this party by using the second post to link the testers profiles as you feedback your G2 variant.

More will come, just waiting replies. I thinks this is gonna be very helpful for us devs.
Developers:
If you are a Developer and need a tester for something you're building, you can request them on this thread as well, in two ways:
1st ---> Post a reply to the thread with information about whatever you want to be tested, and then testers can reach you by PM. See post #8 as an example.
2nd ---> Just PM directly the testers you want without replying the thread if you don't want an opened testing.
You can, of course, be both, tester and developer.
I hopefully want this to be simple and helpful for everyone.

Finally we got our own L9 HOME.
Well I cant promise but I will do my best to send request to move the scattered L9 related threads to this L9 subforum. This will help us to keep all information in one place and more organized.
Please paste only titles and link. No more description required, to keep this thread less messy.
IMPORTANT: The threads suggested should be informative and with full support by OP user. Please do not post threads with just random queries.

thanks pal.
Glad to see it my friend i just got my new L9 P769BK today and i hope we get a recovery backup soon as im a bit iffy on rooting it after the last problem
Issue: No L9 in XDA Search Engine?
Earlier the L9 device was showing in search results with just by typing "L9" or "LG L9", but after admins added "P769" into title, something went wrong. Now its not searchable with any word at all.
Hence sent a fresh request to Admin, for making L9 available in Device Search with any possible words mentioned below.
L9
LG L9
LG Optimus L9
P760, P765, P768, P769
Lets hope they make necessary changes in XDA search engine.
These theards wasn't moved. First is all about L9 and second has cwm zip for replacing sd. I wrote this for L9.

Thanks. I am sending fresh request to Admins to add them. Please also try sending request to authors of threads, if possible. Thanks
As a reply to my intimations to XDA Admins, just got a PM from Admins, that your both great threads are moved in L9 Dev Section.
First of all, I am not a developer, Just Sharing link of working Xposed framework for Marshmallow
So please do not post any issue or bug here, follow wanam's thread
Tested on my N910G with dr.ketan's Dr.Ketan ROM MM S7 edge Fs port
Flash at your own risk, I am not responsible for any bricked devices.
Thread link
Dont forget to press THANKS button om above Thread
Here on XDA we all know Xposed works mate, no need to create a separate topic for that. Elsewhere can't say though I have heard visiting certain social chat section might make your phone's bootloader locked, and you might not be able to root it at all. It is the "especial social group firmware" released by Sammy, not available for us.
ROFL
and xposed works on all available roms for 910 G 6.0.1
Yeah close the thread no need to open another one.

Hi,
would you be so kind to post this Index thread in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/about-xda/public-index-program-project-t3147245. Posting it in this thread makes it clear that you created a new Index thread to all members following this thread and also that I can add it to the existing list of already created Index Threads. See post #5 of this thread.
many thanks in advance and kindest regards, kuzibri

No I don't think so. Marshmallow was launched long time back & till now no update. So there won't be any updates for galaxy note 3 Neo in the future.
Dear Sprint users,
For the last two weeks me and @triskaw fixed the basic problems with our Aspire Rom to work on the Sprint network. The fix is not complete and I need more testers. The following skills are mandatory:
1. Aspire rom friend obviously
2. Know how to send logs
3. Use of telegram to communicate
If you fit that description please send me a PM. I will create a channel for testers and release the beta fix. Then with time we will fix and perfect it as we go.
AspireRom thread is here:
Aspire Rom V4.01 thread
Hope to see you soon in my new channel

I'm very happy to say the rom is working great on my N900P. @DaOldMan you're the man. Thanks for adding our N900P to the list of supported devices. As the man said, if you fit the description, pm him.
Sprint is working :good:
Is anyone interested in porting TWRP to 10.or G ?? I am putting the kernel source code in the comments section.
It would be great if any of the devs takes an initiative for the development of this device!!

I don't have this device but, I believe that one or both of the following threads should be helpful for what you are looking for and don't be afraid to ask for some member guidance within one of them too.

I had noticed a LineageOS release link on the first thread.
Good Luck!
