Okay so since we have these stupid locked boot loaders, is there any way to change the touchwiz framework to something more vanilla? Xposed isn't giving me much. Thanks!
I use Wanam Xposed to do a lot of themes. There are also some Xposed apps for themes but they are hit and miss in terms of effectiveness.

Hi. I have installed Pardus HD version 4.1.2 S4 Edition FINAL. After finishing the installation, I have then installed Deluxe Settings through Play Store and have made some tweaking using it. Is that all that I need to be able to fully "enjoy" the greatness of the ROM?
If so, am I able to flashed another theme to this ROM as I am not a fan of the white S4 theme that has been included with the ROM?
Really hope to have an answer to this. I'm merely a noob and needs confirmation before I accidently brick my phone.
Thank you in advance!

You should be able to flash themes, it's not highly recommended to flash theme on an existing theme, but I do it all the time and I've never had a problem. The worst that could happen is the you get a bootloop, just reinstall the rom and that's it

Hi Danny. If I were to change the theme, I should get the theme that is compatible with the JKay Deluxe Settings that I have right? Its that all?
If I were to get bootloop, will I be able to easily go to Recovery mode?
Thanks in advance.

To fully use the customization that jkay provide you should flash jkay compatible themes like this one, this is my favourite... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2165980.
Yeah, just hold volume up, menu and turn off key at the same time, and it will reboot in to recovery
Couldn't find a solid answer so i was wondering if there was any way to get the stock jellybean lock screen on my gs3? Im rooted on stock at&t. Im not really looking for any 3rd party apps cause those can be sluggish and not as customizable. Thanks in advance!
Install the xposed framework then install the module for the framework that will do this for you.
Not sluggish and really easy.

Sorry to hear that. After you installed the lockscreen apk did you go and enable it in the xposed framework then restart your device?

There was an app called holo lockscreen or something but no security options or widgets and such. Plus there was a pretty annoying lag time in actually locking the device.
I was on a few different forms and read that there are rooted launchers or something like that.
I was just wondering what some of those launchers are called. I am using the stock ROM, and I don't really want to put a custom ROM on there, I just want to change up icons, some colors, as the lost custom ROM I put on, bricked the phone.
I was just curious what different rooted launchers there are out there.
Thanks in advance.

AOSP ROM's are the best for themeing as they have the biggest variety of themes and the most compatible. If you are running stock though, you can use Xtheme and Xposed framework to install themes for your device, while some themes will work with it, many aren't compatible with stock TW.

Search first.
Xposed allows you to mod the phone. It exposes the framework so that extensions can do all kinds of things.
http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
I use Wanam after Xposed to give me additional functionality.
you can't run TWRP or CWM. You can only run Safestrap and TW Based ROMs.
The bootloader is locked.
Xposed does allow you to customize the phone heavily, but if you are looking for removing bloatware, get Titanium Backup. It allows you to backup the app in case removing a bloatware messes up the rom.
Depending what custom rom you uses, it may comes with the rom like Hyperdrive, but you need to enable it by going to Hyperdrive Tweak and scroll to the Xposed page. Hyperdrive is very similar to the pre-installed S4 rom so no need to learn from start in using it.

Did you check under Hyperdrive Tweak? There are many features you can enable for customization such as change to ios interface, pie control, change status bar, and etc.
If you are looking out-of-the-box feature, try Echo v24 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2702592) and Bajarom V2.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2696872)
These customization are often import from other people works, which you can install on any rom. So you won't find much unique customization from rom to rom

Yes I did use the tweaks of course I did. Its just things like there's only one different screen turn off animation. And I wish there was just...more to it. Also ive noticed that for some reason apps like YouTube or vine, anything with video pretty much, loads very slowly on my wifi ever since I started using the hyperdrive ROM.
