The 5.1 effect we had on stock ROMS is now gone on most of the roms we have... how can we these back...?
I loved the effect personally.
I have only noticed it on the video player which I use it for porn. The music player 5.1 works.

I downloaded an app called Galaxy Tuner, which among other things, allows for 3D sound. It greatly enhances my sound and comes with an equalizer that has to be set up, but is pretty good and even works in conjunction with my paid version of Power AMP.
Give it a try. And you could search the forum for the best settings.
I'm trying galaxy tuner, but am on miui, which is nexus s... So I can't use that
Why would you want it? All 5.1 does is add coloration and distortion to your music. If you use voodoo sound 7, using the 5.1 effect is like putting ketchup on a steak.

^^^^^^truth.
If you use voodoo sound and NEED the 5.1 effect, you might as ell not even listen to music. It adds so much tinny sound to your music that it's not even funny.

Hi all, I find that the in Call volume is pretty low on the s3 and I was wondering how to boost it. I have flashed the sound hack from the themes and apps section and I'm using volume+ to boost it more, sounds good and it's loud, but that's the back speaker, the front speaker used for in call is still quiet. Is there a way to fix this?

Trying that now, I'll report back with my findings.
I am currently using Revolutionary HD 21.0 and have also installed the Ac! D sound mod, the overall volume when listening to headphones is still too low, how can I make it louder?

It shouldnt be too low, its fine with me without any mods, but there are some mods that increase volume hack, like this one, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1722136
Hey all. Is there a way to make the system and music especially louder when using headphones? Like the volume you can increase it to in hyperdrive? Thanks!!!

So you want to increase the volume when using headphones like the phone speaker volume hack you can use in Hyperdrive?
If you haven't installed the Viper Audio Mod in Aroma when installing Hyperdrive 8.1, do a dirty flash and do so.
In Viper, you can change volumes specifically for Headset, Bluetooth, or Phone Speaker.
Hopefully I understood your question correctly.
Thanks man. Im on beans rom now thats why I was wondering

Well. The only reason I'm on the Google play edition is because without beats audio the speakers sound not good. So I was wondering if there is an option or equalizer setting I can put to make It sound better than stock non beats audio

poweramp from the play store
I guess the DSP manager would be what I would use to enhance the speaker equalizer around the whole device. Just need to find what's right.
