I m facing a really weird issue which is the speaker of the phone stop working after sometime. when i open music app, it does not play any music and says " Sorry player does not support this type of music file." i found a temporary fix which is by clearing music and musicfx data and restarting the phone but the problem comes back after 2 or 3 days. I m running Stock deodexed XXEMB1, with custom kernel. Also was facing this error before the udpate to XXEMB1.

First of all, a happy newyear to all of you
Since a few months i encouter an anoying problem whenever i play some music via Bluetooth. As soon as my screen gets off, the sound starts to stutter on irregular base. The app i'm using to play my music is Google Play Music.
On the moment that the sound is stuttering and i activate my screen, the stuttering stops immediately and the music keeps playing smoothly.
I already did a search on google and this forum, but couldn't get an appropriate answer to solve this problem.
The ROM that's installed on my device is UltimaRom 15.1 i.c.w. Boeffla Kernel (default profile).
Does anyone can help me to fix this irritating sound problem?

I had a similiar problem: try another cpu governor with more perfomance like lulzactiveq. but maybe battery drain will increase
Since the latest marshmallow update my galaxy s6 edge has been experiencing issues with streaming audio apps like SoundCloud and Google play. Songs play for a few seconds and then pause. The audio resumes if I play the stream at a different part of the song but it will pause again. Turning off power save mode (which I have always had on prior to the update) seems to stop the audio problems. Anyone have a similar experience or know of a solution would be greatly appreciated.

Actually my only issue is do not desturb is not blocking calls properly. I will have it on and all phone calls still come through no matter what.

I tried to use youtube to play a song over bluetooth and it completely locked up the app and I had to force close ON THE NEW PHONE AND OLD PHONE
AND NOW IT JUST MADE THE PHONE RESTART BY ITS SELF
Is this a rom problem?
The other day i was trying to listen to some music using a cracked version of spotify that I've used for over a year with no problem. The audio randomly stopped working, so I tried to just use the stock music player because I was going to an area where I didnt have any service anyway. The stock music player wouldn't work. I made sure it was playing by looking at the seek bar and it would sometimes start at 0:01, then jump to 0:05 and so on but no audio was coming through. The only way to make system audio work again, is to completely restart the phone. I uninstalled spotify, and the problem never came back until I reinstalled spotify with a different version, hoping it'd fix the problem. It hasnt. So, I decided to use a different phone but the same model phone, rooted, with the same rom, and it did it again. ON A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PHONE. I don't know what happened, but even on a clean flash, with no other apps installed, spotify kills my bluetooth and system audio.
What the hell is going on?
The android version is 4.4.2, and it's a stock rooted deodexed rom.
Hi all! I have the following problem ... when I am listening to music on Spotify through Bluetooth, either in the car or another device and I receive a call, at the end of it , the music continues playing but it is not heard on the device. I have to restart the phone... Has anyone had this problem? have they been able to solve it?

You don't have to restart the phone. Just pause the music and play it again. I face the same issue ever since the phone was on Android 9. It's a known bug.
