Some thoughts on G3 - Verizon LG G3

Overall I like the phone, but I have a few gripes. Maybe some of you agree, and maybe some of you know some solutions.
Much better than the Xperia z3v I had at first. The Xperia had a few odd things about it that bugged me, and the lack of root was getting to me. That is what made me switch.
But it did have much better battery life... I would have 50 to 60 percent battery when I returned home, the G3 will be below 20 percent most days.
The keyboard has a one handed mode, but its prediction and correction are not good. I somehow miss the space key and get run on words all the time, it's been a little frustrating. I know of no third party apps that have a one hand mode though.
The auto brightness is better than the Xperia but still not as good as it can be, it requires too much attention. It limits it's range and trays to be adjustable but it doesn't work well.
Its size has put it over my comfortable one handed use size. The one handed mode helps a bit though. Can't really do much about that. It seems to be the trend.
Its close to being a great phone but held back a bit. Maybe there are solutions to most of my woes.

Battery life for me is great. You might want to get Wakelock detector and see what is causing this. I can get 36 hours and still have 40% left. Also, it just depends on what you are doing with it. I send/receive text messages, make phone calls, surf the web, read news, etc. Usually, I have it charged before I go to bed and when I wake up 7 hours later, it's still at 100%. I leave it on all night as I use the phone as my alarm clock.
Now, I am rooted and I use Greenify to help hibernate a lot of apps. However, you don't have to be rooted to Greenify now. I don't hibernate any system apps and I don't sync a lot of unnecessary stuff either. I also have the Snapdragon Battery Guru app installed which works well. However, I will say, for a few days, I didn't root this phone, didn't use Greenify and used only the Snapdragon Battery Guru and I was still getting well over 24 hours of battery life.
I use Swiftkey and it has a one-handed/compact layout. It seems to be doing fine for me, but I don't use one-handed mode.

I feel you. Whenever I do any type of graphics intensive gaming (i.e. Real Racing 3) during the day, battery drain is crazy. When I don't use it as much, Ive had the phone go for two days. The phone seems to have great conservation when the screen is off, but that massive high-res screen has got to have something to do with battery drain. It's not the most convenient, but personally, I've found the best solution to be a quick mid-day charge. Phonearena did a charge comparison between phones, and the G3 is one of the fastest charging phones on the market right now. 2 hours for a full charge. Like I said, it's not the greatest thing to have to plug in your phone during the day, but I've found that even a solid half an hour charge makes a huge difference.

Well, yeah. Games are going to drain it no matter what and it depends on how long you play. I've noticed even with Game of War, an hour of gaming will drain it maybe 8% or more. Just depends on what you do with it.
Any phone is going to drain like crazy, but yes, the Quad HD display definitely drains the battery more due to the higher number of pixels. But, for those with every day normal use (not gaming), this phone definitely lasts more than a day.
Whenever I play a game, if I'm at home, I plug it in if I know I'm playing for a long period of time. otherwise, if I'm away from home, I know I can still play over an hour of a game and still have plenty of juice to last me the rest of the day.

I would rather have better battery than the added resolution screen. 1080p is very good for a phone.
I watch youtube and mess around online a bit on breaks. Same behavior as the z3v and dramatic difference in battery life.
I never found one handed mode in SwiftKey.
Nvm... Found it
The screen is the biggest user of battery... 60% according to the battery use chart.

These past few devices I have had... Has lead me to a conclusion.
All this undervolting and CPU throttling is pretty much useless.
The processor in this device and my last few, has had very little load on it for the most part. Some games may push the system, but general use and some youtube barely has the device going more than a couple steps above minimum clock speed.
Background services and sync... Small effects overall on battery.
It's all about that screen and it's power efficiency. Resolution has something to do with it as well. As the GPU must run harder on higher resolutions.
Turn down the brightness... And then I can't see the video I am watching.
An android phone with a current SoC, a 3000mah battery, a 4.7-5 inch screen, and 1080p resolution... Should be able to get well over 10 hours of screen on time, running video...
The radios are power hungry as well, but mostly in prolonged use like video streaming.
This size and resolution war has prevented us from gaining what we want most... Great battery life.
Still the phone ain't too bad.

True with that. This isn't an 1080p resolution screen. It's more since it's a QuadHD, so that is definitely what kills it. But, I don't watch videos for 10 hours! LOL. But, I know what you're driving at.

Battery Life

I know there are some people experience battery issues, but I've experienced none. Running on the latest build .15, This is after leaving it unplugged over night at 100% to then moderate use all day (Youtube, Email, Browser, Pinball, Sprinkle, Music, Camera, Video Cam).
I'm happy to say the least.
Cripes!!!
Is that with or without the keyboard attached?
Without Waiting for the price to drop a bit before I buy it, it will drop soon I'm sure.
The battery is so good on this thing it's not even an issue. I never check battery stats or anything like that.
Can go through a day no problem, always on performance mode.

I am sure that that battery statistic includes plenty of standby time, since it is unlikely anyone would be playing pinball for 24 hours
I get similar battery life with my Prime. A day and a half or more with moderate use and normal downtime (like when I am sleeping). I am pretty sure I could leave this thing sitting in standby mode for weeks and still come back to it and find usable battery life remaining.

same here and i just plug it in when i get home.
On update .11 I was getting 2 1/2 days (tablet only) with the same moderate-heavy use, always-on WiFi. About 4 days on standby.
Update .14 I guess is doing better than .13, but I only get 2 days with tablet+dock and about the same usage as before. Haven't tested standby.
I've found battery life to go like this on .15, with auto brightness (which usually finds a good level for me) and Balanced battery setting:
1. Around .375%/hour on standby. That seems excellent to me, particularly considering that I keep wifi on and everything syncing in the background. I can't imagine getting better standby battery life unless I turned everything off, which I don't want to do. I like it that my Prime is up to date when I wake it up.
2. Around 7.5%/hour when doing things like ebook reading, VERY light browsing, etc. That also is excellent, meaning I can use the things for ebook reading for over 10 hours. Can't ask for more than that. Note that if I read outside in direct sunlight and Super IPS+ mode turns on, battery life is cut SIGNIFICANTLY. That's to be expected of course, and it's just as much of an impact as I imagined.
3. Around 15%/hour for heavier browsing, ebook reading, watching video, casual gaming, etc. That's a little less than I'd hoped, coming in at around 6.5 hours total.
4. Around 30%/hour for heavier gaming (e.g., Shadowgun). I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Seems like it's excessive, but then again this IS pretty intense gaming.
I can help these scores a bit if I run on Battery Saver mode, which will work for all but heavy gaming. Funny thing is, according to CPU Spy mine barely ever pushes 1300MHz or 1400MHz, no matter what mode its in. It spends most of it's time at 1200MH, in deep sleep, or in the lower (100MHz-400MHz) range. I wonder if Nvidia still has some tuning to be, and if performance and battery life can still be optimized a bit--it seems to spend TOO MUCH time at 1200MHz when that kind of speed doesn't seem necessary, and TOO LITTLE time at 1400MHz when that kind of speed would be helpful.
Wow! Great battery life OP. That guy named Ickii needs to see this thread. He created a thread on his prime getting bad battery life.
Same results here though. Great battery life in balanced mode and very heavy usage.

The battery life of your Prime

Please post bettery life and please specify the time of the screen on (in Battery settings).
My Prime works about 48 Hours. Screen on about 5 hours.
Screen Backlight about 50% during 2 hours and minimum during 3 hours.
1 Hourse I read. and 4 Hours internet with Google Chrome beta.
What browser eat more power?
i'm really sorry for this but:
hour = 60 minutes of time
horse = the thing you ride or eat
hourse = NO.
On topic: battery life is fine on mine. Really depending on what i do with it. I wrote an essay today with my prime. Constantly writing for 4h with screen on at half brightness, went down to 75%. If i was gaming the whole time it would be down to 30% or something i guess So it all depends on what you do. I think battery is great especially with the dock.
Sorry for my English)))
And what you thing about browser? What browser eat more power?
hm i never tested between browsers, i always use ICS+ browser as it has everything i expect from a browser.
I heard the new firefox is quite good though^^
I've actually been pretty disappointed in my Primes battery life. I had it in the second week that it was out, and I'd almost always get 10-11 hours out of it with the dock.
My usage scenario is usually, a lot of down time, very little video watching and a lot of web surfing/email use and I almost never play games. I've noticed more recently that my battery %'age drops by nearly 10% every half hour. I always have the dock on and if I'm lucky I get around 7-8 hours of use out of it.
Luckily I've never needed it that long in one go, so I've never really needed to carry that cheap quality charger that ASUS provides that's practically fallen apart, even after I took exceptional care of it.
The only saving grace I've had recently with the whole thing is Androwook 2.0; and it is just plain exceptional! No force closes and very very few freezes. Absolutely silky smooth. I was considering selling it before the new tablets came out but this ROM is seriously making me consider keeping this tablet.

Watching Video and Playing actually uses less power than Web Surfing, dont ask me why ^^.
The WiFi is a blackhole of power and eats the battery like theres no tomorrow.
I use my TP for golf GPS in my cart with the dongle, wifi tethered to my phone and the screen always on, brightest setting and I get about 5 hours (maybe a few minutes less) of use before it goes dead.
Wish there was a way to plug the TP in when using the GPS dongle.

True, but I hardly watch any video online at all. Like no Netflix or YouTube...
Infact even the pages I read are usually mostly text, hardly a couple images, and my brightness is in the lower quarter all the time. I usually just open a page and leave it open and use it as a reference while I type on my laptop, or writing or whatever...
It's a bit annoying when my Primes battery % declines at almost the same rate my as power hungry laptop's battery...
I don't think this is for the Prime or ICS:

Does not matter what you are doing in internet as long as that WiFi is on, and transferring some data it will destroy the battery. Try it out without WiFi and see how long it lasts.
Regarding battery stats... it does nothing. Check this out, directly from Google: http://www.xda-developers.com/andro...-battery-stats-does-not-improve-battery-life/

Awful Battery Life

My battery life is ridiculous. It doesn't use that much when the screens off but when it's on it uses 10% in about 15-20 minutes. I'm on a sense 4 rom and on senseless it's not much better. Even if I'm streaming music with the screen off, it's okay. It seems the screen is using a massive amount. Is there anything I can do? Thanks

Nope. Thats typical.
You'll get around 4 hours or so of continuous screen-on time, and thats IF you start with a full battery...

You can try slim rom. It worked a little for me. I have the same issue you're describing. Tho for me I also get drain while the screen is off as well due to being in a poor reception area most of the day. Also make sure ur brightness is no higher than 30%. Its just the phone man. The screen is a hog. Honestly I've Bern wondering if there's a way to turn off every other pixel on a hardware level or something cause frankly its ridic.

Yep, the screen's the culprit, and it's pretty bad. Try JuiceDefender. If you get one of the advanced versions you can really conserve battery power while the phone's not in use, which will extend the power available for screen-on use. Also, you can reduce the CPU speeds a bit, which will also reduce draw and lower the heat.
I use JD Ultimate. My idle/standby time is now very nice, but as others have said there's only about 4 hours of use with the screen on.
I keep hoping the reason for the ICS release delay is because they're working on battery life issues. :sigh:
Thanks guys. I guess it just isn't great on battery life. I've tried juice defender and stuff like that but i was never a fan. I'll give it another try. It sucks to have 50% and the next time I look it's at 40... Haha. Is auto brightness better that doing it yourself?
Turn off any auto syncing and location services if they're not needed.

I wouldn't bother, JD has never worked well at all in the Rezound.
I have one of the paid for advanced versions of JD and I don even bother installing it anymore. I think my battery life was actually worse when running that.
My solution now is to use a mugen 4000 battery. That battery lasts so long I don't even bother to set a screen timeout anymore.

Do any of those battery saving apps work?
I'm not crazy about big batteries. How is their 1900 one?
I've got about 15 hours once off newts sense 4 rom but with like 2 hours screen time. Screen time is really all that matters in deciding if ur battery lasts 5 hours or 15, unless u have things like music going on while the screen is off, but 2 hours or so is about all the screen time I can get
about 4 hours screen on with standard and 6 hours with ext battery
Same here, I've gotten up to 14-15 hours on a single charge, but with twoish hours of screen time. Other than the screen being a battery murderer on this phone, I've noticed that having poor reception really wreaks havoc on the battery also. I live in the sticks of PA where I'm in a crossover area, and continually switch between 2-4 bars signal of 1x, 3G, and 4G. And if I don't have a stable signal for a while, the phone will actually heat up and start discharging the battery due to constant searching for a signal. Sitting at work, full strength 4G signal, it only heats up when the screen is on for an extended period of time.

JuiceDefender works fine on the Rezound. The problem is that the Rezound doesn't benefit from JuiceDefender as much as other phones do, mainly because it suffers from a different problem than other phones.
JuiceDefender's strategy is to shutdown nearly every radio and process in the phone when the screen is off and there's no active communications. This works, in the sense that if you turn off the screen with 98% power, you can turn it back on a couple hours later and the phone will still have 94% battery remaining. You won't get that kind of battery life if you're running a bunch of widgets and syncing email without JD.
But the Rezound's incredible screen (and even now it remains one of the very highest quality displays in the industry) draws a lot of juice when it's running. Not coincidentally, this is also the time when the dual cores are running at maximum speed, and the heat you feel on a Rezound that's been screen-on for a few minutes is the milliamps getting sucked from your battery.
Still, JuiceDefender can help here, too. You can tinker with the brightness curve to reduce your backlighting even with the dimmer set to "Auto," and you can tinker with the CPU speeds and the governor strategy. The phone does not need to run both CPU cores at full speed to feel responsive, and yet that's what it does by default. In the Ultimate version, anyway, JuiceDefender does a good job of capping that. In fact, with the right settings I can operate my phone indefinitely without overheating it. And any heat you can't feel is energy that's staying in the battery.
JuiceDefender does work. But it helps to have reasonable expectations. That display does draw a lot more current than most other phones, and this does limit your screen-on time no matter what else you do to conserve power.
I never really cared for JuiceDefender back when I used it on my Evo 4G. It seemed to just barely save me any battery and having to wait for the radios to turn back on after every unlock was annoying me.
I will suggest that if you have the Facebook app and you're regularly using it, it might be taking up tremendous amount of battery. If you want to keep using it, at least disable it from syncing.
Also, TurboProp works pretty nice in extending my battery life. I don't think it's just a placebo, either. I can go over 24 hours on a single charge thanks to it, and that's for the stock battery, too.

Don't worry about the language issue....
1. As with the "creaks" or "noise" when you squeeze, it seems that some Z2 tablets have this issue. I use a cover on my Z2, and do not notice anything unusual. I would suggest you look at the display, around the edge of the tablet, and see if there is anything unusual.
The Z2, to keep weight down, and keep it thin, is not as strong as some other tablets. So if you are a hard "Gamer", you may be squeezing/twisting the tablet very hard, and not realize it.
As with all tablets, I would advise getting a cover for it. This adds more protection. Paid a lot of money for it, so it needs protection.
The fact is, it really shouldn't be making noises. This is a build issue, and you should replace the tablet.
2. Speaker noise. This can happen to any tablet, and the Z2 does not have the best speakers, especially at high volume. Use headphones/buds. I also might suggest (as you rooted the tablet) to install Viper4Android Audio and see if the problem exists.
3. Overheat (hot area). This is normal on high performance tablets when playing graphic intensive games. I would think the hot area is where the CPU/GPU is located. If the tablet doesn't reboot, then don't worry about it. Root has nothing to do with this.
Finally, battery. Here is how you correctly read the battery usage chart. Let's say you have 100% charge. After a couple of hours use, you are at 70%. So you used 30%. You look at the chart, and see Display is responsible for 70%. Of course it is. The display is what uses the most battery.
So in effect, of that 30% battery loss, the Display was responsible for 70% of it ( the 30%).
Although there are many threads on XDA informing how to reduce battery usage, don't forget to set the "updating interval" on all your social apps (facebook, mail, etc). Maybe you don't need it updating every 5 minutes! You can also install a couple of apps, to check and see what exactly is using your battery. Better Battery Stats is a decent app for checking things. Although after using it, I would uninstall it. Titanium Backup can "freeze" certain apps running in the background, and Greenify can make them hibernate. Just 2 more useful apps.
If the above issues are too much for you, I might suggest returning the tablet for a replacement. You just bought it, so the return might be ok.
I forgot to add that sometimes stops responding to touch or hold.

Sick of terrible battery life on mate 10 pro

Having purchased the mate 10 pro back in march i was expecting a good 6hrs of SOT. However i have only managed to hit that once in 3 months. I have done multiple factory resets and investigated what was wrong using accubattery with little to no success. In fact i have found something odd. I get better battery life charging to 90% then 100%(how odd right?). From 100 to 20 i get about 3hrs 45mins to 4 hrs of screen on time. I get a similar amount if not more if I charge to 90 and let it drain to 20. ( usually around 4hrs SOT) I have thought about taking back to the carrier and fixing it but i cant be bothered waiting 2 weeks for them to probably not find anything wrong and returning it back. The model is BLA-L09 8.0.0.134(C34). Im gonna try using a different carrier to see if its a carrier problem even though i consistently get full bars of signal. Anyone else get such crap battery life or is it just me. Im hoping future updates like gpu turbo will rectify this problem and improve efficiency. Check my accubattery stats in the link below. Usage is normal web browsing, messnger, fb, youtube. All background apps disabled. Location wifi scanning off.

I don't know when or who began the SOT fever, but it's not a very reliable way of measuring battery life across users and devices.
I can squeeze 4h maybe a bit more depending on the day, and people consider it bad, well in my former phone I would be happy if I'd get 3.
But I don't disable any radios, I don't set the screen brightness to the lowest value possible when it's just bearly readable and I don't care about apps running on the background, actually I've every kind of aggressive battery management disabled.
I stream a lot on YT, Netflix and from my cloud drivers, when the screen is of I'm probably still streaming some kind of audio (be it podcast, spotify or YouTube), all this mostly via 4G and connected to Bluetooth headsets.
I have seen a lot of claims that the Kirin 970 isn't as efficient as it's counterpart (SD835 and 845), but haven't found any test backing up this claim, neither have I been able to test it.
What I noticed is that the Mate drains quite a lot of battery on standby compared to other phones, makes me think that the modem isn't very efficient, because the kernel goes through the right cycles of sleep and wake (doze maintenance windows) when in standby.
Having the phone connected to WiFi while on airplane mode improved my battery consumption quite a lot, if your carrier supports vowifi you can try it.
But having a charger that can charge enough of the battery in a bit, I don't even care in saving battery tbh.
7-8h here regularly with most of 4g,ive never seen less than 6h.

i never used to care about SOT either but upon watching utubers like uravg consumer and Mr mobile and other say they easily last the day with 60-70% remaining makes me annoyed that my mate 10 pro cant do that. Also reading through the battery forums where people are getting 6-8hrs makes me frustrated that i cant similar mileage.

do u have accubattery installed? what does the discharge rate say? My discharging speed currently is 529ma and this usually reaches 600. 4000/600=6.5hrs of continue use. Im never gonna get that because theres also standby battery usage.
PS: HOPE that croatia wins tonight!!! ( 1am in australia we always get ****ty broadcast times)

On average I have 6-7 hours with very intensive use and moderate use of 9 -10 hours, I had never had a phone with which I was carefree of the battery. I have the c432 version. 145

Makes you wonder what they (and others) classify as intensive use.
Mr. Mobile also claims that he didn't felt let down by the 300ah battery on the G7 thinq, it would last him a busy day till the night.
Well it lasts me from 7am to noon before I'm reaching the lows 30%, depending on the day.
Here is the thing, what someone may consider "intensive use" might just be light use compared to your usage.
Someone that says "oh but I'm playing like more than 1h a day", well this person might have the phone on auto brightness (and the Mate chooses a level that falls loweer than what I would want), several radios turned off and he/she might be playing a not so gpu and cpu intensive game, in the mean while if I'm streaming 1h of youtube I know the hit on the battery will be dramatic, 4G radio and BT always on, screen on a higher than average brightness and I might even be doing something else on the phone (either using PiP or dual-window).
Unless there is an app crashing you battery, something that's easy to spot, it might just be that your usage is just more demanding that others.
The only variable that you don't have a control is indeed the network coverage, the leaser the coverage the more battery your phone will use, and if your network is based on lower frequency bands, your phone might be working a bit higher indeed to talk to the tower.
As for your mention of GPUturbo, it will automatically oberclock the gpu when in a demanding game, I'll suppose it might have a slightly negative impact on the battery, but it doesn't need to be this way, and if it is, you'll only notice it while playing a graphics intensive game.
Edit:
By all means I'm not trying to discredit those or any other reviewer, but I put my questions mark if the totally unscientific "in my use" measuring should be the only kind of information we get from them.
This will sound pretty familiar to anyone who watched any phone review: "in my use with browsing, some calls, music stream and emailing I get X hours of use"
And I'm like okay, but how many minutes of calls? Over what network (wifi, 4g, 3g...), Speakerphone, regular call or wired headsets, what Browser and how long, screen brightness, etc etc etc ..
Even if you try to be consistent it's difficult, I know for a fact that in winter I get more battery life out of my phones due the simple reason that the days are shorter and darker in general.
If you are testing a Key2 you'd be expending less time playing games or watching content, just because the form factor pushes you off doing those tasks.
I think those reviewers should move towards more consistent testing found in more classic reviews, providing a consistent environment for testing, like measuring the phones brightness to test how much battery something like X time of video playback takes. There are even automated tests that you could run a few you'll get a score at the end.
I'm not really sure why y'all get such bad battery life, I have all my apps set to manual monitoring none automatically launch unless I tell them to it only certain ones they running in the background. I don't need every notification every second, so that definitely helps GPS is turned off, Bluetooth always on connected to my Android Wear, Spotify three to five hours per day average over Bluetooth, PBA bowling for about an hour a day, camera wanted to pictures a day if I'm in the mood to take pictures of my car, and regular everything else phone calls texts checking Instagram Snapchat Etc

NO i don't,don't have need for that. I just look at battery stats in settings occasionally.
Working days,house-caffe bar-office and vice versa,4G/WiFi,auto brightness,3 emails sync, twitter, whatsapp, viber,LINE,Vikings(battery hog game). Around 8h of sot. Give or take 30min.
Working days,traveling,4G only.weaker signal,all other the same....6-7h of SOT.
Weekends home WiFi....playing games and lurking on twitter. 9/10h of SOT.
Bummer for the game

What percentage of the battery does your screen and phone idle take up under hardware?
There's a battery thread in this subforum i believe I've put all my screens there
First of all: you are a victim of your own mind. I study behavioral economics atm and one big implication is that a lot of judgments are based on a reference point that is initially set when you first receive information about something. You watching all these ridiculous "reviews" anchored the magic 8h sot in your head. now you will always compare your numbers to that. or other high numbers. and be disappointed. huawei did not understand yet that it is not enough to make a quick sale by exaggerating specs but long term customer satisfaction.
I only get like 4-5h of sot too (in a period of 24h). I think its great coming from an s8+. The iphone 7 of my gf gets like 1.5h sot in 8h usage lol
I think you should not focus on numbers. battery is dependent on too many factors. (your screenshots about charging to 100 or 90% are pretty useless). rather should you think about "is it enough for what i need it every day?".
i play pubg mobile on max brightness quite a bit lately some arcades mostly, full matches on my ipad (20-40min/day), watch some youtube but i dont have any social media apps besides twitter installed, though i use instagram in chrome. i have a garmin watch aswell. What i am trying to say: doesnt matter what times others get, there are 1000 variables influencing battery life it is simply impossible to pin it down to one number. i have my pattern of usage and its not changing so much only sometimes there are spikes, so all i care about it "will it get me through a normal day, preferably with a little buffer?". if you cannot manage your daily life with one battery charge you should think about a powerbank (there is a huawei with supercharge). because there is no other phone better than huawei atm. its simple as that. 4000mah is the most you get in a flagship, some others reach same usage numbers but in the end no one is notably better than huawei.
I am happy with my 4h-5h sot in 24h because i dont need more. in fact most of the time i only have like 3h sot after 24h and still have 25-30% when i charge. i think our batterie life is pretty similar tbh if i use my phone more i get more sot. i think i could get 8h sot in 10h of usage with youtube or netflix but over a period of 55h i once had almost 2h sot with flight mode at night. i am happy with that.(wth are you guys doing with 8h sot in one day lol do you work?.)
when i go out spontaneously for example i experience the need for a bigger battery but it is only sometimes. for that i enojy supercharge. while all my friends have dead batterys i am still on 40% cause my phone charged from 25-75 during the 20min i showered before going out. all others only manage to charge theirs from 15-35 RIP
With my Mate 10 Pro i get 9h SOT.
if anything, this device is far too stringent with preserving battery life.
if you are having this issue, then the issue is with you and not the device. you won't find better battery efficiency than EMUI
First off disable chrome
I can get 11-13h onscreen easy with my setting. My battery accu check 102% omg

so can you post your power consumption?
for 1h usage of kiwi or chrome it draines 1200mah according to my stats.
generally what i notice is that for it always displays hardware around 25-30% and software around 70-75%. Most people with 8-10h sot here have something close to 50/50. this means that their apps consume less power relative to the phones hardware. i guess the hardware is less variable compared to software.
