Hi,
I have moto360 and lg g watch both gets paired to my lenovo p780 (kitkat) phone but doesnt get connected.. it keeps trying to connect but never connects.
I have googled it and have done everything but none are useful.
I think all lenovo phones wont support android wear.
Is there still any way to connect ? or
is there any app which will support file sharing with android wear from phone without connecting it to it ?

As far as I know, Android Wear devices require Bluetooth 4.0. Did a quick Google search and your Lenovo device only has Bluetooth 3.0.
Also, open this on your mobile device: http://www.android.com/wear/check/
I am using lenovo p780 8GB not 4gb.
Have a look into this : flipkart .com/lenovo-p780/p/itmduzgy3zbqcbv8 (8gb version has bluetooth v4 support)
wear check shows that my mobile is supported.
I have installed many apps to check compatibility of android wear and bluetooth , its all ok.
I have checked everything , it supports on my mobile. but actually its having problem with connecting after getting paired.

What version of Android are you on?
Have you tried resetting & unpairing the Wear devices?

Don't know then. If you have access to a different known compatible device then try it with that.

My watch wont connect to a Lenovo Vibe X2.
I am getting a message about "incorrect PIN or password" but there is no way to enter them, since Android wear app should take care of this.
I guess it is something to do with the Lenovo ROMS..

Hi,
in our warehouse I use the Galaxy Wifi 4.0 with a Motorola RS507 bluetoothscanner for orderpicking.
I have 10 of them all working without any problem. Now I needed 10 more, but the 4.0 is replaced by the 4.2. So I bought them instead.
But I cannot get the scanners working with this device.
If I want to connect the scanner I get the message:
Confirm passkey is xxxxxx to pair with RS507 1234
I can press "Accept" or "Decline"
When I press "Accept", it says "paired" but I cannot use the device. Also the device give no confirmation sound that it is connected.
On all the other devices (Wifi 4.0, Galaxy S, Lenovo A1 Tablet) I get the message:
Confirm password to pair with "RS507 1234"
Then I only have to press Accept and the device is paired and working.
Does anyone have a similar problem with another bluetooth device and knows a solution how I can connect the scanner?
If it will not work I have to look around for the old Galaxy Wifi 4.0.
Thanks for your help.

Try enabling CONFIG_BT_HID in your kernel. I say this since the scanner's datasheet has blutooth HID listed, the 4.2 kernel doesn't have it enabled, and my 4.0 *does* have it enabled. In the 4.0 it's configured as a module, but you could try getting away with linking it directly in your kernel just in case the 4.2's init scripts/ueventd doesn't load it.
If you need help doing this let me know in a PM.

Hi,
I've tried connecting Android to various other BT scanners before (using the SPP) and have not had problems. But I'm struggling on the RS unit.
What I normally do is on other scanners is turn pairing on for the scanner, connect and pair to the unit from the phone. Then start my application on the phone, which initiates the connection to the scanner and connects. Then I can read from the scanner and all works well.
On the RS this seems different, as you don't seem to put the RS in pair mode and connect to it. instead the process seems to be to scan a barcode on/for the device (with MAC id?) and the RS connects?
Either way, I have not managed to get this to work.
Can someone provide me with the correct process to connect the RS to an android device in SPP mode?
Any help or working code example would be much appreciated!
Hello everyone,
I just received a used 2nd Gen moto and I have some problems in make the first syncing with my mobile.
Pairing is successful, then it passes an updating process and finally it gets stuck at Syncing screen.
Is anyone having any ideas what can I do to solve this issue?
If I open the Motorola Connect app, I see my watch as Disconnected. I don't know if the syncing procedure is causing this or truly the BT connection is down.
So no such problems for XDA members?
At least can someone tell me if it's normal that from the Bluetooth menu of the watch,I don't see my phone as available?
Is it because they are already paired?

I don't see my phome (Nexus 6) either.
I solved my problem, by activating all permissions for Android Wear and also its notifications.
Finally, enabling the location at the phone is needed.

I have also a N4 and everything was working fine since the beginning.
Don't do the pairing through the mobile Bluetooth settings, but through the android wear app.

Hello. My family owns an 2016 Honda Civic, which is supported by Android auto, according to the Android Auto website. I have tried connecting my Honor 7 with the android auto app to the car, but nothing has happened. Is there anything special i need to do in order to get android auto to work? I am running Android 6.0 with EMUI 4.0 on it, stock.
If anybody knows anything i need to do in order to get it to work, please let me know.
-Isak
Isak,
Android Auto works fine with Honor 7. I had problems with earlier firmware, but updating to PLK-L01C432B390 solved the problem.

As I remember, on previous firmware it did not work at all (I don't remember exactly but I think that my car showed a message that the phone is not supported).
After first installation on B390 I had no problems at all.
Recently I decided to do a factory reset of my phone, as I didn't do it right after updating to B390. I installed the newest version of AA and found some problems. Phone was connecting to my car via bluetooth, enabling phone calls and listening to music, but when I connected USB and AA turned on, music and phone calls stopped working (phone showed that bluetooth is still connected but AA did not see it). At that time I had either phone and music available or AA with google navigation. Just spent some time on reading and solved the problem. I had to clear data and cache of AA and google play services (AA settings are stored there). Now AA works fine again.

I just got a new smartwatch device polar M200 and I can't connect with it because of poping out warning that I have to connect with it using an app which I have installed and nothing have changed. I have tried to use my other older phones to connect with it, without even installing this app. And it have worked out without any problem. Both of those device's had Oreo version. Personally speaking, I use Realme 7 too and it works for me. Maybe there's some restrictions from the car's software.
