Hi every time i try to flash anay recovery on my phone it just doenst install. i mean my recovery doesnt change , it remains the actual CWM5. thanks for help
Try installing from odin if u were flashing zip ...... Or flash zip if u were trying thru odin

Hey did u already flash the cwm through odin i mean that 6.x and post in q/a thread this section ia for Guides and all okay not for helping on issues

Open rootexplorer...Then find Recovery.sh in system/etc/here then delete the file and try again.. TUT working for me thanks to @T3snake When i face same problem and @Hungryhacker Thanks u too

Flash stock thru odin flash cwm 6 directly after flashing stock...
before u do that do this......
find temp-Recovery.sh(or install-recovery.sh) in "system/etc/" or "/etc/" (if the shortcut is visible) and delete it using any root explorer (es or mi or root file explorer) make sure its deleted

when i boot. i did not see the galaxy win i8552 boot and it goes to cwm 6.0.3.6
If you have a Nandroid backup! Restore it..
Problem solved!!
But of you don't have a Nandroid backup, try flashing a compatible custom rom..

u r in bootloop. Just flash cwm once again and the problem will be solved.
Its not brick u have to download the firmware n install it through the odin after going in downloading mode

No man its just a simple bootloop which can be solved by reflashing cwm.

People always talk about bricking but it's very rare to happen while romming or updating. If you can get to download mode, you're ok... just use odin to upload bootloader (cwm).

Enable developer option by tapping rom vesrsion several times (unt you get 'you are a developer!' message). Than go back->developer options->enable root access to apps

i was on latest firmware.. and i could flash cwm with odin.. and then root by flashing su binary very easily.. you must be doing something wrong somewhere..
In my case,
When I connect my phone to pc in odin mode and click on start in odin, it stuck on downloading at the end

i dont know about that.. but here is what i did...
downloaded.. odin, samsung usb drivers, adb, cwm.tar.md5, fix recovery.zip, su.zip
install samsung usb drivers and adb
put su.zip and fix recovery.zip in external sdcard..
enabled usb debugging in developer options .. connect usb..
open cmd and typed.. "adb reboot recovery"
phone rebooted and an android robo was showing.. pulled the cable then battery out.. waited 10 secs.. put battery..
boot in odin mode.. connected usb to pc
opened odin.. select tar.md5 file.. click start.. waited.. finished..phone auto rebooted to cwm..
mounted system in cwm.. installed su.zip and fix recovery.zip.. rebooted..
Now i have root + permanent cwm..

Try using this UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93 as other members have had trouble with the SuperSU v1.34 version, just put the UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93 zip file onto your sdcard of your phone and flash with the recovery you have installed and it should work then, and i am assuming you have a custom recovery already installed as you will need that to flash this zip file.

There are TWO kind of custom recovery :
CWM - clockword mod
and
TWRP - Team Win Recovery Project
Use which you like. There are fans of both and hard to say which is better...

Did you try one of the recoveries from @Silesh.Nair signature in his posts and can be downloaded from here and just go into the recoveries folder and select the one you want to use and they come as a .zip file to flash with a custom recovery or a .tar file that can be flashed with odin...as i use the TWRP recovery and it flashes the SuperSU v1.93 without any problems for me.
Bt it wont work on samsung galaxy mega 5.8 because its for samsung galaxy mega 6.3

Use THIS file for Root (from my box account)
Use THIS for CWM based recovery for CWM (thx +shabbypenguin)
I have just this minute used these files and and successfully rooted my GT-I9152 Mega 5.8

Yes, it's just a naming error. The same file worked fine on mine yesterday.
