Google services crashing on 11.8.3.3-0 ROM
Hello,
I tried flashing your 11.8.3.3-0 ROM from stock WW_11.8.4.23 and stock WW_11.8.3.3, but in both cases I end up with almost all Google services crashing the minute I got connected to the internet (Play Store, Hangouts, Calendar, etc.) . Of course, I tried about a hundred different ways to fix this, but finally went back to stock.
I think it has to do with all my data having been synced on newer versions of Google apps, so the most painless thing would be to make a new ROM using the newest (11.8.4.23) STOCK.
If you gave me a few starting tips, I would be willing to help.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, I didn't see until today that I had a PM from some bot telling me a Q&A thread had been created and I didn't see it under my subscribed threads either.
If more people are interested in a custom version of the newest firmware then I'll make it, but since it's been so dead regarding the padfone 2 i assumed most people stopped using the phone and/or my ROM.
If there's more than 1 person interested in a custom rom of the latest release then let me know and I'll get on it.

Oops. I thought there was not going to be a reply from you, so I created a new ROM myself and posted it. I really hope you don't mind - it was not my intention to steal the "fame and fortune" from you. At first, I thought I would use yours as a starting point, but then I decided to work my way from grounds up using the stock. I did several things differently, especially the rooting style has changed radically.

Hi. I have a serious problem.
I rooted my Padfone 2, then unlocked bootloader and fastboot flashed CWM.
Then I flashed Guerilla rom. It worked until I rebooted it...
Stuck on inital asus logo.
Then I tried a few of your zips via adb sideload. They stay on boot logo and nothing happens. One managed to get to the secondary boot animation and then rebooted and stuck at the inital...
Please help.
The phone is bought from Spain. I didn't check the SKU before flashing the first time.
Flashing Asus's zips from their site does not boot too.

Using the CyanFox 4.4 for the samsung exhilarate
Just wanted to give a big thank you to ns17 for the kitkat rom for the Samsung exhilarate phone. It is very hard to find a working rom for this phone. The cyanogen nightlies don't seem to work anymore. And most other links are long dead. At first the camera did not work, but I found out this was due to excessive backups in clockwork leaving almost no free space on the device. So far it works great and the only minor bug I noticed is that the checkbox for nfc communication will not stay unchecked.
Great job with this and if any further developments occur/have occurred please let me know as I am more than willing to test and help out for myself and all those others that love running this great exhilarate phone!

Glad to hear you're enjoying the rom! We did manage to figure out a fix for the cm11 nightlies in this thread, head over there and you can have an up to date rom again.
Awesome, google search really let me down as I could not seem to find any threads except for the one in the cyanogen mod forum that even touched on there being problems with the rom, and that one offered no solutions.
I'll be sure to check out the updated version, but I'll probably stick with the version that you posting for now as I'm just so excited to get aware from Ice Cream Sandwich.

i installed it in my s3 (4.4)..it says unfortunately, usb cleaver has stopped...i reinstalled it but its of no use

this APP i have created a while back is using a very old source which doesn't understand the new SDcard system. i have abandon the project due to some harassment from the original thread. i have not revived the project but due to the amount of questions i am getting in my inbox i will reevaluate the source and see what i can do to fix and import the newer systems.

when ever i run USB cleaver it crashes I have root and the newest version of USB cleaver but I'm running android 4.4.2 could that be the problem?

Hi, I have a moto x 2013 running blisspop ROM. I tried both versions of the app up for download the first one goes to a black screen and starts prompting app not responding. The second download does not even launch. Would really like to try this, please update me.

I have android lollipop 5.1.1 on my rooted nexus 5, I also have Elemantal X kernel installed, and whenever i try to open usb cleaver, it crashes.
I have tried both apk's, and both seem to not work for me.
So, captain, is there any fix for this?

Hello, so first post so sorry if its odd, anywho.
I have a virgin mobile kyocera hydro vibe. Its on 4.3 still as its rooted and too nervous to do the update. Last time i did this phone got stuck in bootloop. So i got a new phone. Tried to go as long as i could without rooting it ended up rooting it anyway with root genius( after about 20 failed attemps) it worked jus like the last time. I deleted a bunch of system apps mainly swipe and luminas tool bar (bloatware crap) anyway i wanna upgrade the device to 4.4.4 or whatrver cuz my phone keeps trying to do it when im not looking and im pretty sure if i let it ill be stuck in a bootloop again and have to get a new phone again. So my questions are simply;
Can u upgrade with root if missin system apps?
And can someone give me an app list so i can figure out what im missing replace them and try to update?
I dont wanna brick this phone n i dont know too much about unrooting updates and firmware stuff. But im prettt sure i cant do diddly squat as is so can anyone please help me out thanks so much in advance and if this post shows up in the wrong spot i apologize in advance.
I think there's an over the air update disabler, but I wouldn't try it because Kyocera phones are picky. And an app list. I'll type one up sooner or later today and have you informed about it.

ok thanks. jus to update my phone has lost root. which had happened before. and simply ran the same process as if it wad the first time. this time around im mot gunna mess with till a custom recovery is fully functioning. seems the only way to get rid of over the air updates without messing the phone up is flashin a custom rom. which to my knowledge doesnt exist wit virgin mobile kyoceras.. hopefully im wrong. or an angel will hear my prayer

Ok so I was trying to flaSh a custom rom into my hydro vibe and something went wrong I can't boot into recovery or the boot loader nothing it won't even connect using adb also when it turns on it has the android dude sitting there with something spinning in. The middle and it has a loading bar at the bottom of the screen and it says installing system updates and that's all it does so if any one could help me with this question I would appreciate your time thank you

me172v stuck at ready for download logo?
I made a huge mistake messing with permissions on my memo pad. i tried to change the system permissions to be r/w.... then alerts about various processes stopping happened one after another and it rebooted to dead-android screeen, i rebooted by holding power down until a screen saying 'not connected to usb' appeared, i tried plugging into my laptop running windows 7, it installed drivers for an android adb interface -hardware properties lists tablet as WM8950 USB DEVICE - type- ASUS Android Device.
So please guide me in getting things back to functional if i havent completely bricked my tablet. THANK YOU in advance!

AMPC Mini-ROM
Just wanted to say; I purchased an Asus Me172v nice and cheaply from eBay, I have rooted it using the instructions on XDA and installed the mini ROM which has improved the old thing massively. Maybe we can get some new developement going on this old thing, it is an endearing little tablet and I like stuff like that.

Thank you for a very good rom.Very smooth.Only problem I cant get around is sound volume on sms notifications.No matter what settings I try its very soft.Even tried another app with same results.Ringtone,call,and video seem ok.Anyway stil very good rom.Thanks
Hi there. I am enjoying FIUI 4.4.4 for the SGH-I717 very much. However there is an app that i need to install on my phone but I cannot get it to install. this is the app:

the message tells me that the my device is not compatible with this version of the app, however I have always had this app installed on my phone using any other ROM. If I download an .apk it still will not install.
Please tell me how to get this app on my phone, otherwise i will have to switch back to my old rom
I keep getting an error that radio needs to be newer than UCMD3. I have flashed a lot of roms and never had this issue.

There are a few ROM's that require UCMD3 or newer. Is UCMD3 what you are using? If not, just flash it.
