replaced screen and digitizer still unresponsive - Nokia Lumia 920

Hello I bought a nokia lumia 920 with unresponsive touchscreen, it turns on and side buttons work, except for touch screen. So, I replaced screen, digitizer and still unresponsive. Finally, I tried lumia recover and still, the issue is the same.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

It is important to check the placement of the chips on the digitizer flex cable. After experiencing the same difficulties as you over and over again when replacing digitizers on the Nokia Lumia 920, I discovered that the placement of the chips had to be identical to the ones on the original device digitizer. Even though the digitizer fits and may actually respond to touch, the only one that will work properly is an identical digitizer (with correct chip placement) as the original. When purchasing a digitizer, verify this by comparing the flex cable. Do not count on the seller to be correct even if it is supposedly for the carrier of the Nokia Lumia 920 you have.

1/4 inch on right side is not responding to touches.

Hello.
I've shattered screen on my Atrix and replaced digitizer with a new one. It seems to work but 1/4 inch on right side doesn't register touches and I can't enter letter "P" in portrait mode.
So I assumed the new digitizer is defective and got another one from different supplier. After installation same 1/4 inch on right still not registering.
The odds that I got another defective digitizer is near to none, so what else could cause this?
I've tried different roms all have same issue, so it's not software either..
Any ideas?
Thank you.
Unfortunately it might be... I bought a digitizer and eventually it became completely unresponsive. so another replacement and I'm all good
Sent from my MB860 using xda app-developers app
But two different manufactures (one has square'ish holes for sensors), but same issue - hard to believe it's coincidence...

[Q] tablet graphic hardware problem

Specifications:
Asus transformer tf300t
display partnumber hsd101pww1 rev 4-a00
OS latest software version
I have replaced a lcd display a some time ago. The replacement LCD was working fine, but after a few months the replacement lcd display is showing a strange and wrong color gradient. It looks like old 16bit colors...
My hardware related question, could this problem be cable or lcd or mainboard related?
Yikes. I'd suspect a physical issue with the display. What do you see when you connect to an external HDMI screen?

When the hdmi cable is plugged between tablet and my tv, there is nothing wrong with output.
Today i have replaced also the flex cable, that did not help either.
Could the problem on lcd dispay be fixed? :'(

I'm speculating on the damage being with the LCD. I'm an IT professional (20+ years), so I do have a bit of experience here. One thing that's concerning is how the screen is separated, vertically, into the four bands. LCD screens are ridiculously delicate. I know from experience, having broken mine when replacing the digitizer glass.
LCD screens are typically very difficult/impossible to repair. It's cheaper/easier to just replace. I know this sort of sucks. Perhaps you can buy a replacement from a vendor that has a decent return policy. I'd use rubber gloves to handle the replacment (no fingerprints). Temporarily connect it. Problem gone? Then it was your LCD. Problem persist? (unlikely). Repack and return the replacement screen.
Good luck.

OK I have ordered a new lcd display, lets hope this will solve my problem.
Thanks everyone for your reactions.

[Q] Problem with Display

Cliffs Notes version:
Broke the glass on my Rezound but the digitizer and LCD were working fine. While replacing the glass I broke the LCD, so I bought a replacement from ebay.
Now the new LCD will turn on to show the initial HTC screen and then it goes blank...no backlight or anything else on display. I can boot into hboot and fastboot. When I try to boot into recovery I get the blank screen. Did I get a bad LCD, or is there more to it than that? I managed to find the broken LCD and it has similar behavior, so I'm worried I may have broken something else on the board while replacing components

Nokia Lumia 820 Digitiser

Hi
I have been searching the Internet for this answer to no avail
Well, I've changed a cracked digitiser that was totally cracked and dead, I've put the new one on, however the soft keys don't work.
Now this is the question, I'm trying to figure out whether the new digitiser is faulty. I don't know what controls the 3 soft keys, its either the digitiser or are there 3 sensors on the frame.
I wonder if someone can answer this for me. If the 3 soft keys are controlled by the digitiser, then I know this is faulty.
Please help.
Thanks
Not that it helps you much, but I've got exactly the same issue with a screen bought last week.

Soft keys not responding after screen replacement

I recently replaced the screen on my friends Lumia 800, and now the 3 softkeys on the bottom do not work. I have double checked everything and can't seem to resolve this. I know that some HTC's need to be recalibrated with a goldcard after screen replacement, does the 800 needs something like that too?
Supposedly the screen is OEM. It's a full drop in replacement with digitizer. Here's a link: http://allegro.pl/lcd-dotyk-do-nokia-lumia-800-oem-gratis-i3654788174.html
Thanks!.
Ended up being a bad replacement.
Beware of supposed OEM parts. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is not original, just produced by the same manufacturer that produced/produces the originals. The quality can be much lower and QA testing non-existent. Lesson learned.
