I've been facing this too since the past week. It only happens when you try to reply to a text/hangout/whatsapp Anyone else facing this??
Yes, but after 4 or 5 tries I can send whatsapp .
I know there are problems with Chinese or bq phones , but phones sony ?
I'm having that problem all the time with my LG G3. The only way to solve (I think that is) is downloading the data for the offline speech recognition (on the Google Now, open Settings /Voice and go to the fourth option). I didn't like it because with this data installed I'm having a lot of problems with the recognition (bad recognition, changing words, etc). If there is another way to fix this, I would be grateful.
Sorry for my really bad English.
Happens on my N4 as well.

I have it installed and the problem is still there, very annoying
Anyone?
This still happens to me often. What's the point of this freaking watch if 20 percent off the time I have to pull out my phone and give the same command again. Ug. Sorry it's just really frustrating me right now.

i dont know much, but it related to network issues, maybe u should go to the store and ask them new one..
Test it by doing a factory reset and install no other apps.
Mostly uncommon apps can produce bad behaviour. Do you have uncommon apps installed?
sent with my mini pro

1 use a different browser, I like boat browser myself.
2 look under settings- display- screen time out. Or have I misunderstood?
3lag usually goes after a while. Try removing some stuff you dont use etc
Sent from my XperiaS via transwarp conduit.
Lag on an S,lol, its a bug. Reflash the phone(what firmware version are you?).
Screen timeout can be set from Display settings, not sure about lock, I amnt using a code atm.
All android browsers will default to the "m" versions of sites as the stock user agent string will tell the site that your phone is android. Without root I dont know if you can change the stock browsers user agent, but if you install opera mobile it can be set from "about:config"(type in to address bar).
Edit: If you've only booted once, REBOOT! First boot lags things up a bit.

2 ... no, i dont mean the time, when the backlight turnes off ... i mean the lockscreen in which you can unlock your phone with pin and gestures after you pressed the power-button and turned it on again
3. hmm ... there is nothing on ... expect for the stock-apps ...
the firmware version of mine is 6.0.A.3.62 ... but pc companion says that this is the newest -.- although it istn ...

It is for your region/rebranding. Most have got .67 by now but few .73.
I went from a LG P500 to a Xperia S and even tho the battery on this thing is useless i love the phone.
I only got the phone recently and i have ICS 4.0.4 / 6.1.A.2.45 and i had everything working perfectly.
However whatsapp out of the blue stopped sending messages i just get the little clock next to the message and i dont get the two arrows.
So then someone sent me a message and all the messages i had with the clock next to them finaly sent out.
I have reset the phone but whatsapp is refusing to send messages also refuse to get them now also, the weird thing is viber works fine as do the rest of my apps and net works fine.
Any idea of the cause please ?
WhatsApp had/has issues today with the service. They didn't inform anybody about it, but people all around the world are effected. That doesn't mean every user.

Hi,
I need helps related to an LG LTE2 F160L that I just receive as a gift from a very nice Korean friend. He just gave me that phone before he left Bali back to Korea. But, stupidly I don't even tried to use the phone before he left. So when I tried to activate the phone, well I couldn't do anything because the phone ask me, I guess, for a google account user name and the password. I'm not so sure because the phone was set in Korean languange and letters that I couldn't even understand it! When I push the back menu, the phone returns to the locked home screen and when I swipe it to unlock, it will take me back to that email password all over again, and it such a disaster that I don't even have his email adress! What a bad kind of a friend I am
What can I do over this situation? I never use an Android-flatformed smartphone before. I love this phone so much, even though I can't get into it yet, so far.
Just can't wait to explore this manly smartphone. So please help me to fix this problem. Any idea of you will be very, very appreciated.
Thank you very much and I'm so sorry so much for my bad english..
Thank you.
Note: I don't mind to lose all the data and back to factory setting as long as I would be able to use the phone. I have tried to hard reset it with buttons according to some website but nothing works! Help!
same here

Hello, this may be outdated since your post was dated april 2013. I actually have this phone and would be glad to help you. If my understanding is correct, your problem is that you cannot explore the device because it is in korean language? my fox for this is to pull down the status bar from the homescreen and then you will see the icon for the setting. Just click that and the settings menu will appear. Once you are in the settings, scroll down and look for the icon with the letter "A". press that and a new menu will open, press the 1st menu on the top and then you find there the choices for language. look for english and press it. Hope this help! Good Luck with the phone, it is indeed a great phone. PM me if you already fix your problem. There will be more problems after that like the limit in SMS and some korean language that are still showing..
Anybody can help me identify this issue.
Whenever I am trying to use my recorder, either audio or video. The box will come out saying (if I am trying to record a video) "camera is currently recording audio. com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox:interactor will not be able to record right now"
What is annoying, once the box comes out it will stop my recording.
Please shed some light anyone.
I am using a Huawei P9+
Thanks
Ok google interrupt with other audio services
Hey,
I had the same problem on the same device.
Only thing that helps me out was disabling the google recognition on every screen in the google settings. Hope that helps you either but its remarkable because i used it a long time very active and now i get this box every time.. really annoying hope there is another solution.
Greets
How can you do that,to disable google recognition on every screen?thx

I had the same issue with my Honor 8 and it would pop-up each time I was trying to record something w/ the video camera (that it ended up messing up some shots).
Long story short, I tried the following suggestion on YouTube:
but this tip didn't work for me... not sure if it's b/c I upgraded my Honor to Android 7.0 (I'm basing this off of my screen choices looking different than the video).
But then I tried the suggestion on this video:
,
and it finally seems to be working... NO MORE POP-UPs! Woo-hoo!
Hope this helps!
Video fixed pop up message but other issue occurred.

So your video got rid of the annoying pop up message, but I found out that this disabled the mic when using the voice commands "OK Google". I had to enable the Google Mic services again in order to use the Google Voice commands again, which caused the pop up message to show up again.

Can you try removing the Google search app and reinstalling? That may work in getting the mic service to work again while keeping the pop-up suppressed.
