[Q] Kitkat or Lollipop for P760? - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Which works better on L9 (P760)? Kitkat or Lollipop? Maybe the older P760 is not suited for Lollipop?
And which rom is most stable?

At present, the best is kitkat . I would recommend [ UNOFFICIAL ] Cyanogenmod 11 for LG P760 / P765 | F2FS | 27-10-2014 artas182x

Kitkat is the best performance!
Lollipop the performance is sucks
The rom Ressuretion Remix (Lollipop) is good, but the performance in app like facebook, whatsapp, browser is not stable.

I wouldn't recommend Lollipop for now for our device, because it has some ram management issues(google's fault).
I recommend you to try rom from my signature, that im using atm.Its most stable and battery friendly kitkat rom out there for our device.

Thanks for de info guys!

One final question guys. Looking at roms suggested, I reed about a sound/stereo-bug(?). Do all alternative -stable- roms still have this bug?

[Q] Need kitkat 4.4 for s3 rooted help plz

i have a rooted device currently i am running android revolution hd on 4.3 . i kno there is no official kitkat for s4 but can anyone link me a stable custom rom running 4.4 with no bugs.
every custom rom has bugs at the moment, camera, bluetooth, video, etc. , you should try omnirom, archidroid, or cm11 for yourself and see what bugs collection bothers you the less
btw, reading the comment, the latest Archidroid seems promising ...

After trying number of Roms, I am sticking to SlimRom. Its clean, fast, reliable and stable.
Back to n00t + SuperSU // if you like touchwiz
SlimKat 8.20 (weekly) // if you like pure android experience -- aka aosp

If you want clean Android:
Either CM 11 or CM 12 (CM12 is more buggy, but it's android Lollipop)
If you don't care about clean android, I would recommend a Custom ROM based on stock, I use eXistenZ ROM because of Stamina mode

Your thread will be probably locked soon, as admins don't like "best ROM" threads, but for now here's my opinion.
I consider dixperia rom a nice one.
I'm using it for 3 months and man, it's fast, stable, has all stock sony stuff + when you use xposed it's everything you need to be happy.

I have lock bootloader and i try only stock based roms. But my favourites are eXistenZ (for functionalities...is very complete...i never seen a stock rom with a lot of functionality implemented by dev),Moonwalker Revolution (very beautiful material design theme of rom and apps...and some good options like walkman and movie in ultra-stamina mode ),Envi-rom (is simple rom but excellent tweeks , updated drivers and very good configuration for best phone experience ), EXR freedom(stock based rom with some extra from z3,tweeks, and dolby sound ) and EXR z3 port (my actual rom... best z3 experience, with superb battery life, dolby digital and some xposed utilities ). Those roms are very stable...for now i want unlock my bootloader because for me is ok i have everything and rock stability, performance and battery life
Stock or Envi-Rom
Stock - it doesnt mess up after 1 year and i can reach absurd uptimes
Envi-Rom - performs amazing vs stock without battery life being effected
I prefer stock Sony rom. and there'll be official lollipop update for our phones soon.

Latest android is 5.1.1 on this phone (not stock). I recommend omni 5.1.1 for a beginner for stability
Last official ROM is based on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. There will be no more official updates (the phone is 4 years old... I hope you bought it for cheap).
The good news is that, despite being old, stock ROM works good, so in most cases there is no need to flash a custom ROM.
If you want to try a newer custom ROM, AFAIK latest one is Lysergic Acid's CyanogenMod 12.1 .
Don't expect it to be as stable as stock ROM, though.

I bought it for 50 €. What about Speed and Overclocking on Custom ROM? Is it faster than Stock ROM for Gaming and Performance? 4.1.2 works perfect without problems.

Then you struck a bargain. :good:
I never tried overclocking and I just started trying custom ROM myself, so I can't help you.
The only thing I can say is that CyanogenMod 12.1 by Lysergic Acid is slightly faster than last official ROM, but it is not as stable.

If you want overclocking, you need to install a custom kernel like dorimanx kernel (up to kitkat) or gustavo (up to lollipop). If you need speed, lollipop isn't for you (still unpolished and unstable). Kitkat is currently the best option for speed, stability and compatibility. As for a good combo for rom and kernel, have a look at my sig

Just latest build of slim(Saber)kat
I think that this i91000 is a good machine... it has a lot of customs roms... kernels.... this phone.... remember me to my old motorola defy plus... an other phone whit a lot of custom roms.... I am very happy whit this terminal....may be not a grand phone whit a big hard... but it has a world of oportunities selcting roms.
Sorry for my bad english.
By the way.... based in a stock rom.. you have Neatrom.... 4.1.2 or based on stock rom has low Consumption and work more light.... then 4.4.4 kitkat y better but spend more battery (no much... you would test it)... for me... the best performance and smothly are the roms based on 4.1.2. but.... but.... but... every phone is a different world.

Best Stable Lollipop ROM?

Hi,
So ive tried BlissPop stable version and temasek's unofficial mod (5.1) and what I have found is that BlissPop is faster than temasek's but I am unhappy with both of these as I get a really hot phone whilst idle/use. I was wondering are there any better roms than these? If not should I stick to KitKat for stability?
I really enjoy the interface of lollipop compared to kitkat which is the main reason I want to have a lollipop rom.
What should I do?
@Man16: no need to ga back to KK. Try newest Slim-build or Euphoria. And if you dare, give them 2d (or more) without GApps.

Try CRdroid 5.1.1 it's stable and doesn't heat up.
Or the official paranoid android lollipop from their website. Although features are limited.

[Q] IS there any stable KK 4.4.4 soft for p760?

[Q] IS there any stable KK 4.4.Xsoft for p760?
If there are any please list which you consider to be most stable, most vanilla aosp/cm.
Or even any nonstock 4.1.X/4.2.X with good stability and performance...
If u search for a 4.4 ROM. I would recommend the cm11 from artas, which I u can find in this forum.
I used it for a long time as well. U just have to live with the bugs.
