iphone has only one icon in the entire boot.... so it looks exactly like the stock iphone

On the OG Evo when you changed pages the picture scrolled. Is there a way to do the same on the 3D?
Also as a side question I saw a boot animation of the ending portal 2 sequence. Does anyone know where I can get this boot animation for my 3D?
pretty sure they disabled it b/c of the carosel, or however the hell you spell it. lol. Im not sure if there is a way to reenable it. I personally dont like wallpaper scrolling but I know alot of people do

Heres the link for the boot animation directly from alpharev http://alpharev.nl/bootanimation.zip
As for the wallpaper scrolling you will need a different launcher like launcher pro. Thats what I use, I missed the scrolling too much. lol

I tried to flash that and it didnt work it just said installing ZIP forever and never did anything else...
I just put together a hackers boot animation based on crash overrides bootup screen from the movie hackers
I made it for my Rogers evo 3d so the zip is Rogers_bootanimation.zip
to use it in a custom rom just rename it Bootanimation.zip
I love this boot up and plan to add more animations to it.
UPDATE: Aug 31. now it loops infinitely

i forgot to upload the bootanimation so here it is
heres the sound to go with it
seeing this thread reminded me of that movie, havent seen it in a long time. gonna have to watch it now.

Is kool but you should make it so that it loops. After the initial boot it just stays static.

Oh my god. Lol
I lived this movie when I was younger. Not realistic at all. But I understood you can't show real hacking because it would be boring for movie goers.
I am totally flashing this! Awesome going man!
Actually, some of the stuff they did in that movie was possible only a few years prior.

Oh yeah. I know about that and the captain crunch whistlers 2600hz tone that triggered the tone the phone made when a coin was dropped. But by the time the movie came out that was well and fixed.
But I'm talking about "hacking the Gibson" and all that stuff. You know what I'm talking about. Lol

So I have this nice 3D rotating Pittsburgh Penguins boot animation from my Captivate days but with the Note 2 , I wish it was a bit bigger.
Every time I edit it to a different resolution it just stops working.

Yes, and also make sure when you rezip it you are not compressing it. STORE ONLY !
try the software "Light Image Resizer"
you can change resolution, add watermark and more

I noticed that the boot animation was too slow. and shutdown too fast on the SM-G900F. modify to your taste, without overdoing it. edit build.prop as its

boot.fps=18
# shutdown animation fps
shutdown.fps=15
made it as my screenshot.

I noticed that on the s4 , s5 bootannimation was faster.I remembered the build.prop in stock s4 .for shutdown I add.
