I don't think reinstalling a system app will fix the issue..
if u have a backup..
U can go for a factory reset..

Factory reset didn't work and i read on other forums that you could fix it that way...
Might just need to restock with Odin if you can't find someone with another rooted phone that can share the apk with you. Usually it would be easy to just download a rom and grab the app from it, but does not seem to be anything available for your phone. At least not here on xda.

Any help? my provider is T-mobile, If someone can support me in providing me these files, I would be really grateful.
Just download the stock Rom and take it from there. I am no longer on stock so I can't be of assistance, I'm sure the whitehawkx version still had the apk

I take it you haven't flashed anything yet? A stock rom would be something like the one redrum posted. It's not completely stock though, for that I would have to use Odin and just restore it back to factory settings. I highly recommend you google the basics to this though. There's a lot that goes into these roms and a lot that can go wrong. Before you do anything make sure you read up on it and completely understand the process or you can end up with an expensive paperweight. Use the same rule as a carpenter would (measure twice, cut once) but with reading the steps do doing anything on these phones

I flashed the 4.2 camera .zip onto my phone using mobile odin with success, but want rid of it as it is not fully functional. How can i remove it and the accompanying gallery app? Have tried multiple methods of normal app uninstall etc.

He is getting on phone:

Or similar. Im third, so there can be some mistakes.
Its sth with busybox, but i dont know what.
Maybe we need only to install busybox or reflash soft? Or its permanent and only service helps?

Why dont you reflash firmware? A fresh install?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
unfortunately you have given little and vague information.
What rom is he running ?
Can he getinto recovery or download mode ?
If he can get into one of these 2 modes, then a simple reflash may solve the problem.
If he cannot get into these modes, then you may need to send it in for repair.
He didn't mess with the EFS folder, did he?

Odp: Brick after simlock
I dont know to much too.
He is using stock ics firmware as "normal" user.
And u gave me an answer that firmware reflash can hel. Thanks. We will try it
EDIT: Ok friends friend dont want to wait and gave device to service paying 60pln (~15€, ~20$) for reflash and it helped.

when u wiped out the data all the clashes or unknown cache and data were removed..

So always keep a copy and backup of ur data and rom from now on..:highfive:

NEVER GIVE UP TOO EARLY AND EASILY....
WE ARE HERE TO HELP AS ALWAYS..
the help is much appreciated as I had been hacking at it for two days. it was not easy finding the firmware but I eventually found it and it is now backed up in a safe place with a proper name. Tablet is running like brand new. although I like my new Nexus 7 a lot more. learning that I just had to install the firmware and not a ROM made all of the difference. I was about to give up but I have never given up in the past and I'm not about to start. I was a little more patient but I was finally able to get it back up thanks to your advice.

you have to register and it will take you to an external site for download. Make sure you get a magnifying glass and get the full model number of your tablet before going to download. it is legit so go ahead and download the file for USA

You need to provide more details like what phone and on which update? There's a good chance you'll probably need to flash the stock firmware.

Well it really helps to know which update you were on, but this https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6xAzFVJYc3YUEFOV2JNUkxZUk0/preview recovery doesn't have the white screen issue, which has been discussed on MANY threads here on XDA about it and what to do. A little searching goes a long way...
