Hi,
I have flashed stock rom 4.3 on my galaxy s3 and when i want to call anyone it says" not registered on network" but my imei is ok and i can make emergency calls.
Can anyone help me how can i fix it?

Hi alex123213:
I was reading your post, have you checked that your APN settings are the correct ones? You can check inside Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Access point names.
The SIM is placed correctly?
I found a solution on a site, but I don't know id I can post this on the thread, so if you want send me a PM.

i have a m250l..the service provider here dont know how to open the esn thing..i dont know what that means..i wanna use it here..can anybody give an advice about this..what should i do..do i have to install a custom rom?
this is my first android phone..i dont even know how to flash..or what flash means..plz help me..

dude..i also have a m250l and i bought it there in philippines..this unit cant have a Signal of any service provider coz i think GSM and CDMA has different frequency when it comes to signal..same here..the new service provider here works only on cdma..one of my friend is working in that telecom and told me that they need to upgrade their towers in order for them to make the gsm works...
anyways..when i went back to have my job back in US i had a connecting flight in japan and i notice that there was A bar on my signal but there is a small r (means roaming probably) in the signal bar...
i flash this phone already and had a EE31 on my m250l..
now the problem..i dont know how to access the meid or the prl or make the qpst work on my pc..it says that it cant detect my s2 on qpst but when i open kies, the program can detect it..i also tried the cdmatool but they dont have the setup for this korean s2 model...
i read some of the page in this forum that says about buying another phone and transfer the meid or esn or prl on m250l?
is that possible?
can anyone help me again to configure my meid or prl for m250l

How to get data connection on other provider? or 1x/evdo setting?. Please anyone can configure it? Just get text and voice . On ICS get errors on sending txt.

after it I have not got OPERATOR SERVICE.
(I9300XXUFME7_I9300OXAFME7_I9300XXUFME7_HOME.tar.m d5)
CARD IS NOT REGISTERED TO THE NETWORK.
Only Emergency calls. SIM card is OK.
signal is right indicate at the top corner.
IMEI at the telephone is correct.
A can´t call.
Please help me.

I installed a rom (pureHD) and not get a signal, I show only emergency calls are Orange Romania. Vr have a solution? Thanks
Same problem here. First rooted and then installed another rom and now it says only emergeny calls.
I have upgraded to kitkat though. but still no recognizing of a provider. It says when i want to call : not registered to a network.
1 minute ago i did register to a network but still the same.
Familiar to anyone ? Thanx for the help.
One thing still....
I did use KIES and installed 3 times the stock rom of the S3 before rooting and installing a kitkat new rom.
Still not registered to a network and of course only emergency calls.

Guys this is one of the most asked questions in this forum your efs as been changed because of the new efsv1 and efsv2 issue look in the stickies section you will find your answer..(clue you need to change your baseband or restore your backed up efs)

i look in a similer post but they are not for galaxy s5
i change my rom in my device galaxy s5 t mobile and when i try to make a phone call i get a message that says not registered on network
i didnt back up my efs folder.
the rom is good and i see the IMEI number on my phone *#06# is the same imei that write on the sticker on the back of my phone.
what do i need to do?

What carrier are you on? Depending on your carrier, is your new ROM set on the correct APN?

Are you using a TouchWiz based rom, if so go to Settings -> More Networks -> Network Operators -> Search Now, and see if your carrier shows up.
