Hello!
I found this battery on ebay;
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2850mAh-Rec...essori_Cellulari_Batterie&hash=item418dac23e6
What do you guys think? Is it safe to use these kinds of batteries or should one only use original Samsung batteries?
It would probably work, but the question is does it have the nfc chip

I'm pretty sure the original extended battery of 2500mah will last longer.
that pretty much fake. Especislly with chinese writing on it. Been there done that.. The actual 2500 mah extended battery kit from samsung is now available
fake
in such implementations, the nominal capacity is MUCH different from the truth, most likely this bat ain't bigger than 2k mah.
Avoid at any cost...
How about this -> 2500mAH galaxy alpha extended battery kit

You mean like this one? http://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...08S-G8509V-etc-Phones/311977_32311937732.html
If it was me, I would try it with the regular charger, but I wonder how safe non-OEM batteries are with the Qi wireless chargers. I got the back plate and I am hoping that the Spigen Neo Hybrid case works with the charger. All the cheap cases I picked up in Korea won't fit.
I've personally had mixed reviews on non-OEM batteries. They tend to hold more juice the first few months, but then they tend to slip below the average capacity after a year of a regular battery, or at least the ones I had for my old S2 did.
Thanx for your response.

Anybody have one of these from HYPERION?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hyperion-AT...740016?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3f1d03fbf0
I do. I don't think it's actually 5000mAh though. It only gives me a few extra hours over stock.

interesting...
i purchased a 5200 off ebay and i kind of feel the same way you do. that damn mugen is too expensive - i'm about to cut the label off and see whats in this exntended battery for real
I bought the one of these for my GN7000 international note..
Worked great in there.. lasted 2 work days instead of one..
Then I sold the international and bought the i717 LTE ATT version.
I use this same battery in the ATT note only without the 7000 back and only the rubber over case..
Works great and I get the same long 2 day battery time with it!!!
good luck.

I'm considering doing the same. There's a review on amazon that says it's only 3000, two 1500s glued together o.0

If you are looking for an extended battery I can recommend this one but it will make you phone a lot thicker.
If you just want to replace the OEM battery it's pretty inexpensive on Amazon.

This eBay item has $2.50 shipping to Europe and is supposed to be the OEM battery, which it looks like based on the part number and the markings on the back. There's no way to guaranty that but the seller has an almost 99% positive rating.
Based on this post, I would stay away from the Andida battery.

do you think this one is original too http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Battery...517927?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item1e6fab53a7 ?

No. It doesn't say OEM in the listing title and the part number is different.

i got the pair of anker 1900 batteries plus the universal charger for $30 and i couldnt be happier. dont have to have extended back and never run out of juice. plus i rarely even have to use the second one, these are good batteries well worth the money imo
it's better then the stock battery?
I have been looking around for an extended battery case for the 6400 mAh Hyperion battery.
Has anyone found one that fits this note 3 with this extended battery?
pretty sure there aren't any at the moment. if there are, Hyperion would be the place to get them. if you wouldn't mind, could you post a pic of what the note 3 looks like with the battery? i'm thinking about getting one

I will when I get it. I haven't ordered one yet because I didn't know if there was a protective case for it

Keep in mind that with the Note 3 NFC is actually built into the battery itself. So you will lose NFC if you use a non Samsung battery.
i ordered one. should be here in a couple days. i'll post some pictures as soon as I get it in! and I don't really use NFC much. the extended battery will be used when i leave down for a weekend or something like that. in any case, i'll post pics, and hopefully we'll see a case soon
This battery does support NFC
Hey guys rather than ordering a Hyperion or Mugen battery for your Note 3, which they advertise at 6400 mAh and they end up being close to 3500 mAh. Why dont you guys order a ZeroLemon battery? The Hyperion is about $65+, Mugen is close to $85+ and the ZeroLemon is around the $40 mark PLUS its 10,000 mAh and they GUARANTEE the capacity of the battery with a 180 days warranty. Cant go wrong. I got one for my Note 2 and was not disappointed what so ever! The Note 3 with my heavy usage gives me about a day of use so i don't think I'm going to invest in any extended battery.
that big of a battery just seems like it would make the phone too bulky for me. I wonder what it would make the phone look like? The Hyperion battery is $35 and others said its good.

Pretty sure the ZeroLemon battery for the Note 3 isn't out yet. Been keeping an eye out on Amazon for it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
No its not out yet. Should be this month.
If you want to see how it looks, here you go. It comes included in the Korean Galaxy Note 3 models.

There are some variants. Mine came with a 5 pin micro USB port, but the ones sold worldwide will likely have USB 3.0 port. I wonder if that extra hole for USB 3.0 is wired. The power adapter I think isn't any different than the Note 2's power adapter.
Sick commercial. . Kinda wanna trade for the BLACK Note 3 now lol
There is also this link:

click on "& more"
You can see the charger and other accessories such as the wireless charging stuff and desktop dock...which is probably an updated smart dock with USB 3.0 pins.

Has anyone tried these batteries before?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-4200mAh-...for-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-3-N9000-/201066103414
I'm not sure how many mah is in the stock battery but 4200mah sounds a like a lot! And it's standard size, not fat.
My phone lasts all day without problems but I want to buy a spare one for traveling, so I don't have to be one of those iphone people at the airport hogging all of the outlets! hahaha
The standard Note 3 battery is rated at 3200mAh so 4200mAh is an extra 1000mAh (+31%) rather a lot to claim for the same dimensions.
I would be very doubtful about any battery the same size that claimed more than +5% to +%10

Not a bad price if they perform as well as the standard battery. The added charger is a plus!

Looks like the listing is gone, but i got the anker set from amazon and it works great, it's at 3200mah like the stock battery and it last me as long as the stock one and feels about the same quality, it's 29.99 so 10 bucks more but i've always been satisfied with anker products, here is the link anker batteries and amazon will let you return it, good luck
Think these TQTHL A+ brand:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-3900mAh...Galaxy-Note-3-N9000-N9002-Phone-/321424073342
Are any good?
I purchased these batteries (the gold ones) back when I had a GS2. They, like these quoted about 30% higher mAh rating than the OEM batteries. My experience was they lasted about the same as the OEM. I think they just fudge the numbers for marketing purposes. The batteries are certainly cheaply made, I had the top terminal plates come loose on two of the ones I owned. When I bought them they did not have NFC support like the OEM battery, but they made no claim for it either. I used them for about 2 or three years with no real issues other than the terminal plates which was fixed with a bit of tape.
If you need a cheap battery to back up your existing batteries I would say they do the job. If you are looking for a higher capacity battery look elsewhere.
I would only trust stock samsung made batteries and anker 3200mah for slimness, too many fakes and fire hazards with those other posers claiming to be more. ZeroLemon and Mugen are the go to companies for extreme battery life tho they do add extra bulk to the phone, i myself prefer the added weight it gives the note 3 as well as the protection and extended battery life it provides.
Theres also those rechargable battery packs that go for around $25-40

The 'Gold' batteries are BS!
Check out this 2 pack + charger from Lumsing. Good reviews and less than $20 assuming you have prime or can hit the free ship requirement. I bought these + anker and can't tell the difference from stock.
http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-B...qid=1406396292&sr=8-2&keywords=lumsing+note+3
If you can't hit the shipping minimum, then get anker from eBay for $26 with free ship. Sales tax to CA.

I rather buy that 2500 mah battery kit than this brick
Lol. It is fairly ugly looking.
I just use a spare battery which is
3720 Mah .
Odd though- because two Alpha Batteries are nowhere near as thick as this thing.
Is there a small piece of Pizza in there or a money clip maybe ?
If it could do wireless charging, it would sell so much more.
