i'm searching for a cheap 10' tablet with android, with the possibility to root and install a custom rom.
I found the Asus TF103C-1B040A, is a good tablet for that? Or a tf300t?
There is a ROM for it based on Lollipop?
If you have other advice, please tell me. My range is 150 / 200 €.

hi all, i am new to this part of XDA. i am enquiring about the archos 70 250gb tablet i have just bought.
i am used to flashing android ROMS on various android phones and of course the 1st thing i wanted to do after buying my new toy was to root is asap!!
can anyone tell me what is the best root method for the 2.4.1.9 firmware, can i use urukdroid 1.6?
also, is there a way to change the icons on the device? eg i use shorter cut on my android phones to change the icons but cant use shorter cut on the archos as it doesnt work, any ideas?

Welcome! My first suggestion for root would be check the development page. It is all laid out there. If you don't find it with in a few min use the search. I personally suggest installing the SDE from the archos site. Good luck and happy hacking!

yesterday I got my Sanei N90 tablet. it's a pretty good tablet, especially when you look at the price.
I love to root and use custom roms on my devices, but can't seem to find any cwm or other recovery for this one. can someone help me out?

I bought some days ago a DOOGEE DG800 MTK6582 Kitkat Android (at comebuy.com bought) and I want to install the cyanogenmod. This mod doesn't support my device and I also can't root my smartphone, framaroot doesn't supports it too.

I just wanted to ask if you ever managed to find a way to root your dg800?
I bought one recently and have also come up short on all the methods I have cone across thus far. . I am also on a Mac so a PC free method would be ideal. So just figured I'd ask if you ever figured it out.

I own a doogee valencia myself and I have rooted my phone.
The flashtool that doogee supplies doesnt work very well in my opinion, try to find some other tool.
Also i would recommend the recovery.img of the site needrom.com and then the rom kitkat next from bassrockers.
This way you can install superuser and root the phone.
Cyanogenmod is not yet ported by anyone (I also cant do it), so we have to wait for a really smart dude that will port cyanogenmod for us!
