I want to tweak with xml in launcher like apex/nova/apex but whenever I tried I failed...
I can't decompile those launchers

for decompile and recompile you'll need a ics framework-res.apk
You need to install the framework files on pc
apktool.jar if framework-res.apk
apktool.jar if SystemUi.apk
After this you'll be able to decompile
apktool.jar d Nova.apk

Nova Launcher 2.3.3 decompile Squashed!!!!
Gents,
I have been working on this for literately hundreds of hours. I had to fix hundreds of xml's to make this work.
This is Nova Launcher 2.3.3 that you can now successfully decompile and compile.
Now we can all Mod and Theme Nova Launcher!!!

Be advised you will get a little love note from the original developer in Nova Settings LOL!!!
PS: Mine is already themed to my ASU theme. I have also included a Purple Green theme.

Hi all,
I'am using a Nova Launcher and I'm very proud and
i'm using the best launcher and it is super fast and user friendly.
the problems are;
* i can't add Time/Date, Weather, Walkman and any other default widget.
is there a way to install a widget using a market launcher specially Nova Launcher?
and by the way, if i flash this Honami Home V2 By @niaboc79 can i still install Nova Launcher and use the widgets of the Honami of niaboc79?

try downloading these widgets (second post) --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2021332 they might work on Nova launcher cause they ain t system apps, just install as normal apk.

After I install that the launcher is broken, and i cannot remove it

Yes it should work . i m a lg g6 user under android 8.0.0 i have updated the home luancher ver. 7.0.34 . also you should update home selector apk https://apkdot.com/apk/lg-electronics-inc/lg-home-selector/lg-home-selector-7-0-3/

Do not help. Force close even with the home selector.
It really works, you will just need to be updated to the last, or previous firmware. In my case I have the version US99820G, before I used to have US99820F and it properly works.
That's my first feedback, I don't really know how to share the screenshot xD.

I cannot work either
And I update setting, SystemUI to last version, all broken now. Haha, I have to factory reset but the setting cannot work .
Do not use lg default theme with lg home7. use any custom theme or inbuilt dark theme. Home will work fine

and install the LG home 7.0.38
it can work now
maybe i found the crash reason
if the theme chose LG, Signature, Lightwave
it would be broken
and if i chose high contrast or blak theme and it would work successfully

Download the last version of your firmware device, in my case I have the US99820G, and it works fine.

Aren't the latest versions of asus deskclock, calendar, weather, gallery, contacts+phone & calculator directly usable as user apps? I'm using them on stock rom! Why the magisk module? Is there any ZenUI6.0 integration? All these apps can be downloaded from the ZenFone 6 thread and these, are directly usable on stock ROM without the need for root / magisk....

This is extracted from Rom which has library files included .those from the Zenfone thread aren't working or installing in stock I made them to work for stock you can try Magisk and share ,I won't
Both of you guys first read each other's posts.
In the op the apps are extracted from a magisk module, the apps are installable and doesn't require root.
The second post writer thought it is a magisk module and said they are installable no need of magisk.
The third post writer (op) thought the other person is asking for magisk and refused to make one.
Seriously guys use Google translate if you don't know English.

This is not corrupted its due to the apps are not compatible fully with our device .I installed some of them by porting but its all crashing .. the apps I posted above were working only

I'll second everyone asking for a port of ZenUI. I've been side loading the old ZenUI APK into every phone I've used, including my latest phone running Android 10, but it's getting harder and harder. ZenUI is the only launcher I've found other than the old school Samsung TouchWiz ones that actually lets you arrange your apps on a grid in any way you want.
