[Q] Boot loader/bios Info for x86 android devices - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
is there any general information about "how booting on a x86 Android device is working"? Is there a bios involved?
I ask because I like to hack my Asus MemoPad7 176cx. I'm familiar with Linux on normal x86 devices, but I'm missing those information about BIOS, UEFI a.s.o on Android devices.
Could somebody help me?
thanks
Stefan

What kind of information would you like to get ?
The only problematic part is bluetooth, because it's connected
to an undocumented ASIC, but with some effort it can be solved.
The rest of the hardware is like on Blueangel.
so I can download Blueangel distro and boot it on my Himalaya?!

Distribution != kernel. The blueangel kernel drivers need some
GPIO/irq and address space changes.
This works is going on.
How can i boot linux on a himalaya with wm2003. I've read some documentations but I found nothing that works correct. I try booting linux with the linexec program but it only shows a screen with "Hello World" or it hangs on and resets after removing the battery (there seems to be no other way)
any progress ?

Any chance for a Remix version for a Chrombook running NVIDIA Tegra K1 CD570M-A1 Quad

It would be great to have a possibility to run Remix on Such a Chromebook
Nope.
Requirements for Remix OS:
1) x86 64-bit system
2) EFI/Legacy Boot system
If you have it, then you can try it. If not, there is NO CHANCE OF IT HAPPENING.
I hope you understand, I dont want you to have any doubts in your minds or have any impossible expectations.

I see that I have posted the question on the wrong thread. Sorry

MeeGoPad T07 -> Android Possible?

Hello to you all!
I have got a new Meegopad T07 and I thought it would somehow be possible, to install android on ist.
I already heard of people experimenting with Remix OS, but it has problem with sound and wifi.
My idea was to get a android Image from a device, that has the same processor. The Meegopad has a Intel X5 Z8300. I looked and found a Tablet PC: Teclast X16 Pro. For this device I also found a costom firmware on this side: Ask me for the link because I can't post it. Else try to search in google for "teclast x16 custom firmware" and take the first link.
But before I do something I wanted to talk with you a little bit about my idea.
First of all: Has someone a idea about the other hardware from the meegopad or the techlast tablet? Does the same processor mean, that it also has the same wifi-, bluetooth-, usb-, sound- etc. controller? How do you think?
If I would install the image: Do i have to install some android drivers? In the link above you see there some drivers that are to install. Do I have to install them? And if yes: do I install them like in this tutorial? Sorry for these questions but I installed till today only cfw on phones and there I never had to install any drivers only the image.
And my last question: How good do you think are my chances to make android runable on my device?
Thanks and have a nice day

Hi, did you get it to work on your device?

help me install windows 11 on my s9+

please help me indtall windows 11 on my device
Not sure if serious or trolling...
What gave you the idea that you can install Windows on an Android phone?
Actually s9+ supports win11. I have one hanging with no use. And I'm willing to try W11 on it
Renegade project, and UEFI is what you need to research first.
