Hi all,
I've just unpacked my Slatebook 10 x2 two days ago (don't ask me why I've waited so long...); it runs 4.2 (I didn't install the 4.3 OTA update) and I'd like to install Maya Mod 2.
I've rooted my tablet (thanks Towelroot v1) and I've checked it thanks to Root checker: root OK.
Now, I'm trying to install TWRP with Flashify or Rashr or TWRP Manager but it seems any of them could achieve it. Is there any TWRP for the 4.2 version? Should I first unlock bootloader? But how could I do it then without the HP cable? Otherwise, could you tell me how I have to do in order to install TWRP on my tablet? (after TWRP is installed, I know how to install a custom rom since I've already done it on my Asus TF300)

Is anyone else having issues with the touch not functioning after a few minutes of use? I know this was an issue before with the Slatebook X2 but i was hoping that MAYAMOD would fix it.

Hi everyone,
I've just sucessfully flashed Mayamod 2.0 on my Slatebook. Seems to run pretty smooth.
Rooted it with the latest KingO Root (on 3rd try), flashed twrp with rashr and so on.
Just one thing, I have a green line on top of my screen now. Any idea how to get rid of it?
Xposed Framework with Gel Settings and Gravitybox is currently installed.

Hello, I have a Nextbook tablet model Next8p12 with the RK2912 chipset. I have installed this rom but I am having issues getting the touch screen to work and the color is off. I am fairly new to this tablet and its design on installing roms as it is different. I am wondering if I am installing the correct rom for it or if I'm in the wrong place.

Hi Oma I have Iball 6309i tab its rooted and functional. I have seen that you have already made the CWM but that was as a reply to dead tabs. My tab is alright should my process & CWM be the same.I mean should I also flash the entire firmware or can I just flash the recovery file?Also I have seen that there is no scope of backing up the stock recovery as instructed in the official Clockwork site where they instructed to use the zip to temporary load CWM then backup the stock and then again flash permanently. I am a safety first kind of guy hence I wanted to consult with an expert like you.And in case I brick my tab in the process, I would also like to know the procedure to restore the tab using the .img Rom dumps.Thank you in advance

I need a kernel for a Easypix Junior 4.0 Tablet. Thats the newer one of this series.
Its a 7" 800x600, 1,2Ghz, 1GBRAM, 4GB Flash. RK2918.
I unpacked the Stock Firmware.
There are 2 available.
The older have a kernel inside.
The newer have no kernel. It is in the boot.img.
They are not working with the oma-Roms ive tried.
Who can make me a kernel.?

using the NRT to unencrypt my N9. used it on my n6 earlier and it went flawless. For some reason, it's not working on the N9. all it does is basically reboot. I tried to do it manually. no go. followed the instructions, when i try and do a format user data through NRT, it doesn't do it. but again it works fine on the N6. Im not even sure its properly flashing the kernel(no encrypt) that it says it is. the toolkit says it all went perfect.....but it lies. I love NRT, greatest thing that ever happened to nexus, but this one has me stumped. probably cause im a noob. whatever. Will try a couple of other things. So, i went the NRT route, no go, flashed it through the fastboot flash tool in NRT, then did the format userdata too in NRT, no go, am trying one more method that I tried with the N6 that didn't work but I had progress with, who knows. thanks ahead of time for anyone who helps out.
I even flashed stock and unrooted (stock to 5.0.1) and then went back and immediately tried to use the no encrypt option, and nothing happened. it went through the process and said it worked but as soon as it booted, my notifications from my account all popped up so I knew instantly there wasn't actually any user data formatted. sure enough not here is the live log in a text file on this post and a screen shot of tablet details.

Feel silly for asking this but I updated from LM4YX TO LM4YI using the toolkit today (mistakenly selected my current build as LM4YI instead of LM4YX) and now my N9 only reboots into recovery every time. Tried repeating the process a couple of time but no luck. Hoping there is a quick solution to this. Thanks.

Tried to restore stock too many times I guess, process failed midway during one of them and device is hard bricked. First time ever this has happened to me.

I just own a A7600 H, a smart buy!
Only it came with 4.4.2 and i would love to downgrade to 4.2, anyone could do that?
p.s. forgetting to mention that I could get root using Kingoapp

if you want to root it use something called vroot

i´ve bought the same this month use kingoo root from this xxx.chip.xx sry can´t post links, but take google search kingoo root,
than look for
Kingo Root 1.3.5
it works good, than download super su from google market, install exept binary and reboot test root with installing busybox from market, if you get root than uninstall the kingooroot apk, then install super su to system (open su and scroll down settings) can take several times, than youre done, for rw sd-card1 take the sd fix for kitkat from googel store

I have an HP 10 tablet(similair to slate 7) running 4.4.2. It is rooted, but it hasn't updated due to the ota not recognizing the root scripts. I wanted to update to lollipop(Android 5), but couldn't find specific roms for may model. I saw some HP touch stuff though, but not sure if that would work. This tablet is a quad core 1.2ghz, ARM v7 processor rev 3 (v71). Since rooting, it no longer keeps its state, and if it goes dead, is turned off, or reboots, it defaults back to factory settings, and I have to start all over with installing my back up (via titanium). It is time to update and make it more stable. any help?

Hi! I'm looking into rooting my phone with xposed, but I'm not sure about compatibility. It's a blu studio c 5.0 HD, running stock kitkat. The processor is a 1.3ghz cortex a 7, and the GPu is a mali-400mp2. It has 1 gb of ram and 4 gb rom. Does anyone know if it is compatible with xposed? I would hate to brick my phone! hello, i have a problem when installing xposed. the first batch file run well but the second batch file it just stuck on the line "connecting" and didnt do anything, my phone didnt reboot or install neither. i have tried 2 times but it not work. my phone is asus tooi lollipop btw. thank for your hard work.
