I have read some posts but didn't find a full guide.
Can someone please post a detailed step by step guide on how to decrypt nexus 9?
I am rooted and have latest twrp. It would be great to post links to the necessary files as well.

Ok, I don't want to look lazy. May be I post the steps and someone correct me.
1. I install modified twrp from usbhost and use flashify.
2. Install modified boot from recovery or fastboot
3. Do factory reset from Settings
4. Install a rom / kernel that has no encryption
Are these steps correct?

I'm newbiew on this forum and I recently spend some time to restore stock rom on my phone LG-P350. I found difficult to find the right rom and because now I know how to do it I want to share with you.

Hi,
I actually use this method to flash my LG-P350 and when I check under Settings/About Phone I can see the right version that I just flashed but I don't know why everything seem to be as it was before flash it and I still cannot choose italian language because is not available in the list. I think the rom is right but it seems it's not flashing correctly.
When the flash finish the phone doesn't restart automatically but I have to press power on. Is it this the problem?

Standard method is CF Root 6 .4 with CWM recovery .
Or newer
with stock recovery only

Follow the one in cf-auto root (if you want to keep stock recovery) or cf-root 6.4 (if you want custom recovery). Both are in the development forum. In addition YouTube also got videos with instructions.

problem with odin

I've installed ArchiDroid V2.3.3. all is fine expect the camera. I've been the hunderds of posts and seen the update camera fix.
My question: How do I install the OmniRom-Fixed_camera_Lib_for_focus_and_flash_V1.1 do i use Odin or philz-recovery, and is there a step by step to update.
Your help will be most appreciated.

Your choice of user name is of concern, I'd suggest you read and follow the available guides on how to use custom recovery to flash zip files.

You must flash Zip files with Philz... It's too easy, just flash it without any wipe or something

Hi. First step is to check if your phone is rooted!
Second step is to check if your phone has custom recovery like TWRP or CWM!
If your phone has custom recovery is good.
First step is to copy the rom on your SD Card!
Then follow the litle tutorial from the original post !
If your phone has no custom recovery you must flash one !
You can download custom recovery from Carliv Post!
After flashing TWRP, follow the litle tutorial from the original post !

Last question about custom recoveries from the post You mentioned. Theres writtenthat they are for model 2013 and mine have 07/2014 on the box. Are these recoveries still good for me?
losing IMEI frequently
i got the ROM from needrom site hope that doesn't make much difference.
flashed it no problem whatsoever.
problem arised when i tried meteos app for repartitioning.
followed every instruction such as granted root,selected 2.77gb for 4/8gb model.
but wipe in recovery was failure,
then also went ahead with 1st reboot everything was fine got what i needed but after 2nd reboot it always loses IMEI.
i flashed miui6 on vibe03.
evrytime i lost IMEI i used to recover it back by deleting corrupt nvram folder after mobileuncletool fails to sent AT command.
can anyone tell me where am i doing it wrong or why am i losing IMEI frequently ??

With proper scatter file recoveries are ok !

Hi. Because you write your IMEI's on one file you will lose them every time you change firmware!
Your file must be writen on an hardware adress that will remain unwritten on reflash !
That happent because you used an repartition file that was not compatibile with hardware adresses !
On every phone is a part of your ROM (Read Only Memory) that MUST remain untouch! There is the hardware SN, IMEI, and other information!
Using this tools will corupt that part of the ROM.
Try to rewrite with : MTK Droid Tools,SN Write Tool,IMEI Modificator,IMEI and SN Write Tool,NVRAM Backup Restore Wo Root Shell, etc etc.

I'm really confused searching around and will help other users with the same problem.
