Ok! well I´m having a hard time trying to make my coby MID1045 tablet comes back to live... its a real challenge....
first the tablet just shows up the COBY logo an keep stuck there,¨easy¨ was my first thought, shut off and try using the recovery mode...... nothing happend... well it´s more dead than I expected... no problem lets use the fastboot mode...
HERE the things becomes weird, using fastboot livesuit can actually recognize it and flash rom (if i had one!), I tryed to flash a MID1042.img but the results was a black screen going on and off....
then i thought well livesuit can see the tablet, lets use fastboot in a cmd to flash jutst the recovery, use (fastboot devices) and nothing.... weird.....
at this point i see my tablet as a really BIG paperweight...
thinking like a pro lets try to make a rom from a dump... well im noob I CAN´T! Now after like 3 weeks searching for a stock firmware to flash via livesuit I GIVE UP! :crying::crying:

I have a Coby Kyros MID7042 and I rooted it with a custom ROM using LiveSuite to put it on there during upgrade mode. I read on a forum that the ROM would work on ALL xx42 Kyros's. My step brother bought a Coby Kyros 1042 because he liked mine so much. I tried the same process with it but for some reason, it won't, officially BOOT. It keeps turning on with a dim backlight over and over. I can turn it off if I hold the power long enought but I'm pretty much stuck unless I can find a way to either flash the stock ROM back on or somehow get the custom ROM that everyone says works on it to work. Please help : /
Hi I have an Allwinner A10 clone (Kurio 7), it is designed for kids but otherwise a standard android tablet.
After hours of googling I rooted and installed CWM & Gapps (not included in the stock ROM). So far so good.
The stock ROM was causing issues with some apps, it needed to go.
I flashed CM10 and it worked but no touch screen. It needed a compatibility flash to make it work. You can guess what's coming. I picked the wrong one and now the device does the following:
Reboot loop
Black screen (backlight though)
PWR+Vol up no longer gets to recovery
Vibrates constantly between reboots (due to wrong patch I'm guessing)
ADB picks up the device for a split second between reboots but "adb reboot recovery" does nothing. Even when using wait command.
Tried "fastboot flash recovery cwm.img" after wait command, no luck.
Is there anything else I can try?
I fixed this.
I used the GoClever TAB A73 ROM and instructions in their support/update/download area.
Sorry I cannot post links as I am still a newbie.
Anyway flashing using Livesuit this fixed the problem.

The LiveSuit pack is there for download, as well as the roms.
But there are three different 4.0 roms to choose from, and also a couple of 2.3 roms. I dont know which one he did use.
Since your Kurio 7 is bricked anyway, I guess you can try one by one and see if any of them work.
Please tell which one, if you succeed.

How did I brick the tab?
This is a good question. I had lost the charger and I tried with another one with a higher voltage. This ruined the batery. And when I found the charger the tablet show a strange behaviour. It was trying to start but reboot before to finish. I was able to finish a full boot but the batery only works for a few minutes. After solve the batery problem, now I can start the tablet without problem about the voltage but, it seems like all this failed attemps to boot have made some damage somewhere.
What I have now?
The tablet start. It show's the trekstor logo. After that it show's the android logo, and that's all. It stuck's looping in the android logo.
What I have tried?

This method not working in my tablet even when it was not bricked. (I tried it, when I was trying to get root access a month ago).
Power + Volumen (-) gets nothing at all. It's start normally. (and loop in my currently situation)
Power + Volumen (+) gets this screen http://cdn.howtogeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/android-recovery-mode.jpg and anything happens no matter what button I'm pressing even with the custom recovery in the sdcard.
2.- I tried to flash the tablet, but I didn't find information about how to do it and trust me, I have searched a lot.
I triend with this software: "Amlogic Image Burning Tool v.1.6.2.2" and this firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2039964 . But I get the error "find no upgrade config, please load it manually". I'm pretty sure I doing something wrong, but I have no experience with this software or flashing in general.

hello (first of all sorry with this post is in the wrong page im new in the forums) , My tablet coby kyros Mid 7010 is having trobble instaling any application ,even from market, it just frezzes screen and goes blank FOR A LONG TIME like sometimes over an hour .i am trying to flash recovery image and another frimware to manage to fix but no sucess at all. the IUW doesnt recognize the tablet at all . (sry for english i can retry explain with not clear enough.(the tablet is rooted )

Greetings to all from Venezuela. I have a problem with a Contixo Q103 tablet that I was messing with.
I was trying to flash a custom recovery to it and i ended up bricking the tablet. I did it accidentally with a program called Zeus Tool, wich loaded a recovery to it but the thing is that i didn't notice that it was for an A10 Processor. The tablet only shows now the Contixo logo and stays there forever.
I have searched on the internet for several days for the stock .img file for this tablet for flashing with Phoenix Suit or PhoenixCard but i haven't found anything.
I really need your help!!!
