thanx in aadvance ,,
benzox fota
fota is used to boot roms
[/COLOR]about t.v out some rom claim that t.v out is working but i dont have t.v out cable to confirm
but i will confirm this within week bcoz one of my friend buy wave2 and he also have t.v out so wait
to boot multirom there is fota available
u can use benzox fota in which u can boot
1.bada+android(loop)+android(sd)
or
2.bada+android(sd)
or
3.bada+android(loop)
or
4.android(nand)+android(sd)
boot using key combination or there is an interactive menu also available try it yourself
loop=android on same memory as bada (virtual partition)
sd=android on external memory card
nand=android on nand i.e. internal memory which replace bada i.e. after nand rom u cant Boot bada
speed:
1.sd with class10 memory card is fastest
2.nand faster than class 4 sd card but slower than class10
3.loop is slowest rom

higher class means high speed
on sd card its class is written in a circle
for class 10 sometimes it is written like "U1" one is written inside U and called as ultra
our wave support only upto U1 which has approx 48mb/s speed
about t.v. out may be tomorrow i will reply when i goto college and ask my friend about t.v out coz he has t.v. out and wave2 both

Give a chance to tj_style kernel. It works perfectly for me. I am using it with stock ROM 2.2.2. (I am also using link2sd to move all aplications to SD card.)

hi
every one has their own kind of liking so all i can say is im happy and it serves my purpose u can try it and see if it satisfies ur requirement
but im quite sure u will like it as on using the combo u wont have the low phone storage problem as all ur aps get stored on ur SD and u will have enough free space on ur phone.
IF u have CWM on ur Pad and have taken a Nand backup then try it if u dont like it u can always go back to the stok rom via nand restore

I already tried all combinations. BTW, I have only 108 Mb of memory with your combo, when I install all apps that I need. With the combo that I suggest I have 99 MB of memory, so 9Mb make no difference for me.
Link2SD is better because you have full control over process and you can decide which apps go on SD card and which of them you need in memory.
Besides that, your combo is "shorten" for full version of the app Documents to Go that I really need all the time.
why there is no data2ext or data2sd rom for gakaxy ace?????
Rom? Its ext-sd lol
regards,
•ƒγяύs ργяσ™•
We have DTA2SD if you know what it means lol
Herpderp Defy.
i know what data2sd and dta2sd means....
but i just want to ask is there any rom that supports data2sd or is there any method to use my sd-ext partition for install application and their data on sd-ext
The answer is all over the market and this forum but link2sd ?
i thnk i know what he means by saying data2sd rom. i think what he means is. are there any custom rom out there for samsung galaxy ace which utilize data2sd on its custom rom. so that after installing that particular custom rom we can get more internal rom available.
for example if we use stock rom. imagined, we just bought samsung galaxy ace. we only got around 140mb on internal memory. now by installing this particular custom rom utilizing data2sd. after installing that custom rom we can get for example 1.5gb internal memory (we can get that size if for example we create ext4 second partition around 1.5gb on our sd card)
now the question is. are there any particular custom rom with data2sd as mentioned above for samsung galaxy ace? because we can find similiar custom rom for several htc handhelds.

First things first.
DO NOT USE A2SD SCRIPT ON THIS ROM.
You can use any other scripts though. Most of the games run normally. But if you want to try some resource hungry games, be sure to OC.
The hardware acceleration mod is there to improve your overall UI.
It might or might not help you in gaming depending upon the apps running in the background.

No don't choose Xperia U or you will stuck on ICS,JB ROM Requires Unlocked Bootloader, and Xperia U was a bit old.
I prefer Xperia L a lot,with newer processor Dual Core 1GHz,1GB RAM,8GB Internal & supports microSD card.

Xperia neo L has Single Core 1GHz processor & Xperia U got Dual Core 1GHz,so Xperia U better a lot,but it doesn't have microSD card slot only.

No lol
You'll get only 4gb storage ,2 gb extra for app installation and your games will run better though if you play hd games like MC4, you might not be able to install more than one such game at once
While installing rom only system and data partitions are going to be deleted. The 4gb 'sdcard' partition will not be wiped unless you explicitly choose to do so
So finally if you are getting something other than an Xu take it but an xu is definitely better than neo l

I really don't suggest you to buy Xperia U,you can only download 1 game with 2GB data, others Apps etc...
Go for Xperia L,you can buy microSD card to expand your storage.
You will regret if you buy Xperia U,and Xperia U screen is really small...
I have created this thread for requesting the devs for compiling cm7 ROM for our wave's device
As everybody knows that wave has very less ram and in jb and kitkat ROMs after installing several apps and gapps it lags like hell
so if anybody can build cm7 for waves it will be appreciated for devs it will not take much effort so please make it
Hm good idea..
But:
1. Source od Android 2.3.6?
2. Kernel (zImage)?
Bootloader and Fota we have.
A Early build You can find
AT this Forum its froyo

well i have knowledge in porting ROM, it would be easy to port bettwen i9000 and s8500, just edit kernel, keys, build.prop and some google codes.. but i dont have testdevice, i to brick phone is very easy with this
If you use badadroid as basis, you can't brick the phone since it do everything on virtual partitions...
But it need to adapt all the work oine by the badadroid team on a GB kernel
Maybe possible to use Oleg froyo sourrces, update to GB and backport all new things from badadroid (wave 2 compatibility,modem,wifi,gps...)
I think GB also work with 3.x kernel so there is nothing to worried cause jb and kitkat also uses same version of kernel
Now, this is interesting, given the amount of RAM we have nothing would run better than GB.
Hmm.. true story

I have one really wierd question that might piss off some badroid devs, and I am very sorry about that. But, why was kitkat ported to Wave and not JB ot GB? I mean, low RAM is really a bad problem and with GApps, the lag is a bit anoying.

Jb has been ported to wave, (Android 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3) but are not updated (see old badadroid threads) (GPS is only on 4.4 i think, maybe on 4.3).
Also, ICS has been ported to wave 1 by mike (that's the beginning of Badadroid project), upgrading the GB kernel from Oleg, if i remember correclty (that's old). But in Mike ICS or Oleg GB, only wave 1 is supported, and there is no network.
kitkat is big joke from google
even wave2(ics) is faster than note2(kitkat)
google was saying at the time of release of kitkat that it is optimised for low ram device
but its very hard to find anything running official kitkat with less than 1 gb ram
BTW to my understanding virtual RAM partitions on solid storage are very likely to damage it if I'm not wrong.
And yeah, KKs main goal was to fix the nonsensical performance hit taken from the 4.3 update, IMO they could have done even better by trying to optimize it for even lower end hardware, such changes would be noted around the whole device lineup, still its noticeably better than 4.3 and pretty close to 4.2/4.1 levels

zRam doesn't damage nand or SD, but swap does.
zRam use real RAM and compress it, but swap create file on SD or Nand, and constantly write on it.
Flash memory have a limited write lifetime (like SSD), so, using swap is not good for flash memory.
Not dangerous, but it use it faster.

Yeah, as BenzoX said, use a microSD for the swap partition, if you kill the internal storage you'll probably be screwed.

OK! So, thats the kind of sh!t you dont wanna do. Deleting it ASAP. Thanks for the info guys.
But, without that, the ROM is pretty slow.
