Now maybe some of you can help me. I have 2 problems with my phone (GT-S5282).
Kenzagem Like. camera and gallery wont work ... It says That there is no external card. But this problem with the gallery I got from an old ROM (Stock Deodexed Prerooted ByAkshay Sharma) but the Camera work. Any idea how to fix this?FIXED=Format the internal SD. I did this from the Advanced menu of CWM Recovery.
When I try to use Gmail or Hangouts, it closes ... it says Unknown issue associated with Google Play Services. I'm still trying to fix this and any help will be welcome. FIXED: Uninstall Google Play Services (with the help of Link2SD). Then reinstall it from google play store (Search: Play Services).

Yes.. i installed sVanila 1.1 previously.... then updated 1.2 by cwm recovery install (install zip from sdcard)... but it is CWM v5.0..is tat problem? now downloading stock rom...

No need to download stock ROM, install CWM v6 (it is mentioned in instructions), and then re-install sVanilla.

You need to set wallpaper to both sim card

Yes, you will need to select dual sim variant while installing svanilla 1.2 update.
No major bugs, minor bugs persists but that should not bother you much.

Use CWM v6 to flash.
And it takes about 3-4 mins to get flashed, if you are doing it correctly.
I've updated the ROM to 1.2.2 in my Galaxy star s5280, but when I open Play Store, it force close. How can I fix this issue?

It maybe because of -
1. You directly jumped from 1.1 to 1.2.2 without installing 1.2. If so then install 1.2 first and then again 1.2.2. No need wipe anything while installing updates.
2. You chose to disable Google apps in 1.2. In that case, install 1.2 choose correct option and then install 1.2.2.

Hi Guys,
There are some issues which i am facing on my Xperia X10i after installing the Feralab V6.0 ROM. I am having a locked bootloader.
The list of issues which i am facing post installation are:
1) Message Application is getting FC everytime i try to open it.
2) Wi-Fi is not working. In the settings Tab, it is showing as error and is not getting enabled. (Please let me know its resolution ASAP).
3) While Using My Backup Pro, when I am restoring my Messages, it is giving me an error (SMS Failed : attempt to write a read only database).
4) When opening the Camera App, its giving me an error (The Application Messaging (Process.com.sonyericsson.conversations) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again). When i Click on Ok, the Camera is working Properly....What should I do.. ??
I would really appreciate, if i get the replies ASAP...Thanks in Advance..!!!!!

I tried using the Fix Permissions, and the messaging FC problem is now resolved...
I am using the Kernel 2.6.29-modFXP-DoomKernel-v04b [email protected] with a locked bootloader..Do i need to do anything specific to enable Wi-Fi..?
Also Can u give me the link to the latest stable Feralab ROM.??
I've used all Feravolt's roms and I'm on the latest 10.3. It's awesome imo. One fc and that is to do with music eq. I think it's my setup. Go onto the development thread and look up Fera's rom there, follow the instructions and you're done. Although he's about to release v11 soon, so it might pay wait for it to come.
Oh and you might want to check for the latest kernel, it's there in his op as well.
There is also a problem with some people not being able to add a recipient when composing a text message,thus it wont get sent......

Hi,Im on v10.3.I have checked both threads and theres no answer,although Fera says he is working on it.
Maybe it will be fixed in v11,but if its not,I will unfortunately have to remove this rom.
Edit:I can send messages by using go sms pro instead......

If you go to the general section, into Fera's discussion thread, you will be able to get 10.3. It's on page 186 post #1855 from Yeeyon1990.
I don't have these problems with 10.3 and btw you should be posting there with questions to do with Fera's roms, great place to get specific help to do with the rom.

Its a super clean installation zip. So no errors. Backup your apps, call log, contacts. Use tb/ub/mb to backup apps. Backing up sms/contact via mb never works.
After flashing 10.3 don't flash ics.... You will get fc. I've is not fully updated upto 10.3

There is a fix for that problem IF u read the thread! u just take the conversation.apk from an older version like v9 and paste it in system/app using root explorer (thats what i used) and set the permission to

I dont think there is a solution for that in this point, what u can do instead if u want the look of ics is to download go launcher and the ics theme from market just a suggestion

Clean install
anyone who is getting FC or WLOD just do following steps
1. backup ur memory card data which is most important to ur computer
2. format SD card
3. put files for Flash in sd card (ROM, Newfix, Kernel for locked bl)
4. boot into xrecovery and Flash the ROM than reboot
5. follow setup guide after installation, dont install anything play with it for good 5 minutes. (Open message application first and then open camera application, don't send any message or take pictures)
6. reboot into xrecovery and flash new fix zip given by fera... fix permission
7. reboot ur phone and follow the script manager command described in the OP of fera
8. wait for 2 minutes after that (still don't install anything)
9. reboot ur phone
10. wait for 2 minutes after starting the phone and now u can do everything

This mod work very well but i have little problem with version 2.0. I have lg l9 ii with stock 4.1.2 jb on it, version 1.0 work with viper4android and it sound great but when i installed version 2.0 on clean rom (ofc still 4.1.2 jb) system run good without any issues or fcs but after installing viper i cant run it...! I dont know why but viper cant just run, it is in app drawer but when i click it make screen black for 3 sec and come back to app drawer wiothout any screens or something, he should ask about su permissions and install drivers but this not happen. Ofc super su and busy box are installed and work good, dont know why it happen, i tried install viper later extreme and first extreme later viper in both ways still same problem. I come back to 1.0 because viper for me is a must, maybe you people know how to fix it. Installing viper as system app dont change anything, i tried to add viper drivers on my own by copying its file from old system to lib folder and adding necessary lines in audio_effect.conf but app still cant run

Their is no app to say anything is open. Just trust the buildprop lines.

Providing it's Android 4 or up, sure.
Opss, until now I found problem with my phone: even I install busybody 15 or 18, then flash this mod (v2), then I found nothing add into my system/app and system/framework, ... only string was add into my build.prop. I don't know why, but before I installed successful this mod, with full file in this zip into my system, now didn't, even I mount system in recovery before flash zip. My phone is rooted, of course. Anyone like that?

More specific please... EB version? do you have custom kernel installed or just stock kernel from rom? do you mount /system before flashing EB? The best way to install EB is after flashing the new rom. You need to mount /system then flashing EB. Reboot. After that install v4a and its drivers. Reboot again. If you follow that method and found it's not working try another version of EB. If the problem still persists, seems like it come from your rom side not supporting it.

i flashed version 2.1 on my evo 4g lte with TWRP recovery and it flashed fine, but when i rebooted and played music, it stayed the same. Was an app supposed to be installed or something? I have Viper4android installed already, but extremebeats doesnt show up anywhere...are there more steps besides flashing with recovery?

This mod doesn't work on my HTC One M8. Android 4.4.4 3.28.xxx.x Rooted Stock, S-on. Tried it a bunch of times with different practices, it just soft bricks the phone every time.
OP, what can you say about this? It says in your page that my device is supported but it doesn't work. Or maybe it's just me, what should I do if it is? Help please, I'm really eager to have this mod.

I have a problem with Spirit Rom (lasted version 1.6) : First I install Rom + Gapps + Neo Kernel, when I disble Kernel tweak then I reboot I can't turn off screen (I think this is screen off bug) and I think Spirit Rom don't need Kernel tweak because it run background . Sometimes when everything is still loading you can't turn off screen. I think you should use the turn off screen tile in the quick settings panel to turn off your screen for the time being. Eventually it'll fix itself

I use power button to turn off screen but nothing happen. After 10 mins I leave it alone but my Vibrant doens't turn off screen itself. I will try your your suggest. Thanks

Hi. I was on spirit 1.6.it was working perfectly until I lost my network all of a sudden.my baseband and imei also lost..unfortunately I do not have a efs backup..I tried various methods..non works for me.flashed back to stock..no luck..any suggestions?

When you flashed back to stock and installed a custom Rom. There was still no backup folder on your sdcard?

everything is working perfectly on v1.7, except for 2 (very minor) things.
1. custom status bar color - does nothing when checked
2. notification drawer won't stay transparent after a reboot.
great rom btw. i get bored with roms fast and all the customizations on this one are fun to play with

I think you need to turn on force high-end graphics in settings > performance for those to work properly. I have it checked and those settings work perfectly fine for me.

This is a CM bug, it will be fixed on future releases I suppose

Hey it' s me again i don' t know if it is mine problem or it is a problem ART but 1)facebook messenger doesn' t work so good
2)I encountered a problem when i try to change photo of the contact, it appear a document error, i hope this can help you i try to do what i can do

1)My facebook messenger works fine, so it not necessary is a system problem
2)I've also noticed that when I go to choose a photo the documents app is force closing
All system apps crashing is not my fault, it will be fixed by CM team

The first time i've installed cm 12 i did it without do all the wipes, when i switched on the phone it worked but i had a lot of bugs, included the bug regarding the sim, system didn' t read it, so i switched off i did all the wipes and now it work perfectly
Have used it for 2 days now, works very good, batteri is ok, system ut is smooth, running nova launcher, all apps that i have tryed works ok. internet speed and wifi works perfekt.
For a alpha release it is perfect!!!!

You can turn recovery on by pressing up - home and power while you turn on the device... All you have to do is release buttons when you see recovery booting at left top corner of the screen... It works for me

Man once you installed the rom, even if you don t have the root you have the cwm, so, when will come an update all what you have to do is:
1 boot your phone into recovery mode
2 install the .zip from your sd
Doing this you will get the update!

You can do it installing app "link2sd" from the play store
2) settings>button>home button> long press>recent app switcher

I update my ace3 to 2011_11_21 release. My first experience is the temperature , my phone is hot. But doesn't matter because android 5.0 running on it!!
I think this rom is daily usable . Not fast as android 4.4 but fast.

Not now. We are still in beta version, ram management is not optimized.
But for only phone use it works very well , cause Ril work (call,sms and data) .

Look at the top of the download link, you can see the Google Apps. Click there and download the gapps for Android 5.0. I haven't used it yet but you can try.
BTW, the ROM is great!

Hello All,
this is my very first post in xda developers
Noobie here. don't have in-dept knowledge of Linux and android development but play with my device for fun sake.
m xperia u user and 2 weeks ago i had rooted my mobile also bootloader.
From that time i have installed multiple ROM's which are xperia firmware[ST25i_6.1.1.B.1.100], CM11, PA 4.4.4. and now this [[ROM][5.0.2][WIP] Unofficial CyanogenMod 12 for Xperia U]. All were having some issues.
I tried ROM AOSP-5.0-20141128-kumquat-BETA as well and it got hotspot tethering, bluetooth and wifi issue + sd card not detected.camera vdo recording works.
I know this ROM also got some issues as updated by current users. but still will try this.
Will let you know the issues a after using it fo a day.

Hi primarily thanks for great ROM. But I have a big problem. Keyboard immediately closes or doesn't open at all. How can I fix it? Please help me.

Try this from Sola. It still crash sometimes so it just for temporary. Install adb on your PC first.
- Connect phone to PC with USB debugging connected
- Enter "adb shell" on cmd
- Enter "echo "512,768,2880,4160,6080,10560" > /sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree"

Landscape mode
The notification drawer is not fully shown once we switch to landscape mode.
Is it still keyboard crashing or it has been fixed

m installing the gapps minimal pack now. let me see if it cure the keyboard disappear issue.
everything is working good. small lag that is also because data is ON i guess. apps and games + keyboard no issue.

try to install the ROM again from scratch.. don't forget the correct wipes
sometimes this is the right way to solve this kind of problem
No root access in beta 2.0
after updating to beta 2.0 , the root access is gone.. tried downloading supersu,but can't update it.. please help me .. i am using it as my daily driver and can't go back (i'm loving it)

as far as I understood, in CM12 there is no need of Superuser app. First, you should enable the "Developer options" (go to settings > about phone and then tap repeatedly on Build number until the options are enabled).
Go to settings > Developer options and scroll down until you find Root access, tap on this and choose among the options the right one you want.
That's all!
in latest update, camera capture is working ok but video recording is not working smoothly.
not able to use any kind of camera apps like camera360. it completely stop the mobile and have to reboot it.
About keyboard, disappear issue is gone after installing http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/gapps-google-apps-minimal-edition-t2943330 by selecting right DPI value install [MY DPI value is 240]. but after installing facebook app again keyboard disappear seen. but on other apps like watsapp, messaging n others keyboard is working without any issue.
