So it seems I can't boot any LP ROM I try to build.
I even tried to build ROMs that were built before and it's still not working. Stuck at the phone logo.
Any idea what might cause that? KitKat is building fine...
Yes, I am using Open JDK 7 for L.
Thanks!

I'm running cyanogenmod on my htc one and was wondering if the kernel supports loop devices for a linux install.
Thanks
edit: installed new kernel, got linux up and running
please lock
Hey folks, I'm curious, I've used this program before on my Acer Iconia A100. I am trying to get it to install and run on my i717, but I get the attached error. Does anybody have any idea? I've tried on CM 10.1, CM 10.2, Carbon ROM, and the factory Jellybean 4.1. I seem to support loop devices on every kernel but I can't get it to run... This was trying to use Ubuntu 12 from complete linux installer on the market.
Does anyone here know if there is a i777 compatible kernel for the galaxy s2 i9100 5.1 lollipop roms . I have tried using Shift- Eternal- lollipop kernel. It was compatible with the i9100 5.0 lollipop CM Resurrection_remix ROM, but I have not been able to get it to work with the 5.1 release.. I have tried replacing the boot image file from cyanide L 5.1. It boots but there is no wifi or Mobile data.

No, sorry. @rogersb11's kernel is pretty much the only game in town now. It's possible (purely speculative) that you've run into problems because he builds his own kernel instead of CM's, and RR is basically CM with added features so you would need a pure CM kernel to port.
Again, that's a guess, as that's how it used to work. He's posted an update to his rom; did you try pulling the kernel from that update?
Steve, thanks for taking the time to reply. I was afraid that was the case. Rogerb11 first 5.1 release was without his lollipop kernel. he stated that he was having problems with his kernel with wifi. I tried porting that kernel and I believe that it just boot looped. His second release with his kernel booted, but then I experienced problems with wifi and mobile. Hopefully he will release a 5.1 standalone kernel that can be ported over to the i9100 ROMs.
The truth is I have not been able to find a stable lollipop rom yet for my phone. The closest was resolution remix 5.02. and I was wanting to try the 5.1 version. Will keep checking the forum. Thanks again
Hello Everyone,
I made Cyanogenmod 13 build for moto e condor(which is supported by cyanogenmod), then I installed it using twrp recovery and it's working fine.. But now from this cyanogenmod source code I made cyanogenmod 13 build for cherry mobile flare S Play (which is not supported by cyanogenmod) by follwing "How To Port CyanogenMod Android To Your Own Device" wiki page.. I did all the steps as mentioned in this page and one more extra thing I did that I changed kernel folder of surce code(which is kernel version 3.4) with another kernel source code (kernel version 3.10.72), because cheery mobile flare s play has 3.10.72 kernel version..
I build Zip file successfully for Cherry mobile flare s play and I installed it using twrp recovery but after installing while doing reboot system it's only showing flare s play icon and then black screen is coming.. now I am not able to install cyanogenmod 13 build in cherry mobile flare s play
Please do help if anyone knows..
Thanks
Fall-through from normal boot mode

Although I don't own the device, but here's some common solutions that you can try:
Restoring the old kernel to your build?
Carefully check the new kernel to make sure it's compatible with the firmware?
Re-flash stock ROM then re-flash your build again?
Cheers!

When this error comes, do you have any idea?
Hey guys,
as said in the title i can not install the AOSP Custom roms on my GT-P7500. Android 7.1.2 and 6.0.1 are giving me the same Error: 7 when i try to flash it with TWRP! It also says i'm using a rom for "p4" and i would have a "p4tmo" which is definately not true.
I was able to install the AOSP Android 5 but it's really buggy and since others had no problems with the 7.1.2 i'd love to get this running. There was a hint to try an older TWRP version but i couldn't find another version than the 3.1 for this device.
If anyone has an idea what could help i'd appreciate it a lot!
Thanks peeps
Edit: I installed CM 10.1 now and at first this rom gave me the very same error. After editing the update-script file in the rom i was able to install it though. This modification does not work in the AOSP roms.. any idea on that?
