I tried the 0221 build and had the wake issues. I'm gonna try the 0342 build and see if that does it! I've been experimenting building kernals for the S3 and XT912 to learn! I'm gonna start working on the I717 tonight and see if I can help everyone out! And thanks again for all of the hard work gimmeitorilltell!

Yeah, the 342 seems to work, but also has wake issues after a while. And looking forward to testing your Kernals :good:
Will try NOW and use it from tomorrow daily driver to test from MIUI!
[ Updated! ]
1. Updated to TWRP 2.8.1.0 recovery.
2. Not sure for i717 => 'UCMC1 radio"
3. Tried Both builds
Slim-quincyatt-5.0.2.alpha.0.91-UNOFFICIAL-20150202-0342.zip
Slim-quincyatt-5.0.2.alpha.0.91-UNOFFICIAL-20150202-0221.zip
=> Keep rebooting as soon as it boots to home screen after you click "power" button to turn off and try to wake up back.
Still it was enough excitement feeling to see the LP home screen on i717!
Hope we could see working build soon.
P.S. Can any developer could also change PIT(partition modification original 2GB limit) specially for new build?

CM-11.0 Install Guide
Note: CM for Galaxy S4 Mini is provided with no warranty. You are installing this software at your own risk. You may be violating your warranty.
Download CM-11.0 and gapps-jb zips and put in /sdcard
Nightly: http://get.cm/?device=serrano3gxx&type=nightly
UPGRADE REQUIRED
gapps version 20140606
MD5SUM: d840e20fba6f0e2b85d1aebe493a88fa
Please verify the md5sum to be sure you got the right one.
Before you install CM-11.0: Preparation (First three are optional. If you want to start fresh, these can be skipped)
Install AppBak from Market, run it and save a list of all your apps.
Install SMS Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your SMS history.
Install Call Logs Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your call log history.
Boot into ClockworkMod recovery. Make a full backup. You will need this backup later if you decide to go back to your previous ROM and data.
WARNING: Many apps will Force Close crash if you restore data from a previous ROM.
Install
Use ClockworkMod Recovery.
Warning: Only use this recovery to flash CM-11.0. Otherwise, you risk bricking your phone!2
Wipe data and cache.
Flash cm-11*.zip.
Flash gapps*.zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade to CM11.0 since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.
Reboot phone.
After you setup your Google account, reinstall the three apps from Market in order to restore most of your apps, call log and SMS history.
Warning: Do not restore backup data of system apps!
If you restore a bad backup with cached settings in telephony.db in data/data/com.*.*.telephony it can break MMS.
It seems that restoring backups can also break Calendar sync.
Upgrades
Upgrades from previous versions of CM11.0 are the same process as install, except you do not need to wipe anything. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to even wipe cache and dalvik-cache when upgrading between CM11.0 versions. You only need to wipe if you are doing a major upgrade, switching to a different ROM entirely, or attempting to fix bugs caused by bad backups or corrupt app data.

For the first nightly it's actually super stable, haven't had a single reboot since last night when i installed it.
Only thing missing is the trebuchet options, like removing the search bar, and choosing which screen is your default home screen, but im sure thats all pretty much in development.
Performance is also excellent, 20900 antutu. Feels as buttery smooth as ever.

You need to be using the launcher3 for those settings, the other launcher is googlish.
@arco68
I have just reflashed the rom and gapps, "launcher3" doesn't appear to be on the gti9190s cm11. In the App manager under all apps tab there is only "launcher", can anybody else with 9190 confirm this?
Sent from my GT-I9190 using xda app-developers app
So i managed to get the launcher going with some help
Found a minor bug, if you remove an app from your home screen, the search bar turns into the word "remove" in red where you can drop the app, but if you disable the search bar, then that word in red is also removed, and you cannot get apps of your homescreen until you have re_enabled the searchbar

First impressions on 4.4.1
It's marvellous so far. Less random reboots and improved battery life. Minor bugs such as camera freezes. But not so important and will definitely be handled by this awesome team (@arco68 & the company).

Same here. But the resulting recorded video is as it should be, non-pixelated.
today swithed cm11. smooth, especially after switching art. but cm is not what it had been 1,5 years ago. a lot of own approaches and some unnecessary apps one should get rid off.
would very appreciate if someone would provide slimkat nightlies... black apps, slim, additional settings as touch a sensistivity are great features normal cm is missing.
nevertheless most is working fine, just some issues with flash and torch at this development stage. all else seems to be quite good. - thanks for sharing!

{[REQUEST] Interface options
Hi guys,
can i first say, great work. And if i knew how to do this myself i would.
Just wondering if you could put in an option to hide the clock in the top right corner... like the option in the interface to hide the battery icon.
Also need an option in the camera to use external SD card for main storage. Have tried 3 other camera apps from the play store but none have this option either.
Keep up the fantastic work.:good:

Download recovery file (TWRP 2.6.3.1b) and flash via fastboot. This version of TWRP has been modified to accommodate the updated partition layout for this update.

So I pulled the feature list directly from the lead developer's thread with the assumption that he had kept up the feature list...appears he doesnt keep his thread up.

So I will edit out all the features from the OP and instead just put a link to the kitkat changelog.
Copy that, but I don't see why DPI settings aren't working. Xposed is there, as well as app settings, so it should work.

Features
https://carbonrom.org/features/ (Pretty much everything.)
Nexus One specific:
Trackball wake toggle (Settings -> CarbonFibers -> Buttons)
Download here.
Read instructions before installing.
Installation:
If you don't know what hboot is, please read this first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1270589
HBOOT /system size 220
I recommend cache at 10mb
Wipe data.
This must be done before flashing zips if you want Mounts2SD to work properly, as Mounts2SD's zip writes to /data.
Install ROM.
(Optional but highly recommended) Install ext script such as Mounts2SD download here - same zip as my CM11)
You will need an ext partition on your SD card.
You can customize the settings after installation with the Mounts2SD app. You may want to move application libraries, for example.
TWRP also seems to not like Mounts2SD. CWM and 4EXT seem to work fine for me.
Known Bugs:
Don't even try screen recording
Evervolv base
HWA video recording/playback not working
no MMS
wifi tethering not happy - only works on no password
Keyboard
If system language is set away from English because of SIM card, keyboard will crash. Set up phone in English.
I myself am having some trouble downloading large applications, not sure where this problem is from
Big thanks to:
Evervolv - device/kernel/other repos. They're the guys that keep the old Nexus One going 4 years after it came out.
CarbonRom and all those who maintain the sources they use (Slim, PA, AOKP)
WoH, csytracy who helped me earlier on
dk_zero-cool, for mounts2sd.
spezi77, for maintaining some handy sources with qsd8k mods
Some of my sources are available on github: https://github.com/parkedraccoon/android_device_htc_passion/tree/kitkat-carbon, https://github.com/parkedraccoon/android_packages_apps_CarbonFibers
Carbon is just about as slim as CM, but does not include a music app. That's how I left the boot animation and some audio files in there.
Old downloads:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6H3m9ss3c8scnRKMGRPLS1QaW8&usp=sharing
Old Mounts2SD:
Some have reported problems with the current Mounts2SD script. Attached to this post is an old installer I used to use back in the 4.1 days that seems to work on sd cards that the new Mounts2SD does not. It is an Aroma installer - I recommend default settings except check dalvik along with apps.
Why is this not the main zip? Because it takes more effort and the current Mounts2SD script seems to work fine for most.
Looking for ART? I have not been able to make ART boot on Carbon, even when using the exact same method as with CM. I may continue playing around but I doubt I'll find anything.
Thanks, I try it now!

It's an issue in Carbon itself, actually. I'll try and make a workaround if I have time this weekend (again, I'll be busy)
It's beautiful.
The Carbon ROM is the ROM that has more style, so far, to Nexus One But most important is fluency. So I want to ask:
Is it as smooth as CM 11?
Anyone who can answer estrablecer diferecencias Thanks beforehand.

In test carbon for hour and I thing cm more stable cuz wifi region my phone freeze and become unstable
New update posted! Lots of new things. I love removing things from the Known Bugs list!
ROM itself:
Gesture typing fixed!
The ROM is not so tightly bound to 220MB, so it will take less time to install. Recommended hboot size is still 220.
Default ringtone not existing fixed. (This fixes the 'soft,' actually completely silent, notification sound, at least in some cases.)
I have fixed the error in CarbonFibers on Notifications menu where it crashes.
I may push my fix upstream to Carbon but for devices that do not require slimming, it is not needed.
Carbon:
Force high gfx mode (transparent status bar/navbar) is now officially part of Carbon. Performance -> Force high-end graphics. Surprisingly enough our very own drewis/texasice's commit is used!
Slim's PIE added
Lots of small tweaks, etc.
Check first post for update link.
Cool
Thanks for the new arrangements, and say why do not you fix some.

Great Rom!
Works: Call, SMS, data, front camera, video/sound/music, wifi + wifi AP.
Doesn't work:
back camera.
(edit: After flashing Shift CM12 kernel, camera works! But shift cm12 kernel not as smooth as the default kernel. Also baseband may have problem again.)
Keep the good work!

I changed Prefered network type to "GSM/WCDMA/LTE preferred" (under Cellular network setttings), so phone call seems working now.

Hello everybody,
I've just compiled PACMAN-ROM for my new Z3C. Current version is PAC-LP MR1 Beta2.
Device trees are CyanogenMod's so probably all device specific CM-bugs will be there too.
The boot.img inside the zip contains CM 12.1 kernel and "Cyanogen Recovery" (no backup right now!).
For alternative recoveries/kernels scroll down to "TESTED - WORKING"...
If the rom is stable for daily use (as I hope) I'm gonna build newer version periodically (depending on PAC & CM updates).

Just flash it before or after installing the PACROM zip. It contains the original kernel + DualRecovery. CyanogenRecovery really sucks, not even a way to make backups. Now we can
does this have a camera fix included, or does that need to be flashed separately? I don't have a backed up TA partition, so I rely on the fix for image processing (like many others on here, I'm sure).
thanks in advance and nice to see the ROM!

there's nothing like this included. as far as i know custom roms/ custom kernels can't handle drm keys from TA partition. not sure about flashable drm replacement, i don't think it will work, but maybe it does
perhaps someone knows more about this sony image processing stuff.
isn't that all software based? if so, i could imagine that a good camera app (FV-5 or something like) can bring the same results.
Great work mate. Been running a few hours with the updated boot.img
Hopefully there is no "memory leak"

That fix is only useful on stock Sony based rom's.
bugs update
(1) i found a small, almost funny bug. couldn't reboot to recovery today because phone always ended with shutdown. i desperately flashed the boot.img again but no change. only after deactivating everything i thought not being active at installation the problem disappeared.
well, it's the active alarm, that i use every morning ...
(2) in call volume issue seem's to be somewhere hidden in android_device_sony_z3c/audio/mixer_paths.xml of the repo. just in case someone likes to search
I have noticed a small bug, could be just me though. When rebooting while plugged in to the USB charger it goes as far as the Sony logo then freezes until I unplug it. How would I go about submitting a bug report for it?

Hi, thank's for that! I've just reproduced what you wrote. On my phone this is also connected to active alarm clock. It's rebooting fine when alarm is off. So, quite the same as my last post.
I have no suggestion about real bug reports, because of 2 reasons: this is an unofficial build, primarily for myself ... but shared. I would stop building if Z3C would get official PAC support. And I've just started building roms 2 months ago. So, I'm not having the skills (yet) for advanced debugging. Right now it's more like being voluntary apprentice  ... I'm gonna add your input it into 1st post.
For now stability of this rom is mainly dependent on PACROM itself and official CM support.
Im glad you could reproduce the same bug. I think you have done a great job mate. I'm loving this ROM and appreciate your efforts. I'm trying to figure the dev side of things myself, not having much luck yet.

Good job, m8!
Can someone post a picture, taken by camera on this phone with this rom ?
A picture of a door , or a wall, for example. Any picture featuring a rectangular shape with straight lines.
I had a broblem be4 on CM12 @z3c , the camera ( any camera app ) took pictures, distorting proportions, like there was a fisheye filter applied
