Can I use it on my GP 4.2? I want to do a themed ROM for my player (MY player), can I take te picture from your apks?
1st let me tell you what and all required for a custom bootanimation.
You must have a ROOTED device.
A root file manager such as ROOT EXPLORER
Custom bootanimation of your choice
15-20 minutes of time
and importantly PATIENCE
if you have all these then proceed to the next step
Download any of you favorite Bootanimation from here or from any other thread/site
How to add:
You need root and CWM Recovery.
If you need the stock bootanimation then make a back up of that using RootExplorer
Copy the bootanimation to your SD Card.
Rename to bootanimation.zip -If the zipfile has any other name plz rename it to "bootanimation.zip" , without quotes
With root explorer or any other app that allows you to get to /system/media
Copy the bootanimation .zip into /system/media and replace it with the stock one (remember to mount R/W)
And Finally set permissions to rw--r--r--
Should Look something like this
x x -
x - -
x - -
All Bootanimations are of 320x480 size , so will support Mini Pro

-Android 6.0 Marshmallow boot animation for SGY
Hello Folks, this is my first thread in xda forums. The images are extracted from the APK provided in this thread (Special thanks to xdagee). The resolution of the images is reduced to fit perfect on our device. The original frame rate of the animation is 60fps, so if it seems too fast, download and use the other zip in 48fps from the links provided below (I'm using that .

Umm, there is no Jelly Bean 4.1.2 for the Galaxy Y, only 4.0.4 ICS and 4.4.4 Kitkat
Ok thanks
Can you provide a 30fps bootanimation port of this one? 48fps isnt working on cm7.2
edit: okay I have made a 30fps version of this boot animation, problem solved Thanks for this though!

Boot Animation DL : http://gamoding.blogspot.in/2016/09/android-nougat-boot-logo-and-animation.html
Boot Logo : See the attachments
Step 1 : Download the bootanimation.zip File
To get started, download the bootanimation.zip file from Android Nougat.
Download the Android Nougat boot animation (.zip)
Step 2 : Rename Your Old Boot Animation File
Don't Miss:
The Best Free File Browsers for Android
Next up, use your favorite root-enabled file browser to navigate to the /system/media folder on your device. From here, locate the existing bootanimation.zip file, then long-press it and choose "Rename" (note that if your device does not have a bootanimation.zip file in this folder, it is not supported). Next, simply add a ".bak" to the end of the file name, then press "OK."
Step 3 : Copy the New Boot Animation File & Change Permissions
From here, head to the Download folder on your SD card or internal storage partition, then select the bootanimation.zip file that you downloaded in Step 1. From here, just copy the file, then paste it into the /system/media folder.
Once you've done that, long-press the newly-copied bootanimation.zip file, then choose "Permissions." Finally, set the Owner category to "Read" and "Write," then make sure all other categories are set to just "Read."
Step 4 : Reboot & Enjoy
At this point, all that's left to do is to reboot your phone and check out the new boot animation. It's a white circle that features colored ribbons morphing around alongside it, and the animation itself is something akin to a loading circle. This new animation should be made official later this year, so you're getting an early taste of Nougat well before the rest of the public.
