Candy5 looks awesome. I can't wait to try the GPe version once it is up. CandyKat has been awesome so far and worked flawlessly for me so far!

Thanks Alex.

Can i know the bugs?

Is it multiboot compatible?

I think I will say: "Love at first flashing!" about this ROM. The Bluetooth bug seems to be solved, I could start and stop the music with my SBH20 without any problems (if I stop it on other ROMs, I just can't resume unless I reboot the device).
So I am going to flash my C6833 right away and the ROM seems fine otherwise. The first impression was really, really good.

The most important for me is -how is battery life with this ROM?

I am following your flashing adventures pretty much
Did you try it with Zombie kernel or just stock? How you like it compared to DU?

Can't wait for the GPE version!! Thank you for your work and the great ROMs!

I think this is a keeper. I have not replaced the kernel since it is shipped with a recent thing with build date of February 3 (Zombie is older). I have restored my backups and everything seems to work perfectly. No noticeable bugs yet.
I prefer this ROM over DU, mostly since this one has reached a more advanced stage of development - all features seems to work (DU will get there) and the more recent build also means that the CM12 Transparent theme works; I really love the transparent Settings offered.
From my perspective, this seems to be the ROM and I think it says something that it is RC already. The power consumption seems to be perfectly OK too.
Tomorrow will be the day when I take this bad boy for a spin when I go to work but I really like everything I have seen so far.

My initial impression of active use (restore data and so forth) is good. I will report more tomorrow but I am certainly pleased with the battery at the moment.

I was gonna ask this.
Saatvik bhai, waiting for your Spirit Lollipop Version.

I was goin to flash scrubber's lolipop this week and this Candy5 appear!
Im still on CandyKat and i've waited this Candy5...
Downloading.... :victory:

Another thing that is working for me now is music alarms. I use Alarm Clock Plus and it always crashed when I tried to use songs and it happened on different LP ROMs but Candy handles it perfectly. No problems at all.
This ROM is simply impressive.

I full wipe my ZU and install Candy5.zip successfully but unable to flash the beta 5.0 gapps ...
E: Footer is wrong
E: Verification Error
Any reason why??
Or i just use the 4.4.4 gapps atm?

I tried both 4.4.4 gapps as well as the lollipop 5 gapps ......same problem.
E: Footer is wrong
E: Verification Error
Signature verification failed.
Aborting installation....
I think cm recovery is having problems with signature verification.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days, it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). However, many others have joined the project since and it has grown a lot. We have seen a wide variety of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone on to help other projects, and that is ultimately why we do what we do.
Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base, which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. With that said, it has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Very impressive ROM. Lots of features included. Great work. Doesn't have the backlight/screen flicker issues some of the other lollipop ROMs have. This is my new daily driver, only problem is you can't record video still but I'm sure that'll get fixed sometime soon.

Loved DU on my razr maxx :good:
How do i flash it using Multirom?
tried but stuck at Sony logo.
Thanks.
Sounds cool. Will ya update features and bugs in the post, soon?
ambient display FC ....
bugs?
1. Google music stopped playing music after the first song played. After a reboot songs on app will disappear.
Used an app to scan media but still song won't play and will promt "DSP manager stops responding"
2. Google Play hang ups after google music bug happened
3. H+ icon on signal was a bit overlapped ob signal icon
4. No option to transfer app data to microSD
5. Some hang-ups on system and FC's on some apps.
6. Built in keyboard : popup characters are not displayed correctly
FYI
last thing, can I install other kernel? EX: Zombie Kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z-ultra/development/anykernel2-zombie-t2926584
I flashed the ROM a few hours ago but with ZombieKernel instead of the CrDroid one attached. Everything seems to work well, the only detail is that I lose my WiFi connection sometimes or rather, it is connected but apps claim that they are unable to access the Internet. Turning it off and then on again fixes it.
The other item I noticed is that nothing happens when I try to add quick toggles.
Beside those minor things, everything seems to be smooth and stable.
I like all those Lollipop ROMs that arrived recently and it is a great performance improvement over KitKat even when I used optimized Bionic/Dalvik.

I did this 30 minutes ago and - knock on wood - it seems to work now (had the device on sleep while taking a shower and it still had WiFi connection):
Copy all the files in "/etc/firmware/wlan/prima" to "/data/misc/wifi/prima" and Reboot. (Don't forget the permissions)
Otherwise, it feels like Dirty Unicorns is a very promising project. Perhaps my WiFi problems was router related since my C6802 (Validus Lollipop) started to act up all of a sudden WiFi wise so I made a "Norwegian Reset" of the router and it seems to be OK now.
The only thing I hope is that future builds can be dirty flashed since the lack of working Titanium Backup (app restore) is a bit annoying. Some users recommended the zip method and I will consider that option (make a flashable zip), which could work since my C6602 is still running KitKat. I.e. that I restore my backup on my Xperia Z, make flashable zip out of it and then flash it on the two Ultra's I have.
It seems like the WiFi fix did it. It seems to have a reliable connection now. I also noticed a lack of APNs but put my T-Mobile one in from my head and LTE works great. An excellent ROM simply put.
Hi
Is this ROM compatible with MultiROM (does the kernel have kexec hardboot feature?) or do i need to flash the Zombie LP Kernel for compatibility with MultiROM?

Latest zombie no longer supports multirom twrp
I am afraid that the WiFi bug is still affecting me. I tried to make calls through Hangouts Dialer now and they simply timed out. The WiFi indicates connection but the sound disappears and a check with the web browser give errors about "no connection".
Since I like the ROM very much, I will flash it on my C6802 "Test Device" and return it to the C6833 when I see that the WiFi bug is killed.
It seems like it somehow "looses" the connection intermittently.

OK, the nav bar is also missing when in landscape just like in the Sony version. Changing the DPI resolves it.

Also having issues with Bluetooth audio streaming, not able to get it to play to car just like CM 12 is having the same issue with Bluetooth audio. Will try to get a log for the issue. Also as mentioned in the original Z Ultra thread double tap to wake (d2tw) isn't working. Has anyone else gotten tap to pay via Google wallet to work with AOSP 5.0 ROMs? All in all this is the best ROM for the GPE IMO even with it's flaws. It's still much better then the stock 5.0 release Sony rushed out to the GPE.
Thank you Dev!!!!

How do I get recovery on this ROM?
Have you already enabled developers mode and made sure Advanced Reboot was enabled?
Yea, same here. Stuck with stupid cyanogenmod recovery. how do i permanently replace it with either TWRP OR CWM? I didnt get to do a few crucial things before i turned my phone on and unexpectedly booted my custom recovery away.

Hello. Cool Rom!
On a few other Cm based Rom configurations there is the option in (Buttons) to create a search button in Navigation bar. It's so nice with large devices to have that.
Could this please be supported?!
Thanks

Hi everyone,
First really nice work
I wipe/ factory reset ( clean flash).
It works all really good but i have a huge battery drain from the standby of radio cell.

Standby bug is also present in the moto stock 5.1 builds also, in my experience it's more of a bug of the reporting of battery stats than actual battery drain.
@Megatron007, these ROM's are great, but, any chance we get Omni 5.1 or AOSPA?

I've been testing out layers on my nexus 4 and it's awesome. Can't wait for the camera fish eye issue to be ironed out on z3. Other than that I'm grateful to devs like you who makes our device the greatest!

we all want that to be solved...
but we can wait till the end of time for that.....
that is why there are a small amount of users using custom rom on Z3....
but I hope, I am wrong.
Known bugs?
thank you
I have an error like this
"Unfortunatelly, Google App has stopped."
and I colud not install rom.
I don't know what gapps should I use with this rom.
Tried GApps for 5.1.1, installed but google play services has stopped
Install the PA Gapps 5.1.1 pico (uni), still no luck.
another problem is "Browser has stopped"
Just a feedback, not a complaint.
Thank you
Anyone gets access denied when trying to download the ROM? Thanks!
I have same issues with GApps not working, tried Fermion Gapps, Minimal Edition Gapps.. no dice

This ROM was created by none other than the great Martin Coulon (@martinusbe). This was created as a side project during his 'free' time while waiting for GZR's Validus & Tesla builds to update. Now if you are wondering why it is called Tipsy, you guessed it. He was actually somewhat drunk when he made it, and even now, most updates/fixes are done while happilyi ntoxicated, thus keeping the Tipsy motto. It was initially done for the OnePlus One as a joke, however, the love for this ROM was so huge, it found it's way out. We just couldn't keep it to ourselves. Within a few days, it had spread like wildfire to a plethora of different devices.
Tipsy has a slim base, and only the useful and necessary stuff was added, including a few extra features to keep up with the competition out there. Tipsy fully supports Layers (RRO) and has the Layers manager app built-in. CM is kept to the barest minimum here, and is only added/used ONLY as needed.
I will try to keep this updated as much as possible, but if you feel like getting the info as it comes out along with some nice graphics, check it out here:

Sorry for OT but, any chance to see MIUI v6?
Pretty Good till now. Had some Google play servies issue with OpenGapps Aroma. Worked fine with Delta Gapps. BTW OP, can you revert Curved edges in system UI to stock? It's quite bothersome. ;P

Okay, bug report. I suspect its a Slim bug. The Volume rocker music controls option doesn't seem to work when turned on, and screen is off. Its under advanced options in sound.

maybe
Finally had time and decided to test drive this rom, like always everything based of Slim is solid,
And this rom is pretty solid, very smooth.
But with I have this issue on my phone, don't know if my phone is old or...... Maybe someone can try to reproduce this error, just so I can be sure its not my phone.
Watching mkv files for a long time (2 or 3 hours) without rebooting the phone, checking kernel adiutor shows both cpu as offline.
Notification Volume
I have searched but can't find the notifications volume. It seems it's lower than ringtone volume
