Hi. I have flashed AOSP NeatROM v 8 today. Its my first custom rom. It seems to work Ok but there is one major problem and that is low free internal memory only 826 MB.
Is there any way how could I repartition that internal memory?

I recently rooted my phone so I could install a custom ROM. I´m new with android and also with rooting. After reading a lot of articles about rooting and flashing a custom ROM, I decided to give it a chance. Because the CyanogenMod is very populair, I decided to flash this ROM. I rooted my phone with Odin adding the Siyah Kernel. This worked and I followed the manual on the CyanogenMod Wiki for I9100. I flashed CM10 with ClockworkMod Recovery. Everything went fine and I saw the great interface, which is a lot better than touchwiz.
But I could't use the camera app: No external storage available. A 16GB SD card is inside. It appears CM can't mount the SD. I also saw the internal storage: 1.97GB. But the internal storage has to be a lot more than that.
I might think that it has something to do with the encryption I did within Touchwiz. I haven't decrypted the file system before flashing the ROM...
Anything I can do?
Update: I went back to the stock ROM, and could acces the internal storage and SD card. Then flashed CM10 again, and everything was working well!!

Same Problem here, I update from CM 9 to CM 10 and I can't use Camera and It seemd than there is no internal SDCard

I am too having this issue ever since moving to custom ROMs. Its not the ROM as its happened on RR and RB ROMs.
I find it happens when the phone crashes and needs to be rebooted by holding the power button down.
Sometime after a few restarts I am then able to get the internal storage to mount, other times I need to turn the phone off and leave the battery out for a while but its just happened and nothing I am doing is working.
I really hope someone can help.
Try dori kernel. Should Mount OK custom is either 8.xx or 9.xx
I am using Dori (9.33). Having said that it never used to be as much of a problem when I used to run Siyah.

Try 9.32 I use 8.32 and have swapped ROM this week about 7-8 times and have no problems.
Hello all. Sorry but be warned: I'm a n00b on the loose.
A few months ago I flashed ultima rom to my S3. In version 12, the extsd2internal mod could be installed through the aroma install. I did so and it seemed to work - my 16GB external sd was switched to Internal and it showed the internal storage space as being the external and vice versa.
However, I upgraded to V13 and in that version, extsd2internal is installed by default and is enabled/disabled in the ultima rom settings. I enabled it and rebooted and noticed that it doesn't seem to have worked - the internal memory and external memory are reading pretty much exactly the same. I formatted the SD card, disabled the mod and re enabled the mod. Still the same outcome. Then I completely wiped my phone memory and sd card through CWM recovery, flashed the stock rom through odin and re-rooted, re-installed CWM and flashed Ultima ROM back onto my device - the mod installed through aroma installer. I went and checked in storage and to my disappointment the problem is still the same.
No matter what I've tried, I can't get the mod to work properly ever since I installed ultima rom v13, despite wiping everything and starting again. is it a partitioning problem from installing the mod multiple times?
Please help guys. Turn on your genius!

Day before yesterday i rooted my phone and i flashed cyanogen 11,but yesterday i restored my datas as i had some issues on network in cyanogen rom..i had internal memory of 8 gB in which 4 gb was usable,but after restoration mine is showing 1.25 gb of internal memory only,giving low memory warnings everytime.,,i dont know where s my rest of 3gb and why my phone is not able to show it atleast????pls pls help mee

u have got partition problem check with pit & partition
Good day... I just have my galaxy s2 flash with a custom rom and before that I have a stock rom installed and it has a 11 gig internal/mass internal storage but now after flashing it only shows 2 gig of internal storage... Also when I plug it in on my computer the 11 gig storage doesn't show up unlike before when I have the stock rom... Can anyone help me fix my problem... By the way the custom rom I installed is Cynanogen 12.1

I don't know how to explain this. I used custom ROM Miui for my rooted Lenovo before. And it's used a whole single partition on a physical internal phone as it does. But when I'm flashing Cyanogen 12.1, now it use "emulated method" for its internal storage. Because of that, I've lost about 3gb of space, Cyanogen surely made its own partition, and not mounting my real/physical partition. Now, the Cyanogen only read 5gb of internal storage, for system and data.
If I change back, Miui can read it all, the whole single internal phone storage, which is 8gb.
How can I fix this? Do I really need to sacrifice 3gb of space to use Cyanogen?
