Hello,
So here is the problem:
1. My phone is on, working normally
2. Just came home, put it charge and rebooted it
3. Phone turns on, everything works like normal
4. I open some app, no matter what it is
5. I tap home button once, gets me on the home screen
6. I double tap the home screen, so it can show the black screen with all the apps that you opened but nothing happens. It doesn't do that.
About the phone:
Android version: 4.4.3
HTC Sense Version: 6.0
Software number: MaximusHD 46.0.0
Kernel: 3.4.10-ElementalX-m7-18.0-Sense
No updates, or upgrades were happening when the issue accured.
Thank you very much in advance!
SOLUTION:
1. Go to recovery
2. Wipe cache + dalvik cache
3. Reboot and wait for the phone to settle
4. Tested, works

So, im new to android, i was tired of ios. I exchanged my iphone 4 for a Motorola razr xt910, but within a week after it started to bootloop. The phone boots up normaly and is usable for about 30 secs, then it shuts down and boots up again, on its own. I really love this phone its wayyyyy better than an iphone but that bootloop is pissing me off!:'(

I dont know what to do! Please help me!
First off, have you done ANY modding of the phone (rooting, custom ROM, etc)? This doesn't usually cause a problem unless you flashed the incorrect ROM or you flashed a ROM and didn't wipe data/cache/dalvik.
First thing is you should probably go into stock recovery and do a data wipe. WARNING!!! This WILL wipe out all your contacts and apps and settings. Normally, I would suggest backing things up, but since you are rebooting every 30 seconds, you probably can't back anything up.
You can shut down the phone as follows by pressing and holding the volume down + volume up + power buttons together for 10 seconds. After that, your phone will shut down.
Next, press and hold the volume down + volume up + power buttons again for a few seconds. The phone should boot up into a menu with white letters. Using the volume down button, scroll until you've highlighted recovery. Press the volume up button and it will show you a picture of Andy. Press the volume up and volume down buttons to go into recovery mode.
Scroll down with the volume down button to highlight wipe data/factory reset. Press the power button. Scroll down to the "Yes" menu item and press the power button. This will do a factory reset, which will wipe out all your app settings and your contacts. Once done, go back to the main menu and select "reboot now" menu item and press power button.
Your phone will reboot and will go back to the activation screen and hopefully from there, things will work.
already did this for at least 20 times ive just try to fastboot it on another firmware and it still bootloops

But theres something wierd...when i go in the recovery menu and select BP HW Diag & Boot AP, the phone works perfectly! it wont charge the battery when its plugged in the wall charger tho, but still, and when i got back to nomral powerup, the bootloop comes back
I'm running Android 4.1.2 on my Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE, rooted.
I really didn't do much to the OS once it was rooted, but something caused my screen's resolution to drop from its' default to something slightly, but noticeably, lower. I didn't know how to fix it so i decided to do a factory reset since i hadn't done anything worth saving. Well, once it had been wiped, it wouldnt boot!
So here's what happens:
*Phone is in OFF state*
1. I push the power button once, nothing happens
2. I hold the power button for about 10 seconds, the first boot screen appears (the red, un-animated motorola logo) and then the screen goes black again
3. I hold the power button and volume up button until the android guy appears
4. I hold both volume buttons until the boot options menu appears
5. I clear the cache, and factory reset again
6. I reboot
Thats all that I know to do. Any ideas??
*note* Stock ROM
After tinkering around with the developer settings i came to the conclusion that this device soft bricks when you experiment with the ART compiler, lets just say enabling it will keep you at the boot screen. I used this method on other Padfone Variants and it works on the Padfone X
If you are on the ATT boot screen and nothing is going on dont catch a heart attack
1) Hold the Volume - button on the side of the device and hold power till the phone reboots, keep holding the Vol -
2) You will be greeted with a prompt to enter or exit recovery, of course choose the enter recovery selection with the volume keys and hit power to enter
3) You are greeted with a selection screen anything from installing firmware from the phone or external sd and of course the ability to Wipe / Factory reset
4) Navigate with the vol - key to highlight Wipe / Factory Reset and hit the power key to enter, then on the next selection screen navigate down to perform the action
process takes about 4 minutes tops, afterwords the screen will pop back into the main selection screen, choose reboot phone and wait. As with all first boots this will take about 5 minutes tops, hence the ATT Logo will be visible, you will then jump into the get started screen as you did when you first bought the device.
Hope this helps with those experiencing problems
Try not to remove any bloat/or features if there is no official firmware recovery, you run a huge risk in perma-bricking your device if not careful. Wait for the DEVs to swarm in and serenade us with features
And BTW...stay away from selecting the ART compiler if youre going to enable developer mode, Stick with Dalvik if you dont want to get stuck.
1.- Wait until the device turns off.
2.- Plug the device on the base and when the screens shows the battery logo, unlink the device form the base and immediately press and hold the power button.
3.- When the ''rebooting'' screen apears, relase and press twice the button again to enter the menu.
4.- Go down to the options and select download (1 Click: go down, 2 Clicks select).
5.- Conect the device to the computer, open odin, and flash the tizen rom. (E-mail me for the link).
6.- Wait until the process finish and never try to flash another thing to your watch.
Hope you can revive the watch .
