Can anybody help me?
I want to remove the ghost wallpapers from my X10.
Let me explain it.
When there is supposed to be no wallpaper, even so I can see a hellish burning lady in flames in my screen (or should I say in my screams?).
Before the last system upgrade there was no burning lady. There was another phantasmagorical wallpaper showing a quiet bluish cold heavenly celestial scenario.
I'd like to know which files (or maybe witch files) has those macabre apparitions, so I can change them for some less spooky ones.
It's easy if you provide a screenshot
????
i think that your joking around around or you have a serious demon problem. they getting rid of occult thing from your house or person.
Here you are.
Nope, there is no joke. To my dismay, this shade have been haunting my X10.
Does somebody know this hellish lady?
My frnd u have been cursed!!!!. Run for ur life! !!" Throw away the phone! !!

System Exorcism
OK, maybe the phone is in a bad spiritual condition, but I don't want to thrash it. So how do I exorcise it?
Besides installing the holy Bible, I'm searching for the technical answers. Perusing the forum, I found this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1458001
but I'm pretty sure I uninstalled the FeraLab ROM a long time ago.
Now the question is: which file I forgot to uninstall from Fera's ROM? or... in which file(s) Fera kept the hellish lady?

Try doing a search for all .jpg and .png on your your phones SDCard through your computers file explorer. If you find those images, delete them.

Thank you for your idea, but sadly I could not find the file.
I really think this image is inside a system file, like framework or something like that, but which one I don't know.

I'm not in a "pure" ROM. I took a bunch of files from some ROMs to test, but I can't figure where this image is hidden.
Now that I presuming I found the ROM which the pic came from, maybe the solution is ask the question to Fera.

r you could just change the wallpaper? and im pretty sure its in system/app the xperiawallpapers apk :0 just delete that but then you lose all of the xperia wallpapers
Should be in xperia home or wallpaper apk. Folder directory system/res/drawable-hdpi. Check whether is there or not. If yes, replace it with some picture with exact same name, size of length x width. Or not, its something to do with image or OS. Hope helps.

+1
most probably home.apk
1-just tap and hold your screen...select another wallpaper..
2-if you want permanently remove it extract rom.zip go to "system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable'
- check default background (change it with same name, same size)
No more hellish burning ladies!

Perfect solution. Thank you very, very much.
The problem was not the Home.apk nor the Wallpaper.apk, but you're right, the culprit was the "Default Wallpaper", and you're right about the place in which he "lives".
No more hellish burning ladies!
Thank you again, now I finally can have peace in my soul.
Welcome and Congratulations

Good day community,
i really want to know how to make our own smileys on Android 4.4
I would like to have the one of Samsung or the one of iOS.
The original looks not so well.
I know all the icons are in the NotoColorEmoji.ttf font file, but i cant find a way to open and editing it...
Could you help me finding a way to make my own emoji pack?
Regards yener90

Really I was happy when I read your post, I thought that I finally found a solution.
I believe it is images that must be replaced, I don't know exactly how, but I hope one of the experts could answer your question.

I think you can do it whit the Smiley Remplacer modules on Xposed installer. I don't tested it so I'm not really sure.

There's a thread by @angelsel which explains how to replace the Android color emoji with the iOS color emoji AND how he managed to do it. The tutorial in the thread isn't too hard to follow, although he forgot to write that the AppleColorEmoji.tff provided in the thread needs to have permissions -rw-r-r in the "fonts" folder. It works great and doesn't replace any other system fonts. Looks just like iOS.

Thank you!!
I want to do it but if it didn't work; is there any way to restore the original font?
I am using go locker using the default theme. It's using Fahrenheit instead of Celsius for temp, but in screenshots I can see C is being used.
How do I change this please?
Same problem here. . No answer yet
How to.
Hey, just figured this out. If you click the theme image it takes you to a page with a button marked theme setup. Click that and you'll find the option for it in there.
Hope this helps.
That'll do it!

Hi,
sadly, this only works for the default theme (like you mentioned), it doesn't seem to work for the other, downloaded ones. At least it doesn't seem to work for the one I'm using.
If it really can't be changed, that would be quite a poor decision from the developers not to allow swapping temperature types for other than the default theme... Even if it's a free app and a free theme..
When choosing the theme in the bottom left side you will find a button named theme set click on it and this where you can change to C °

I am sorry, I couldn't figure out how to make it work
However, I am pretty sure that there is an Xposed module that can replace statusbar icons with the ones you want
Thanks for all your effort.
If you know to decomplie and recompile apks, this might help
http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/3074-change-4g-symbol-on-android-devices/page-2
I am not to good geek on this. I can root my phone and replace the systemui.apk, if someone like you who can give a shot to do.
Thanks for everything.
I did check some of xposed module, but i think they are for SG3 and HTC. Nothing i see as far for LG G2 mini. Can you head me to right direction to look forward?
Thanks

Np, thanks a bunch for efforts.
Getting my hands dirty in self quarantine.
A reboot of an old long lost all-time favorite Zooper widget in KLWP with a few extras created to take the v20 fully into account..
Comes in two variants, one for stock ROMs with the regular second screen (hide status bar in Nova to have notifications in the 2nd screen)
Second variant is for custom ROMs such as lineage 17, 16 and RR-pie which apply the set wall to the 'second screen'.
Everything was created from scratch, using GIMP (gimp.org) for the wall background, and KLWP (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.kustom.wallpaper) to build it up.
The icon pack used in the animated launcher in the centre is Light void https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.natewren.lightvoidfree)

USAGE:
Place the file in /Kustom/wallpapers from the root of your ad card and import it in klwp(full version required)
If there's any old theme you want rebooted, let me know in the comments. And pls if anyone knows the name of the dev for the theme from back in 2012 let me know so I can reference. Peace.
Looks very nice!
