I just bought a black battery cover for my white Hero. I think it rocks. Black and white looks really good together.

You can buy the battery covers from the Official HTC Accessory store online. Black and White are available..
I was going to buy one to get rid of the Orange logo on mine.. but of course Orange hero's arent black.. they are Graphite.. so it would look a little off.
Does anyone know where one is available from for the Lumia 800?

my local phones 4 u sell them in my area (reading town centre).
i bought a light blue one there - they seem to be the official nokia ones, too.
Phones4u indeed do have the cover but they only sell it with the phone as part of an accessory pack.
After speaking to one of the guys it seems they will get the Official white case this or next week and it will be on sale separately for £8.99.
Will pop in next week to purchase one.

Yup I got the black one given I think everyone pretty much got the black standard one that came in the box. Phones4U were giving out a special accessory pack which contained a white version of the Original case.
Not in the mood to go out and buy a white Lumia and I really like the official soft rubber case as oppose to the cheap knock offs you can buy anywhere else so I though I would go and hunt for one.
I want a red one. I'm also curious if the models listed on amazon.com are oem like the case it came with.
If they're labelled as CC-1031, then they're OEM.
I would love the original cover in a white.
How many official colors are there? I only ask because I've seen a RED and a MAGENTA(pink) I don't know if they are different because the ebay auction says RED and it looks red but that could just be a bad pic.

red is new white?
Seems Phones4U keep telling misleading information.
I went in to purchase it again and was told that it explicitly is only sold with the phone and is not available for purchase separately.
Kinda Sucks that they seem to have a monopoly on the Official White Case from Nokia. I am unable to find the White case from anywhere else at all after scouring the internet for weeks.
I work in Phones4U, there is no official white case, the white Lumia ships with a black case.
I asked the Nokia rep why this is and he told me it's because when he was carrying the white N9 with a white case it got so grotty, just didn't look nice.
We sell an unofficial white case, but it isn't as nice as the cases that ship with the handsets.
Ah thanks for clearing it up, the rep i spoke with was certain it was an official white case and not a 3rd party one. Already have the standard black one that came with the phone its nice but really looking for a white one with the same quality, look and feel.

I figured that would happen but I want it anyways lol. Probably look like a white mac keyboard after a few months of heavy use but so what.

That has to be a lie. Look at the fitment on the back, doesn't even line up properly. This looks like the run of the mill rubbery, get stuck on your pants, collect a lot of lint and dirt type of ebay case.

First off, the official covers are not made of silicon, secondly, the official covers do not allow access to the SIM tray.
Thirdly, if you Google that part number, you can find pictures of the packaging which show is as 'made for Nokia'.

First post here (I think), but I just had to poke my head in, as I'm really confused about this.
I got my Lumia 800 about 3 months back, and in the box was a cyan (well, I alway saw it more of a light blue, cyan's brighter. But that's my inner interior decorator talking) case. I also got the official accessory pack with the white case, and 'Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-111' in it.
Now, my cyan case that came in the phone's box, DOES allow access to the SIM tray. Which is a bit annoying as sometimes I catch it when opening the charging port. And so does the white one.
Not sure how you can tell what's silicone and what's not, but on the accessory box, it says 'white silicone case'. The cyan one feels the same material, so I assume that's silicone as well.
So the white one on Play could quite possibly be an official one, as it looks identical to the one I have at first glance.

They are $700 plus right now with used ones selling for $600+. Black Friday doesnt come around that often.

BestBuy only had the pink one =(. I didn't want to get black, since my Note 3 is white. I'm debating if I should get the Spigen Slim Armor view case now.

No problem. As soon as my screen protector comes in, hopefully later today or tomorrow I will put the badboy to use! For the mean time I'm still with the Note 2 and the Tech 21 case. I've use the Tech 21/D30 when it just came out for the S2, or was it the S3? I've dropped the Note 2 a few times and didn't expect the phone to be damage, which wasn't!
I'm not gonna bother anymore. The case doesn't fit at all. When I put it on, either side is sticking out. I like that they used a different finish then the Note 2 or the Nexus 5, but I will be returning it tomorrow.
I purchased a Nexus 9 @ swappa.com that had a decent gash in the back housing. Besides the two shown on eBay (a black for $50 and a white for $25) or having HTC do a service call and cost me out the wazoo....is there a part location that I am missing where I can find a replacement black housing?

iFixit always had some spare parts...most people don't think of them though. Sometimes they are new, other times used...in this case, for 10$ , you can't go wrong for an original HTC part
