I've already ran a few builds of AICP off Android File Host, very solid and feature rich..
Thanks for helping support our device..
@LorD ClockaN: thank you!
Just as an idea: add to the op to first flash a current CM12 firmware or the install/update will fail; maybe also mention if Superuser or SuperSU is default?

Installs with multirom just fine, however I couldn't get it to boot with the stock kernel and had to flash a custom kernel for it to boot (ak kernel)

Try this. Go to developer options and check use NU player instead of awesome player. If it's checked already try unchecking and playing the videos.

Hey, what gives? Where's r1? All I see is nightlies.
I'll flash a nightly, but I deserve a STABLE RELEASE, you lazy people.
What am I not paying you for?

Keep up the great work. I'm actually pleased to see that the legacy devices are getting the stable releases first. They need it the most, after all, being a couple years old.

EDIT:
Redownloaded rom. not boots fine.:good:
Navigation-Bar breaks in landscape mode if dpi is set to the standart 320dpi and a bit of +- range from there.
Seems to be a problem on other devices too.
280dpi works fine again
Also: Download on androidfilehost added
Congratulations on the successful build

Working good so far. Xperia keyboard crashes in landscape mode.

Having the same problem with AOKP/AOKP based ROMs. Couldn't find a solution but I think I will stick to 280 for the Nav bar. So far the rom works great and the features is super cool. Love the custom loading animation. Have not seen any ROMs that do that since my dhd days.
very smooth rom , running it along with GreatDevs Kitkat V1 kernel
One of the best non-stock roms. Good work.
This rom has dual panel feature build in? Is it autoset when dpi is changed to ie 240?

Dualpanel like Tablet-UI? Not as far as i know...
For dualwindow u can use floating windows, but you need to use slims app switcher for it to have it working as expected
Yeah. TabletUI like in cm or carbon, when dpi is set to 240 (or less?)
Sent using tf300t - PAC-man/GRIMLOCK (Linaro)
Dunno about what happens shen changing dpi that low....
But u can always enforce tablet-ui with xposed
VanirAOSP has something like this, but not much else in kitkat...
So it looks i need to find it by myself. Will report it later
Dual panel i was talking about was set at the beggining (after flash)
Sent using C6833 - Carbon KitKat/GreatDevs
no reboot
after flashing this rom with philz or twrp dualrecovery and choose reboot ,my phone doesn't reboot at all, so i flash stock firmware back.
what to do? anybody knows what's the problem. Thanx in advance
Dont know, but why not to flash included kernel and than using its cwm flash rom? Even if your method will work u will end with cwm only
@op
Is OTA enabled? Coz i dont know if should i use aicp gapps or can stay with pa ones, but i would like to have ota possibility, however only if it works

I wanted to hide it like other pic but forgot, but I've now just pushed a patch that will do just that so it will be back in the next nightly.. Not yet merged. will be after testing

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

OFFICIAL AICP NIGHTLY BUILDS
For GAPPS use PA's or SLIM's [recommended]
Stable Release [Not Available YET]
A file named "aicp_togari_lp-8.0-NIGHTLY-20150xxx.zip.html" under every build contains full changelog.
Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
Minor bugs, same as CM, Mainly:
Some issues while Adaptive brightness is enabled
Ambient display isn't working
You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Download the latest build & Gapps
Take a nandroid backup
Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
Flash ROM & Gapps using latest TWRP recovery
Reboot & Enjoy!
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows SlimRoms source.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

This bug seems to be presented in official AICP as well, I'll check what I can do about it.
Regards,
Omar.

I'm suppose I'm lucky never to have this bug! I'm using Power Amp Player...
@ Op, could you please re-upload the rom? The server is down:

It is now working, thank you. However, the download speed is very slow, it is saying 6 hours to finish download. :crying:
Can someone tell me how app2sd works?... Do I need to part my SD card ?.. What would be the best size?... Thanks in advance

Go to Settings > Apps > you'll see "On Sd Card" list and "Downloaded" list
obviously "On Sd Card" list contains apps that are on your sd (which before moving any app should be empty)
and "Downloaded" list contains apps you installed (and by default they get installed on your main storage)
all you need to do is to click on the app you wonna move to sd (from "Downloaded" list) and click "move to sd" button
you'll now see it in the other list and you can bring it back to main storage by clicking on the same button (though it'll be called "move to main storage" )
Wosh, that's detailed xD,
I hope that helps.
Regards,
Omar.

Bug is gone on Nightly from first of March
I've been on the march 1 nightly since yesterdag morning and I love it! Very stable and it gives me good battery life.
It says in the op that if you disable headsup you won't be able to take a call but that seems to have been fixed. I disabled them and I can answer my calls just fine.

Flaahed the newest nightly and all works great so far. Daily driver material for sure.
Does Spirit2 work on this ROM? Has FM radio been supported by kernel?
Is anyone having ringtone problem? It doesn't matter what ringtone I choose, the phone is always silence. This is on a clean install.

Not yet, as it's using slim kernel, and I can't update slim kernel due to their current difficulties.

Did you try picking custom ringtone from your cd or something and see if that helps?

I tried both from my own files and what comes with the rom. It's the same result. I am pulling my hair trying to figure out what I did wrong.

Thanks HashBang173! So far everything feels smooth and haven't had any hangups. On an unrelated note, anyone get xposed running? I got the ROM up and running but when I attempt to flash the xposed version I used on the stock ROM, it just sits at the boot screen.

The ROM Android version is currently 5.1.1_r24, meaning you need to flash a newer version of xposed in order for it to work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 (v75, sdk 22, arm64 should work)
Thanks. I didn't realize it was a different version :silly:
Edit- The chop for the flashlight feels easier to me than in the stock ROM. Can't wait to see how everything is after a few days. :good:
Edit2- When I reboot, I get this on the first unlock. When I first installed the ROM and tried to skip the set up, it would say skipped then reload the first screen of the set up.
It only happens on the first unlock. Not sure if a bug or bad download.

You on Verizon?
For this error though just realized you might want to do factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik.
