[Q] Old sim card information - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear Experts,
I'm a user of an android phone and wondering if there is a way i can retrieve information about my old sim card i used to use. As I have noticed that each time I remove and re-insert my sim card (dual sim galaxy grand prime) the device remembers the mobile data usage for applications for individual sim. So I think the sim card information must be saved inside the phone and i was hoping to find out one of my old sim card phone number and serial or any other information.
Thanks in advance.

XDA won't recognise SIM card present

Hi
Having followed all the instructions to unlock my XDA, and (I believe) doing it correctly, it still won't accept my SIM card and comes up with the error message:-
A SIM card is required, contact your service provider. Insert SIM and enter PIN.
I am on a vodafone contract, any ideas what the problem might be
Thanks
The SIM card you are using draws more than the standardised current. Unfortunately not all SIM card vendors conform to the standard.
Change SIM cards or try with external power.

Serious problem on my K6 note

hello
i have a lenovo k6 note, i have a problem that i don't understand about sim card
well as y'all know it has a hybrid sim card tray, so when i put two sim cards, they are both detected, but 2nd sim card shows UNKNOWN, so i thought it was the Secondary sim slot, well when i put only one sim in the secondary slot, it shows it normally !
also the slot of the SD card is working,
i tried lot of sim card so i don't think it comes from sim cards!
any wrong settings could be the origin of this problem ? please help me what's wrong with this phone :crying::crying::crying:

PSA Android 9 breaks dualsim when using sd card

Just updated my Samsung Galaxy S8+ dual sim edition to Android 9.0 Pie.
I have a tiny sim card extension fitted on my SD card so both my primary sim card and my travel-sim card can be active simultaneously.
the second sim card is thus on the outside of the phone inside a waterproof case.
When booting up I get the following error message before I can unlock my primary sim card:
SIM card tray slot problem
There seems to be something in your SIM
card tray slot that doesn't belong there. Check
it and try again.
If I slide the secondary sim card out of the adapter I can proceed, but there is no option to bypass this.
Hope to reach other dual sim users before they update.
Update, I am late for the party: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9/help/dual-sim-card-sd-card-problem-t3809073/
Best solution in this case is just to find another company for my next device, Sony does have some option to allow Sailfish OS on some of their dualsim devices, so that may be a route to take.

Moto g3 2015 - no sim card - emergency calls only

Hi, I have this problem that my moto g3 single sim version (XT1541) won't recognize my sim card and other sim cards as well, but not all, actually it recognizes only 2 operator sim cards which is strange. I tried my sim card in someone else's phone to make sure that the sim card was not the problem, and it worked without any issues.
The problem began soon after I removed my sim card without turning off the phone, and inserted another sim. The sim card was not detected then I returned my regular sim and was also not detected. It keeps on saying no sim card - Emergency calls only. I have tried everything from restarting, factory reset, reinstalling stock rom and *#*#4636#*#* with no luck. Like I said before the strange thing is that it only detects two operator sim cards namely Tigo and TTCL but does not detect other operator sim cards (tried 3 different onces). Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to solve this problem?
@zolong1
You might have to get the phone to a repair center.
