Well i am not sure, but i think you can change some settings about the video recording. What i wanna say,is that i would like to have some more FPS to my videos. Is it possible to do that by reducing a bit the pixels? Is there a file i might be able to edit to do that?
Bump!No one knows how to do this?!
Im trying to raise the "locked" bitrate on xperia z, and im having some troubles looking in kernel for files, like max FPS, thats
seems to be "locked" up to 30fps.
Someone, could tell me if the kernel has something to do about jpeg encoding? or it just has jpeg instructions? how it works?
the compression its done in kernel, libraries or on both? and its the same with h264 levels and profiles? ( high and level 4? )
Thanks in advance and excuse my bad english.

Hello,
I have Xolo a500s. I flashed a custom rom on it. The custom rom is based on 4.2.2 but it has all apps of 4.4 like camera, launcher, calender, gallery etc.
The problem I am having is that the camera app doesnt have any option to change video recording resolution. It always record video in 640x480 resolution. but in my stock rom It used to record video in 720p resolution.
I installed camera mx app from playstore and this app gives me 720p recording option. But I dont like this app. I want my default camera app to record 720p.
can I edit camera.apk file to change the video recording resolution?
or I will have to change some files of my custom rom to change the resolution?
Open camera→Settings→Picture size
