Hey everyone,
at the moment im switching between AOSP Android L and FlymeOS 4.
I really love some flyme apps especially the camera (because of filters), the calculator, sms app and file explorer.
But i don't want to miss the smooth, battery friendly experience of android l.
so my idea was to port the apps i want from flyme to android l. i found some tutorials, but the necessary pictures aren't available anymore.
anyone have an idea how to do the easiest way? i stuck at finding the correct libs and jar files. and if its possible to use flyme apps with the original framework-res.apk of android l or if i have to combine these?
i don't think that anybody portet these apps, so probably you could help me or give me the needed informations
thanks
nobody any ideas?

It is possible to port Camera, VideoPlayer and MobilePrint apps from Samsung 4.0.3/leaked 4.0.4 ROM to CyanogenMod 9?
I've used many deodex tools, changing permissions (rw-r--r-- / rwxrwxrwx) etc etc. Nothing helped. Then I'm asking and looking here for help.
Anyone knows?
Many Samsung apps (including the ones you name) rely on the TouchWiz framework. Which is not present in AOSP ROMs. So no.
So sad... anyway, thank you.
Hi,
I upgraded my ROM version (Stock) and lost my Google TTS service,
I only have the Pico one..
I do have Google Now and its working with the good smooth fluently unrobotic voice, but I can't make it to work with other apps..
I tried many kinds of apps but they all choose to use the Pico service (I don't have any more option in settings)
I guess I lost the .apk file on the system/apps for that..
Could anyone please upload that for me?
I don't know how its called, just upload everything looks familiar or has the word Google voice/TTS/text to speak/ speach/ idk..
Or perhaps you are familiar with that problem and know exactly what the solution for that is,
That would be great,
I'm running Android 4.2.2 on Sony Xperia Z (rooted with Stock de-odexed ROM)
Thanks ahead!!
Yarden.
Hello, I'm a web developer and I found that some Xperia devices work different than the rest of Android and iOS browsers. I need the original Browser.apk from Xperia to install in my android AVD but everything I tried failed due to certificates or whatever.
Can someone take the apk and compile it to install on any device? Thanks in advance.

if a AOSP rom is avaliable then there you go, install that
AOSP= Android Open Source Project, a AOSP rom is just base android aka the base version of the firmware of all android devices but it does t have oem stuff so it should look like a nexus
so in short stock android=aosp rom, if avaliable for z2
cant delete photos
another issue I have. I cant delete the photos taken from the camera. When I delete them and restart de phone, they are back again. But screenshots, WhatsApp images, those I am able to delete them, and they dont come back again. Why is this happening? Is the OS or maybe MicroSD?

Are you using File Commander to delete them? With KitKat firmware, 3rd party apps can't be used to delete files from SD card. You need to use system apps like File Commander.
Hey guys,
I want to have ios emojis on a Goophone i6. It has a ios 8 look and its based on android 4.2.2 aokp (if im not mistaken).
I tried to flash zip files, replaced ttf's (and changed the permissions of these files).
I've tried everything I could find on the internet, but i always get android emojis (some were even missing) or i get black, old looking emojis.
Can someone please help me?
Thank you
Kenneth

Me too. I have a Goophone i6 plus, what is stopping us to enjoy colorful emojis is the system. KitKat and later have native but colorful ones.
