[Q] Xperia E1 Firware - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anyone point me in the direction on how to downgrade my Sony Xperia E1 D2005 to Ice Cream Sandwitch? I have this version of Android in my Xperia J and it works 100% better for my GPS what i use a lot. I cannot get flashtool to work on any phone but i did manage to flash my E1 back to jellybean from Kitkat to allow me to root it but the firware was an IMG file so i could use Phoenixsuite. Any way of flashing from SD.
Cheers

If you updated ota your device is a stock so just use xperia companion and do a software repair it's essentially the same thing. It'll reinstall the whole ftf from scratch just like flashtool.
Sent from my Xperia XA using XDA Labs
Flashtool v.0.9.2*** hardbrick Xperia C4 and C5 !
But you can use Flashtool v.0.9.19*** and it's works great !!

HELP !!! Original Sony Android 4.0.4 ftf file for Xperia P

Hello,
I hope, somebody is able to help me. I just bought the Xperia P for my daughter as her first smartphone. It was delivered with Android 2.3.7 for which you find only very few programs. Can anybody provide a link to the original Sony Andorid 4.0.4 ftf file I could flash with the flash tool? I cannot find it on the internet. Any link I found is dead.
Regards
Stephan
I found the latest official update to Android 4.1.2. in a german Android forum. So I was able to update the Xperia P. Other links are no longer required.
