Yesterday, I received email from King.com about Trademark.
And now I have just changed application name "Happy Farm Legend".
Could I be complain by King.com again?
I also can find more and more application name contain "Saga".
The new name should be different enough to avoid any problem. The old one would probably have been fine, but likely not worth the cost of a potential court case.
I am not a lawyer. This is not legal advice. If you want legal advice about trademarks, you should consult a lawyer.
If EA or whoever owns the copyright finds this a problem and decides it violates their copyright, they will usually ask you nicely first, before suing.
The Windows Phone Marketplace has this very nice button in with which one can report an app for violation of various laws, including copyright. Microsoft will then ask the owner of the app to kindly rename their app.
So I don't think you should have a problem unless you are looking to have a problem.
Neither you nor the copyright owners want to waist money and time in courthouses, so you should be fine, unless you are actually looking for trouble.
Trademark and Copyright are not the same thing, but that argument is *probably* valid.

You may have heard some of us talk about our mysterious day-jobs. Now is the time for us to tell what we've been working on. We've been creating an encrypted telephone, in software, on the XDA.
The following links tell more:

thumbs up
That's impressive.
Good work ... do not have such a requirement for now but it's good to be out there.
And since "our" developers are in front line ... it's even better.
Decebal
This CryptoPhone reminded me about a question I 4got to ask...
When ever i make a call, for about the first 5 seconds (sumtimes longer or shorter)... I can hear other ppls conversations....so i was wondering, is there any software to make the device into sum sort of scanner? 8)
I dont think I will be ordering one as the price seems to be aimed at industrialist multi millionaires and the like. I do admire the fact that the spooks have no access but I dont know how long that will last as I am sure that as we speak some beaurocrat is wording the legislation to outlaw it on the basis that it threatens security or some such nonsense.

Good morning all. I've bought by mistake a blister with 3 stylus for the Herald (P4350). Now
I'm selling it because I own an Elf (P3450)...and I know you're guessing the error !!
Never opened, never used of course; 3 stylus with a ball pen on one side and the reset pin on the other one, both covered with a cap.

Sold. Thanks to Neptune.
I guess I didn't read the post properly(guess I wasn't looking either cuz there are some pretty big pics also), was too eager to get a stylus. I didn't realize that they were pen's also, I thought I was paying for regular stylus'. Great deal that went through
Thanks for the deal Ginex, and I'll be on the lookout for some RUSH e-books(btw listening to Tom Sawyer atm) and let you know if I find any.
Cheers

Paid app with no link to get it for free (not even a trial option on the store). Violation of the forum rules (you know, the ones linked at the top of every forum section?), particularly rule #11: Don’t post with the intention of selling something.
If you want to post advertising, you can pay XDA for that and they will put it in a nice little sidebar or whatever. If you want to get feedback from XDA members, post a copy of the app (a .XAP is fine; most of us have dev-unlocked phones, especially now that it's free). Do not use the forum as an ad platform!

Hello everyone,
After several requests from our app partners we have recently released a new app on Google Play store where you can see:
- the different integration options for Pollfish surveys (Standard and Incentivized one)
- the different survey formats available (Basic and Playful).
This way you can easily see the experience that your users will have, based on the approach you follow.

Regarding survey inventory, we had a decrease during the summer months since most business in the market research marketplace are not quite active, however we have great news for the next months after new big contracts signed with market research companies and brand agencies! We are working around the clock to bring more and more surveys on the platform. More surveys, mean more money; more money means happy app partners

Cool! Even though I have had good success with OS upgrades in the past, many do not. Sometimes the OOB software is the best. Doing an upgrade can sometimes introduce more problems than it ever fixes.
It looks like it moves farther into the "walled garden" concept in the name of security. App data backups are now completely forbidden except by Google. Not even ADB will work. Considering how much of a dumpster fire Android 11 is, I'm not looking forward to this. Sony doesn't have the software devs to provide workarounds or or support 3rd party ROMs.
COOL
