Hi!
I have big problems to customise my Note 4 after the lolliflop upgrade (so far it's a downgrade for me!). I'm in need of an app that offers the possibility to switch between the interruption modes pretty easily. Are there any apps out there which can actually do this?
Thanks for your help
With this.
Thank you for your reply. I already know this. My question was: is there an app that does this job?
What implementation can be easier than that?
An app at the bottom of your screen or a gesture for example.

So you want a persistent icon in your screen while you have the same icon but in the drop-down statusbar?...
I have a better one: slide down your statusbar, expand your quick settings and press edit (pencil button). Now move the icon and replace it to any of the first row of icons. That's all! Now slide down your statusbar and you'll have the button closer to your fingers.

With Nova launcher you can shortcut pretty everything ... from settings or from hidden settings

Thanks again. If I could pull down the status bar like on 4.4.4, it would be an okay solution (still one tap more). In case of a one-handed operation on Lollipop (no apps available which can pull down the status bar) still useless.

As far as I know even the shortcut for pulling down the notification bar doesn't work on Lollipop. So I can't imagine that this feature is already implemented. Would have to pay 3 euros in order to check it out...

If the only reason is one hand operation then why you don't use one handed mode? You can activate it do what you want and deactivate it easly

That's what I'm actually doing right now. But in the end I think I'll have to downgrade again. Developers seem to be quite late in order to make their apps compatible with Android 5.
What were you using with 4.4.4 to do this?

I don't think there's a way to do this without breaking the notification drawer's swipe down gesture. Statusbar Scroll to Top uses the main notification drawer to receive the touch event. (since the notification drawer uses appears when tapping the statusbar).

notification led off after double tap
Hi, normally, if there is new notifications (sms, email, call, etc) not viewed in notification drawer (literally, not expanded in order to see notification details), the LED blinks when the screen is off. The LED stops blinking when you open the proper app to see what notification is talking about, but also it stops if you expand the notification drawer and simply see some notification details.
Well, it seems that android make stops LED to blink with only one tap on the status bar = assume you have expanded completely the notification drawer. This is not a problem because usually no one is tapping the status bar, buy only for expanding notification drawer. Until now.
So, if there are notifications not viewed and you double tap the status bar to sleep the phone, the LED is not going to blink.
This issue is not big deal, and the module es really awesome, many thanks! :good:
I Have a problem alongside a question.
You probably know hiw annoying it is when playing games and suddenly a toast comes up and you cant so anything in the respective area.
Is there a mod out which gives the ability to touch right through them without disabling them completely?
Gesendet von meinem SM-N9005 mit Tapatalk
I'm not aware about this kind of mod but here's a couple of xposed modules that might be helpful:
• Turns toasts into notifications in the status bar
• EnhancedToast
2nd one is out since it kills the toast which is what I specifically ruled out (already using this to undesired ones)
1st one? Well not rly but not bad, although it kills the purpose of toasts, like viewing it instantly even in full screen apps like movies games etc. The only weakness is the point that they absorb the touches...

Hi, thanks for the tweakbox. Suggestions? Well, there is this issue with Sense and ICS: you cannot get to pattern lock unless you unlock the ring lock screen. Would be great if you could switch on the phone and the the pattern immediately without unlocking first...
Thanks again!
Thanks a lot!
How about adding an option to select the number of attempts? Like, 5, 10, 20, and infinite?

Hello!
I'm looking for a module, or app, that brings me back the JB possibility of have the slide AND the secure pattern lock-screens, both together.
Why? Because on KK, if I chose a secure lock, the lock-screen shortcuts disappear...sadly.
Thanks for your job!

Unique Controls - Change the way you use your device
This app brings you 2 great features that changes the way you use your device as soon as you get used to them you will never want to live without them again
The first one "Halo" is a little bubble that hovers over all your apps. Halo gives you quick access to your notifications (similar to facebook chat heads but for every app) by showing them in a beautiful and intuitive
way. You can launch, dismiss and scroll trough all of them.
The second feature is "Pie". Pie gives you the power of gesture navigation in whatever app you are. Simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal a beautiful menu with your favorite actions.
So what are you waiting for, try it out and experience android as it should be
In order to use floating windows you have to have xposed framework installed

great job!
i found some issues:
some how the accessibility control of PA has disable and could not be enable 'cause some app cover the window.
further, if the status in 'app notifycations' can "all or none", it will be great.
and i'd love to know that, it is any possible that PA interacts with XHFW3 that makes the app booted in PA become movable and adjustable.
if you dont mind, i would like to help to translate the ui into Chinese.

Today I installed the app "Navigation Gestures" by XDA and it looks really beautiful on the phone.
I also used the app "Blank Icons" to create a blank space in the lower part of the home screen, so that I had nothing under the navigation pill. (See attached screenshot)
I think the app is worth a try!
EDIT: the navigation buttons disappear if you are on one of the stock themes; with other themes they remain visible underneath the bar.

Hi, I'm using the navigation gestures app with the oneplus preset on my stock sony Z5, but I'm facing an issue with the stock home launcher. I have an empty space between the dock and the bottom end of the screen (exactly where the navigation bar was). I tried all the compatibility and advanced settings in the app but makes no difference. How do you solve the issue?
p.s. no problem with other launchers.

Hi! Actually I quit using xda's Navigation Gestures, and I'm currently on Fluid Navigation Gestures beta - thath I find more customizable.
With that said, I didn't have that problem with the first releases of the app (although I had a large space between the first row on the home screen and the dock, as you can see in the image in my previous post; that's present also in Fluid N. G.).
Try installing and old version of the app (they shold be still available on the Telegram group) and see how it works, maybe it's a bug introduced with latest releases and you can report it to the developers!
(Sorry if I couldn't be very helpful)

Hi, no worries and thank you anyway. Yesterday I installed a newer version of Xperia home (posted by someone here on xda) and it solved the issue.

Hello everyone
I want to share simple trick, unfortunately requires root...
I love navigation gestures app it is so customizable!
Here are my setting which I liked most:
-Home like in Samsung gestures down swipe
-Recent app down, centered, hold
-Back right side of screen swipe
-Split screen down, left and swipe hold
-last app down, right and swipe hold
Ta-dah! now you have improved android 10 gestures (you decide if you wish have visible pill or not)
As you can see I have whole screen to use
What I have done is reachable in two ways:
-Install app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.conena.navigation.bar.remover
-Manual build.prop edition. Search line in build.prop located or vendor partition and edit it from
Code:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
to
Code:
