I've been using SP flash tools to flash my ROM's to my device but i got cwm installed and its easier to flash them from sd card now.
But the problem is i dont know how to make my rom "compatible" with cwm.
Any help would be appreciated.

I had a Optimus One earlier and the way it worked there was flash CWM through ROM manager and no matter what kernel you use CWM would stick.
I wanted to know why in SGSII kernel comes with CWM inside it and does not work
standalone like it works in many other devices.I tried searching for answers but could not.

You can't flash cwm through rom manager because the stock kernel won't allow non-signed zip's, so signature verification has to be disabled in the kernel, i guess the dev's then figure what the hell lets throw cwm into the kernel while we're making a kernel.
Hope you can help me. I rooted my friends phone via odin. When i was about to flash a rom via cwm recovery mode - its opening to a "manual mode", im unable to flash the rom. Hope you can help me with this. Thank You
which rom are you trying to flash via cwm?
did you copy the rom to your internal sd card so that cwm can see it.

I messed up a little with an accidental fastboot command whereby I accidentally flashed the boot, now I cannot boot up and my main hope is to flash the stock boot.img and stock recovery (my original intention).
I was looking for an RUU in a zip format or a stock ROM but had no luck, is it possible someone has these? I need it for HBOOT 1.49.18 and Android 2.3.
Failing that I guess I would need to full wipe and install a Custom ROM by manually flashing the Custom ROM's boot.img, the problem is then however in getting the ROM zip file on my SD... I think CWM touch enables USB mounting am I correct?
Do you have an sd card adapter? If you have, just put it in your computer. You can use any recovery image you like.

Actually I've installed a custom rom that bricked my phone. I had nandroid backup of my phone. I tried to restore by cwm but then i got "Error: mounting/system". After that i converted nandroid backup up to cwm flashable zip which then i flashed using cwm.. it completed successfully but nothing happened. My phone remain stuck on boot logo. It seems like that i have Hard bricked my phone and it can only be sort out my flashing rom through sp flash tool. But the problem is that there is no rom for my phone online. Now i want to convert that flashable zip to sp flash tool.
Please help me out. My phones dead. Help will be appreciated. Thanks

I am currently using a symphony r100 2gb ram variant. And I want to backup my stock ROM for further use. But I don't want to root my phone or install any custom recovery like CWM or TWRP recoveries.
Because once I did try to create a backup with TWRP but that bricked my phone eventually.
And the stock ROM for this device was not free. :crying:
they were password protected!
So I want to create a fresh flashable stock ROM in zip format with the scatter file. So that I can use it further and for uploading it for others for free!! :victory:
