in the question I wanted to ask that if I create a theme for kitkat then it'll work on lollipop or not

Which kernel do you use ?
i tried with stock kernel doesn't worked for me,
but with vegeance works.

Try this SystemUI.. Rename and Copy/Paste to system\app.

i dont know any, try googling how to port apps to CM11 or AOSP or what ever rom you want to port

you cant. octo core variant are not supported. there is little to no one working on the octo core at this time. you will have to stay stock

Hello everyone.
Since they use came cpu and gpu, i think we can port the Sony's new Concept for Marshmellow from z3. I want to port but, idk where should i start. No experience with the rom porting. Anybody help me about where i start? Thanks...
