I'm currently undergoing the issue of having the back peel off my nexus 6 and I've only had it for a week so I don't have another $600.00 for them to place a hold on my account for a replacement. On google+ a guy sent me a link and said these might be wood replacement backs. He said somebody posted a pic of it and said they are actual replacement backs not just skins. If they are backs I plan on buying one now

These are simply skins that stick over the back, not replacement back panels. If you need a new back panel, they're on ebay with adhesive skin to apply them similar to stock. Goodluck.
Yes you can buy new white and blue back panels from ebay. They are perfect replacements.

Just to add to this, yes they are an adhesive skin, but they are real wood, and not a thin flimsy decal. If you read the original @slickwraps thread, people have removed the plastic nexus backing, and put the Naturals bamboo skin as a replacement, and it was a perfect fit, but it wasnt meant to be a replacement and not marketed as such. (The Naturals line, both leather and wood, are much thicker than flimsy plastic decals since they are real leather and wood)
I myself own a few of the Slickwraps Naturals products, and I have to say I am impressed with the quality.
I have the dark brown leather as my back and I removed the stock back. It fits 100% perfect and I love it! I also bought a spare OEM back in case I need it. The bamboo might need some sanding to fit flush I haven't tried it with mine yet but if and when I do I'll post some pictures.

OK no problem and yes I bought the spare OEM back on eBay from a seller in NJ. The leather is on my phone so I'll take some pictures for you. I just applied some conditioner so it's wet but I have a older picture of when I first installed it that I'll post right now below for you. I'll add new pictures once the constraints l conditioner is done drying. I"aged" the leather because it looks better with some wear on it.

i also bought an extra back from ebay. received it yesterday but the curved part of the letter "u" was not in place. it had come off. i put it back in place no problem but it leads me to think they will come off easy. another thing i noticed is that the ebay one, the "nexus" letters are chrome and the ones that actually come on the phone are silver.
good thing i got the ebay one to play with it. i'm going to end up painting it or something. haven't decided what yet.

The one I bought is fine and identical to my OEM one that I took off my phone. I can post a side by side if you would like. It could be a different supplier for the back or something because most people have had good experiences with the ones from eBay. I'm not saying there aren't bad ones out there but I received a good one.

I've come to realize how much I would use a kickstand on my Rezound. I've already placed a backorder for the HTC kickstand case from HTCpedia. I have searched the web for another retailer carrying this case, but cannot find it anywhere.
Anyone else happen to find this case? I'm hoping to be able to get this case sooner rather than later. :/
Bought a shell holster combo from GizmoReady on Amazon. Way better than the one Verizon sells. Fits regular battery. Check it out. And yes it has a kickstand.

got mine in the mail today from Amazon.com... Had great reviews and was very similar to the case that I had with my Galaxy Nexus. I wanted the one at VZW store, but it was for the large battery.. oh whoops sorry i meant to ask sandman_nyc_316 about his case, not yours. Your's i like the look but I'm not satisfied about the protection it offers for the top and bottom bezel of the rezound. it if gets dropped, the top and bottom bezel of the phone can still get scratched. thats my fear of getting this case

That's not the one originally brought up in the OP. That's the cheaper one, the "rubberized" one. I got one just like it off Amazon for $13 shipped (see link above) and I'm going to review it in a couple days. The one the OP brought up is the "hard shell" one.
I called HTCpedia and was told that HTC has problems with fulfillment and that this case would most likely not be in stock for about one more month. I canceled my order.

I just got one from Amazon today--$10 shipped--which appears to be exactly the same one shown on the wireless video. It is also very similar, only the pattern is different, as the one sold by Verizon, except this only fits the standard battery. I don't know about the "rubberized" statement, but this case/holster is definitely hard.
This case fits the phone very well, however, it only wraps the sides, not the top or bottom. It is easy to snap off and on. The phone does not wiggle inside the case like it does on the dual battery Verizon case. It also fits the holster very well and seems to be secure. It has the pull-out stand which works vertically and horizontally. It seems a little flimsy but we'll see how long it last.
It has all the necessary openings: lens, lights, headset, power, volume, rear speaker, and two holes on the back and one on the side that have to do with noise suppression on the phone--the holes are on the phone.
The holster clips works well on my belt and allows for rotation.
Bottom line: I like it. It is like the one I had on my Dinc for two years.

They were available on eBay before the P6800 were even officially released. I got one and it fits very well, but using the Samsung book case now.

They also have it bundled with a screen protector too. Three colors available black, pink & purple.

dont worry about that，quality really good. cant be break easy，and feel nice when you hold it，smooth put on face.
I have the Smasung OEM case and it works beautifully....for me I think covering the screen is more important than covering the aluminium back. The first perceived issue with the OEM case "flap" is really not an issue at all as mine has never flapped open becuase of the way it is carried. In edition, it can be positioned in either landscape or portrait mode. It is a good idea to keep the rubber grip edge on the case clean so it continues to grip any surface. This device is such a beautiful design that I find the Samsung case compliments it very well.

TPU stands for Thermoplastic Polyurethane, it's a different material from silicone.
Generally firmer and has a more rigid structure.
I find the smart cover case of my iPad 2 is ideal for typing in "landscape keyboard" mode. I haven't found any cases on eBay etc that do this except some really bulky/fugly ones. Has anyone found anything elegant/thin along the lines of the iPad 2 smart cover yet? I realize the GT7.7 doesn't have the logic to turn off when the cover is closed, I can live without that!

As long as the surface is not overly smooth, the Samsung Original Book Cover case does stand in landscape (thanks to rubber strips that adds friction). See pics. May not *look* especially stable, but it does seem to hold out nicely.
Ironically, I would like to see a case that allows my tab to stand in portrait mode, since I'm more likely to read that way. Never seen one before.

Thats the one. I personally prefer cases that give all round protection and this case does that. I find cases that only grip the corners can come loose over time, and badly made ones have terrible tolerances and may not even adequetly hold the device.

That's basically exactly the same as the one I posted above except my link is cheaper and located in the UK (minus the screen protector but they are pence anyway)

Have you received your TPU case? I ordered one yesterday but I got an email today from the vendor saying that they just found out they wouldn't fit AT&T phones and they refunded me. Now I'm not seeing any TPU ones on ebay.

I ordered mine off eBay 2 days ago and got the same message, he also gave me a full refund. Time to start saving pennies for an otterbox!

Thanks, I saw that. I've had 2 piece cases on my other phones in the past (incipio, body glove) and I actually prefer the cheap TPU ones best. The cheap TPU ebay/amazon ones (like this: http://tinyurl.com/ct4ktzd) are really low profile, slide in and out of the pocket easily, are flexible yet firm enough to absorb shock from reasonably high drops and only cost like $3. Hopefully someone comes out with one for the OG soon. I might buy one of those ones you linked to in the meantime.

Dropped my phone this morning, no damage but I decided I couldn't wait around for a case I actually liked and ordered one of those foryourcell ones. I'll post some pictures and write up a little review when I receive it.

Ventev Case
The case arrived and fits the AT&T LG Optimus G E970.
The case consists of 2 parts, a TPU case and a Polycarbonate back cover. The Polycarbonate back cover can be taken off and you can then just use the TPU case.
All buttons remain functional with the case even though the case covers them, and all of the ports and the camera remain functional and accessible.
I have no problem slipping in or taking the phone out of my pocket with the case on.
The case does add significant thickness and heft to the phone, but the case seems solid.
I should mention that I ordered the case from Amzer.com, but it looks identical, and has Ventev printed on the back Polycarbonate cover.

There are cutouts for both the bottom and top mics.
Can you please take some pictures when you have some free time? The only picture online is the one just showing the back.

The notification light gets covered up unfortunately.
Here's some crappy pictures. Only complaint is the tpu rubber part fits really tight. It was hard to get in and lifted up the corner of the screen protected. But took it straight from mailbox and put on phone, so maybe I should have let it warm up.

So, from what I see, the Amzer and Ventev cases are identical, except for the logo on the back?
This is a very beautifull case. I think is over price at $20 but been a official samsung case and lower than last year cover case ($35) i think is worth it if u really want a miniman look no case like cover and keep ur device beautifull look.
I had the case for 2 days. Very happy with it and no scratches yet. The color is a very orchard grey like which maches perfect with all the phone colors avail. Snap easily and very tight fit. All cut outs are in perfect position. Not much grip since is plastic.

Is there an overhanging lip on the top and bottom that prevents the screen from touching if laid face-down?

Looks blue is only available for prime. What color did you get? Is silver actually clear? I have a black S8 not sure if the colors of the covers are that much different. I got a 30% off accessories from Samsung so I might use that but stupid me didn't pre-order so I might get that and a VR or just wait on the VR.

Is transparent dark grey. Looks like the back of the orchard grey version. Nowhere near blue. Still going strong. No scratch yet. which is what worries me about plastic hard cover case.

Well it better be going strong you probably just got it. hehe You probably could put maybe some clear tape or screen protector to prevent scratches. The Samsung clear covers are the only ones I buy. At times buy a cheap more bulky case to use when I'm golfing and drinking. I wonder if any stores have the cases in stock. I didn't see any at T-Mobile.

I can't make up my mind between the orchid gray or silver. I didn't care for the orchid gray kind of makes the back look purple or maybe just the lighting in the picture. I've always got the silver and it makes the phone pop a tad more. imo Just a personal preference thing.

Plastic... Samsung has 4 colors. Black, blue, silver and orchid gray (picture in OP).

U should definitly look around in tmobile cause thats was where i got it. They had like 10 availa. All other official samsung case were also avail. I was actuallu surprise for the $20 price tag since samsung has been way overprices on this cover. Always $35-$40

Yeah is hard plastic thin case (not tpu? Official samsung clear cover case for s8 which looks different from their older models on the s7 or s6.

I got mine at Fry's. Love it and others that see it love it as well. They assume I'm not using a case.
I'm waiting for damn Samsung to get them in stock. I should get it for $13 with 30% email code and saying $18.50 on sale.

Go to tmobile buy it for $20, use it. When u get urs from samsung return the tmobile version to the store.

Try going to a corporate store. Thats were most tmonile have it. But i bet alot of them are sold out. I was the first one in on launch day and they offer me like 5 cases. Screen protectors, usb type c, charger, battery backup, s3 watch etc. I must have said no like 20 times.
I could imagine pushing accesories to buyers they would run out of inventory pretty quick.
