Please never go For MMX
HI all,
i jad 3 mmx phones and all the three were really very bad and thw worst part is i never got a single update from mmx.
community support is also very bad...
so i ll ask you ppl to go for some branded phones to get proper updates and good battery life finally the phone ll last more than a year(mmx phones never lasted for more than 9 months)
am a heavy smartphone user

Yea agree with that!
They use the MTK based chipset in these canvas mobiles, which is indeed cheaper (china)
But its not as reliable and durable as Qualcomm or any other branded ones

They sell there phones in the name of os and processor
whereas the ram ins damn low and lack sensors.
Amazing i like micromax it give batter feature as compare to other with low price.
Mmx phones are best in terms of price...
I'm using a90s and perform faster compare to other phones which price is less than 20k...
Only need to provide better consumer services and updates...
Even Sony Ericson plans to use mediatek proccesors. So they are not so bad.its a romour though .
+ don't expect the performance of a 35-40k device from 15k device.
I think that this device will outperform Samsung galaxy grand (21k device)in almost every aspect.
An same HD resolution as s3 + same amount of ram as s3 but lower power+ a quad core but a little less powerfull but more secure than samsungs processors + a 5inch display and most important ->all this in 15k device.
Don't buy it. 1. From previous A110 battery experience , it is clear that 2100mA battery is not sufficient for multiprocessing system. Although it has same battery config as Nexus 4, but remember the brand name. 2. More than 12000+ in INR, we must expect at least one update . This brand only provide u out of the box os, no OTA. Whereas Samsung like company will provide u a great support.
So either go for grand or wait for 2 months more for next canvas (prob A120) release.

I would suggest to stay away from these phones, instead I would suggest you throw in some more money and get a Samsung or Sony or even HTC.
Had a hands on experience with A110 which a friend bought....
It's not even near GS2... The poor display and shoddy build quality shows the moment you take both the phones in hand and compare....

Guys,
Never compare A110 with A116. Both are different in there way. What samsung/Sony/LG is giving in 25K above, MMX is giving it in near about 15K. The person who wants to buy a phone like S2(answer for above posts) will see the difference while comparing to MMX A116. 1280*720 display resolutions(just like my Note 2). quad core processor (unlike S2) 16M color(like both S2 & NOTE 2), IPS Brigh Display(LG is also using this) & last but not the least 1 GB ram(like S2). It has lack of Dev support. Nothing Else. I have tried MIUI Launcher with 50% Brightness on A110 and trust me, it was awesome.
In the end, if anybody want to but a mobile with great features(note premium suites like Samsung) can avail this. Otherwise Pay High & Get high. I m not follower of MMX but i m practical

Hii guys..
I am using Panasonic P81 which dont have KITKAT os update yet.
But news is this, PANASONIC LAUNCHES P55 WITH 5.5-INCH DISPLAY with KITKAT 4.4.2 OS.
Both these phones are quite similar in specs.
So, request for users of P81, CAN WE GET OS of this new phone ????
Apart from screen size p55 is nowhere near p81.. p55 is a low grade phone and still kitkat..
asking kitkat from a company who does not care to provide minor updates to rectify bugs is useless and this is the reason they have dropped its price from rs19000 to rs12000 for this wonderful device.. still panasonic can work on software updates to nominate p81 in the list of best devices of its time..
I agree. P81 is a very capable phone. If it gets kitkat makeover then nothing like it.
Hello people, i have Lenovo golden warrior A808T great phone, great cpu performance. I gonna sell my Lenovo and for same money i wanna take GIONEE ELIFE E7 32gb rom and 3GB ram, it's very strong phone, you get 16mp back and 8mp fron cameras, 5.5 full hd IPS screen, snapdragon 800, 3gb of ram only 150eur , best phone for the money. Only problem might be that this phone running android 4.2.2 , but recently i saw that this phone got kitkat update, some people say that they can't update due error not responding, why they can't update their phones ? same thing in my lenovo, i have rooted 4.4.2 android, and i get error then i click update. I need opinion about this phone, i saw bunch of reviews , phone overall strong and cheap.
http://http://www.sammobile.com/2016/05/13/galaxy-a8-receives-wi-fi-certification-running-android-6-0-1/Galaxy A8 receives Wi-Fi Certification running Android 6.0.1
JOSH L. / 3 DAYS AGO
Samsung has been, slowly but surely, dishing out the long-awaited Marshmallow update to all eligible smartphones in its 2015/2016 lineup, and it now looks like the Galaxy A8 will be the next major handset to receive the firmware as the device has just been granted Wi-Fi Certification running the latest build of Android 6.0.1.
Typically, once a device passes through the Wi-Fi Certification facility and receives approval for an upgrade, manufacturers start pushing out an OTA within just one-to-two weeks — so if you own a Galaxy A8, you shouldn’t have too much longer to wait until you can start playing around with all the new functionality Marshmallow has to offer.

Wi-Fi Certification Certificate
A9000 got today, firmware can be downloaded from sammobile!
Nice.I wait For it.
Hope to see the marshmallow to A3 phones as well!
Any news about MM for A8 ?
samsung is as usual slow in updating its mobiles.. they r always concerned with the flagship handsets update and delay the other important ones. we should be more thankful to the devs here who really strive hard day and night to give us the best software and support.
NO UPDATE AFTER WIFI CERTIFICATION FROM SAMSUNG FOR 6.0.1 UPDATE TO A8.
Biggest drawback of Vivo mobile devices are its lack of system (Android and Funtouch bug fixes) and security updates OTA delivery compare to other brands (Realme, MI, Samsung,..)
Is there anything we can do to **PUSH** Vivo to make them accountable to provide better and faster software updates????
Due to this Vivo devices gets out dated too soon in market... And you end up looking for another brand device.
Unfortunately, Vivo does not realise this hampers there own brand value.
Thia was one of the biggest reason I moved away / refrain buying Huawei and specially Lenovo, LG, Motorola phones as all of them had very poor after sale software update Frequency..

I did some more research and seems Funtouch has improved a lot in terms of experience and ease of usage. Still require some quirks clean-up
However, X50 and X50 pro updates were very slow
So, if you buy Vivo's latest and greatest phone running on Funtouch or Android 11 there is no guarantee you will get Android 12 ( or on time). I couldn't find, on Vivo official site update release plan list anywhere.
Also what is the story of Origin OS ?? How Vivo's development team focusing on improving Funtouch or Origin OS??

Funtouch is developed for non Chinese market (stock based)
OriginOS is only for chinese devices
Funtouch global is more updated then chinese one. X51 (european version of X50 Pro) is on Android 11 from december and has March patches
