i just had a galaxy grand clone but it isn't a new one. i want to replace it stock rom with another one. Using mtk tool here is what i found:

You will be hard pressed to find anything outside of some China forums. Xda doesn't work with clones at all and most developers won't touch them.

Hello People. I am a Noob. I don't know anything about Rooting. I have bought a duplicate Samsung Galaxy S III. I want to Root it. I have tried the Exynos method and the OneClickRoot method. The former says that it is not possible to Root my device via Exynos. In the latter, it is just not being Installed and Prompts me to check if my USB Debugging is on. The device is a duplicate of the Samsung Galaxy S III GT-I9300. Please tell me if I can root it. If not, please suggest me some fixes for the camera quality and the non-functioning of heavy games such a Temple Run 2 and Subway Surfers.

I made backup before flashing other rom but if I try the restore is done without errors, but the cell is illuminated only diplay without other signs of life.

Please help. I have a device i9300....... There were several problems and i decided to reinstall the firmware. I installed a wrong firmware and device is not switching on now. I have a backup mtkdroittols, but when I install the device is freezing on the android screen. Your issue is you have a cloned Galaxy device. The issue with clones is that there is no real way fix things if things go wrong. You could try some China based sites where they deal more with knock offs
